한국 청동기시대 '사회' 고고학의 문제 (The Problems of the Archaeological Approaches to the Bronze Age Society)

  • 이 논문은 한반도 청동기시대 '사회' 고고학을 어떠한 관점과 방법으로 연구할 것인가를 검토해 보고자 작성되었다. 먼저 한국의 '사회' 고고학 접근을 연구사적으로 검토하였는데 1970년대까지는 민족사의 흐름과 같이 모호한 실체와 과정으로 사회진화의 단계를 서술하는데 그쳤다고 보았다. 이러한 관념에서 벗어나 단위사회의 규모와 지배권력의 성격 등에 주목하기 시작한 것은 1980년대부터였고, 고고학 자료의 위계와 분포를 분석하여 사회단위와 그 조직을 복원해 보려는 노력은 1990년대 들어와서야 가능했다고 보았다. 그리고 영미와 일본 고고학에서 이루어진 사회에 대한 접근의 틀을 참고하여 청동기시대 취락을 분석하기 시작한 것은 불과 10년 전의 일이다. 다음으로, 어떤 고고학적 실체를 지칭하는 용어로 정착된 'OO유형' 이라는 개념과 종족집단의 존재가 전제된 문화단위에 대한 관념들을 비판적으로 검토하였다. 청동기시대 고고학자들은 한편으로 취락 내부와 취락 간의 유물분포를 분석하여 사회적인 특성들은 정의하고 있지만 다른 한편으로는 'OO유형' 이라는 문화적 실체의 생성과 확장, 및 소멸에 관한 논의를 하고 있는데 이것은 생산적인 '사회' 고고학 연구에 전혀 도움이 안 된다고 보았다. 비파형동검과 같이 광역으로 분포하는 물질문화의 요소들을 고대 종족명과 관련시키는 연구관점에 대해 비판하였다. 이와 같이 광역으로 분포하는 물질문화의 존재는 지역집단들 사이에 형성된 모종의 관계망으로 설명할 필요가 있으며 나아가 이러한 관계망을 통해 이루어지는 상호작용의 성격과 함께 그 물질문화의 상징적 의미가 지역에 따라 어떻게 변용되는지에 대해서 검토될 필요가 있다고 보았다.

Exploring Concurrent Validity and Item Level Analysis for Two Korean Versions of Health-Related Quality of Life Instrument: EQ-5D vs. WHOQOL-BREF

  • Background: Cross-culturally adapted questionnaires may not be comparable to their original version. Objects: To examine concurrent validity of two health-related quality of life (HRQOL) instruments for the Korean versions of EuroQOL-5 Dimension (EQ-5D) and the abbreviated version of the World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) instrument. Methods: A total of 139 cancer survivors from two rehabilitation institutes was recruited. All participants were registered for palliative rehabilitation care. Both instruments were concurrently administered by health care providers following the second bout of the rehabilitation cares. Rasch partial credit model and Spearman's correlation analysis were used to investigate: 1) dimensionality, 2) hierarchical item difficulty, and 3) concurrent validity using correlations between two instruments. Results: For the WHOQOL-BREF, all items except negative feeling, pain, dependence of medical aid, were found to be acceptable, while all items of EQ-5D were acceptable. There was an evidence of negative correlations between EQ-5D and 4 domains of WHOQOL-BREF. Two correlations were strong (EQ-5D vs. physical health domain, ρ = -0.610, 95% CI = -0.716 to -0.475) and moderate (EQ-5D vs. psychosocial domain, ρ = -0.402, 95% CI = -0.546 to -0.236). Other two correlations were weak (EQ-5D vs. social relationship and environmental domains, ρ = -0.242, 95% CI = -0.401 to -0.075 and ρ = -0.364, 95% CI = -0.514 to -0.207, respectively). Item difficulty calibrations of the two measurements were ranged from -0.84 to 0.86 for the EQ-5D and -1.07 to 1.06 for the WHOQOL-BREF. Conclusion: The study provides some supports for the concurrent validity of the two Korean versions of HRQOL instrument, with evidences of weak to strong correlations between the EQ-5D and four domains of the WHOQOL-BREF applied to various cancer survivors. Additionally, the cancer survivors appeared to have more of a tendency to view the EQ-5D items as being slightly more challenging than the WHOQOL-BREF items.

