인적자원관리가 지식공유에 미치는 영향 : 공유비전과 코드의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Human Resource Practices and Knowledge Sharing : The Mediating Role of Shared Vision and Codes)

  • This research investigated the effect of human resource practices on knowledge sharing. We developed and tested a mediation model of how human resource practices affect shared vision and codes which facilitates knowledge sharing. A field study of the R&D centers in knowledge-intensive industries showed that commitment-based human resource management systems were positively related to shared vision and codes and knowledge sharing, and the relationship between HR practices and knowledge sharing was fully mediated through shared vision and codes. This study contributed to the extant literature pertaining to the antecedents of knowledge sharing through focusing on the role of HR practices and shared vision and codes.

  • 인적자원관리와 지식공유는 조직의 성과향상을 위해 필수적인 전략으로서 매우 중요한 연구주제임에도 불구하고 이들 개념간의 연계고리를 밝히고자 하는 연구는 매우 적었다. 본 연구에서는 지방정부를 대상으로, 인적자원관리와 지식공유 그리고 조직내부성과간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 인적자원관리는 지식공유에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 지식공유는 인적자원관리를 부분적으로 매개하여 조직의 내부성과에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • The current study attempts to provide the field of knowledge management with theoretical grounds from the perspective of social network, resource dependency, and institutional theory. Social network theory considers that knowledge management plays a critical role in organizational innovation through the process of knowledge sharing/creation, communication systems, and a cooperative culture and trust, whereas resource dependency perceives knowledge management as contributing to cost reduction through the process of knowledge capture/storage, database systems, and reward/incentive systems. Plus, from the perspective of institutionalization, this study discusses that organizations can not benefit from knowledge management if it is adopted with the motive of isomorphic change. Finally, this study compares and integrates the three perspectives, and discusses the implications and limitations.

  • In recent years, knowledge has emerged as a major source of competitive advantage due to the continuous development of information and communication technology, the acceleration of globalization, and the entry into knowledge-based society. Thus interests in knowledge management have been increased significantly. Nevertheless theoretical backgrounds of knowledge management are not actively discussed. Studies on the knowledge management of R&D groups initiating knowledge creation and sharing are not actively conducted either. This study, therfore, provides a research model of knowledge management to investigate relationships among resource and institutional characteristics, knowledge management activities, and knowledge management performance of R&D groups based on knowledge-based theories and institutionalization theories. This study further offers research propositions inherent in the model.

  • Increasing competitive pressure, the constantly accelerating transformation of the economy, and a stronger focus on value creation have initiated the search for sustainable sources of competitive advantage in organizations. In this context, the concept of treating organizational knowledge as a valuable strategic resource has become quite popular recently. Knowledge has become the most