치과위생사의 감정노동, 근무환경 분위기, 직무몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of emotional labor, organizational climate, and job involvement on turnover intention in Korean dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional labor, organizational climate, and job involvement on turnover intention in Korean dental hygienists. Methods: A total of 806 dental hygienists were enrolled in this study. A self-administered questionnaire was used to evaluate the demographic and occupational characteristics, emotional labor, organizational climate, job involvement, and turnover intention of the subjects. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis was performed. All statistical analyses were performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences for Windows (version 23.0) and p-values < 0.05 were considered significant. Results: Highly chronic exposure to emotional labor were more likely to increase the risk of turnover intention among dental hygienists, especially in the sub-scales of "over-load and conflict in customer service" (OR: 1.64; CI: 1.01-2.64), "organizational surveillance and monitoring" (OR: 1.76; 95% CI: 1.21-2.57), and "lack of a supportive and protective system in the organization" (OR: 1.76; 95% CI: 1.36-2.46). Job involvement (OR: 0.91; 95% CI: 0.86-0.96) and organizational climate (OR: 0.82; 95% CI: 0.75-0.90) were negatively associated with turnover intention among dental hygienists. Conclusions: Exposure to chronic and excessive emotional labor might be a contributing factor for turnover intention, and job involvement and a positive organizational climate contribute to protecting the negative impacts of emotional labor on turnover intention in dental hygienists.

한국어 단음절에서 자음과 모음 자질의 비선형적 지각 (Nonlinear Interaction between Consonant and Vowel Features in Korean Syllable Perception)

  • This study investigated the interaction between consonants and vowels in Korean syllable perception using a speeded classification task (Garner, 1978). Experiment 1 examined whether listeners analytically perceive the component phonemes in CV monosyllables when classification is based on the component phonemes (a consonant or a vowel) and observed a significant redundancy gain and a Garner interference effect. These results imply that the perception of the component phonemes in a CV syllable is not linear. Experiment 2 examined the further relation between consonants and vowels at a subphonemic level comparing classification times based on glottal features (aspiration and lax), on place of articulation features (labial and coronal), and on vowel features (front and back). Across all feature classifications, there were significant but asymmetric interference effects. Glottal feature.based classification showed the least amount of interference effect, while vowel feature.based classification showed moderate interference, and place of articulation feature-based classification showed the most interference. These results show that glottal features are more independent to vowels, but place features are more dependent to vowels in syllable perception. To examine the three-way interaction among glottal, place of articulation, and vowel features, Experiment 3 featured a modified Garner task. The outcome of this experiment indicated that glottal consonant features are independent to both the place of articulation and vowel features, but the place of articulation features are dependent to glottal and vowel features. These results were interpreted to show that speech perception is not abstract and discrete, but nonlinear, and that the perception of features corresponds to the hierarchical organization of articulatory features which is suggested in nonlinear phonology (Clements, 1991; Browman and Goldstein, 1989).

EA 거버넌스와 EA 역량에 관한 실증적 연구 : 공공기관을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on EA Governance and EA Competency of Public Agencies)

  • 최근 정보시스템의 중복투자 방지와 상호운영성 증대를 위해서 효율적이고 체계적으로 정보자원관리(IRM)를 위해 EA(Enterprise Architecture)를 도입 활용하고 있으며, 이러한 EA를 더욱 성과지향적으로 통제관리하기 위해 EA 거버넌스를 도입하고 있는 가운데 본 연구에서는 국내 공공기관의 EA 거버넌스 수준과 EA 역량에 대한 관련성을 실증적으로 수행하였다. EA를 도입 활용하는 정보화 부서에 종사하는 총190명을 대상으로 관련 가설을 수립하여 구조방정식을 이용하여 통계적으로 검증하였다. 그 결과, EA 거버넌스의 EA기능 프로세스, EA 조직과 인력 수준 모두 도입 후 EA관리와 활용 역량에는 영향을 미치지만 EA 조직과 인력 수준이 EA 수립에는 그 다지 영향을 미치지 못하는 것은 대부분의 공공기관들이 처음 EA 도입구축 시 관련 예산 부족 등으로 전문 인력 미확보와 전담 조직을 미처 갖추지 못하고 외부 전문가에 의존한 결과라고 볼 수 있다. 특히 EA 거버넌스가 단계적으로 EA수립 역량의 수준에 따라 두 번째 단계인 EA관리 역량에 영향을 미치고, 또한 EA관리 역량의 수준이 세 번째 EA활용 역량에 충분히 영향을 주는 것으로 검증결과가 규명되었다.

유아교사의 개인특성과 유아교육기관 특성이 유아교육기관의 질에 미치는 영향: 유아교실의 질을 향상시키기 위한 조건 (Effects of Personal Backgrounds and Institutional Characteristics of Teachers on the Quality of Early Childhood Education and Care: The Conditions for Improving the Quality Classroom)

  • 본 연구에서는 유아교육과 보육의 질을 그동안 유아교사의 학력과 자격에 중점을 두어왔던 전통적인 패러다임을 비판적으로 분석하고, 유아교육과 보육의 질을 향상시키기 위한 조건들을 탐색하고자 하였다. 교사의 학력과 경력, 기관유형과 학급규모, 교육과정 편성유형을 독립변수로 하고, 유아교실의 질에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 유아교실의 질은 유아교육기관 운영의 질, 유아교육과정의 질, 상호작용의 질로 구성하였다. 연구방법으로는 설문조사를 통한 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 유아교실의 질에는 유아교사의 개인특성변수인 경력이나 학력보다는 기관유형이나 학급규모와 같은 기관특성변수의 영향력이 보다 중요한 것으로 보고되었다. 또한 사립보다 국공립으로 갈수록 유아교육기관의 질이 높았다. 유아교실의 질을 구성하는 유아교육기관 운영의 질, 유아교육과정의 질, 상호작용의 질의 변수에서 공통적으로 기관유형변수의 설명력이 보다 높은 것으로 일관되게 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과에 근거하여 정책적 시사점과 추후 연구방안을 제시하였다.

사무직 근로자의 사회심리적 업무환경과 자기효능감이 정신건강에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Psychosocial Work Environment and Self-efficacy on Mental Health of Office Workers)

  • Purpose: This study aims to assess the effects of psychosocial work environment and self-efficacy on stress, depression, and burn-out among office workers. Methods: Survey data were collected from 331 office workers who worked in one workplace from April 10 to 30, 2012. The impact of psychosocial work environment and self-efficacy on stress, depression, and burn-out was analyzed with hierarchical multiple regression using SAS version 9.3. Results: Work-family conflicts and emotional demands were identified as main factors influencing mental health. Other work environment factors influencing mental health were role clarity for stress, possibilities for development, meaning-of work, social support-from supervisors and job insecurity for depression, and social community at work for burn-out. Self-efficacy was correlated with most psychosocial work environment and factor with independent influence on stress and depression. The final models including general characteristics, psychosocial work environment, and self-efficacy accounted for 34%, 44%, and 36% for stress, depression, and burn-out respectively. Conclusion: To promote mental health in office workers, there is a need to decrease work-family conflicts and emotional demands and to improve work organization and job contents, social support, and self-efficacy.

네덜란드 도시 집합주택의 공공성과 개별성 표현특성에 관한 연구 - 암스테르담 부두재개발 주택단지 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on Design Representation of Publicity and Privacy in Dutch Multi-family Housing - Focused on an Analysis of Eastern Dockland Projects in Amsterdam -)

  • This study attempts to suggest new directions of urban multi-family housing design in the recent era of information, in which the representation of publicity and privacy of the housing reflects new meanings and relationships of the current digital society. The study examines cases of Dutch multi-family housing and investigates the meanings and relationships of publicity and privacy in the building as well as unit design of the housings. Borneo-Sporenburg housing development is a good example that suggests new interpretation and design solution for low-rise, high-density multi-family housing. Thus, this study analyzes street patterns, facade design, and ways of housing unit combination in Borneo-Sporenburg housing and concludes as follows. First, public space in Borneo-Sporenburg housing, which was designed differently from hierarchical and centripetal organization of modern architecture, is divided into small units and spread into the inside, which provides high potential for personal control of space and personal programming of space by space choices. Second, street pattern and facade design of Borneo-Sporenburg housing provide visual publicity and privacy simultaneously as they maintain unity as a whole as well as articulate individual unit in many different ways and provide clues to neighboring. Streets as a public domain have self-controlled boundaries for residents and introduce voluntary use-programs for residents. Third, facades of the housing have no inter-mediate space or common space, and confront streets directly. Space in-between is composed inside the facade and extends into the streets by residents' own choices. Fourth, privacy and individuality of the housing is strengthened. Units of the housing have individual entrances, unique plan type and complicated combination of space that all together emphasize individuality of units, however they are not often notified from the outside.

  • According to the increase of organizational complexity and the change of rapid information technology environment, many firms have shifted their information technology(IT) strategy from developing information systems in-house to purchasing application software such as Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) Systems. Marketing and Sales functions within a Korean automotive part company include developing new assembly products, determining pricing, taking customer's orders, and shipping assembly products to customers. Marketing and Sales Information System(MSIS) in ERP system plays an important role in next Production Planning process. MSIS also makes management reporting and decision making faster and more uniform throughout an organization. MSIS promotes thinking about corporate goals, as opposed to thinking only about the goals of a single department or functional area. This paper intends to design and implement a MSIS in ERP systems for Korean automotive part company using object-oriented methodology In order to accomplish the implementation of MSIS in ERP system, we employed UML as its standard modeling language. In this study, four diagramming techniques such as use case diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, component diagram among eight modeling techniques are used for analyzing hierarchical business process. In traditional marketing and sales function, a company with an unintegrated information system can have marketing and sales data that is data redundant or inaccurate. MSIS integrated in ERP system can solve the sales forecast problem, which minimizes the total costs of production, inventory, and transportation under constraints of production capacity. Also, the use of UML methodology makes S/W programmers shorten the phase of analysis and design in the implementation of MSIS system, and increase the reuse of software and the interoperability with corporate internal Information system.

목포항 요트산업 개발과 운영 주체 선정 (Assessment of Development and Opertation for Maritime Leisure in Mokpo Port using SWOT&AHP)

  • 본 연구에서는 목포항의 요트산업 운영과 개발에 관한 평가를 위한 평가모델을 제안하고자 한다. 이러한 평가를 위해 본 연구에서 제안한 모델은 SWOT와 AHP법을 통합하였다. 본 연구에서는 평가를 위해 ISM법에 의해 평가요소를 구조화한다. 그리고 계층구조는 5단계이며 3단계부터는 SWOT법이 적용된다. 또한 평가를 위해 SWOT법에서 S, W는 내부적요소로, O, T 는 내부적 요소로 구분하였다. 또한 개발 및 운영의 관점은 경제적인 관점과 해양 레져관광 개발의 두 관점을 고려하였다. 개발 및 운영주체는 제3섹터, 민간과 지자체로 구분하였다. 그 결과 강점과 기회가 우선순위가 높게 나타났고 제3섹터에 의한 개발과 운영이 선호되는 것으로 나타났다.
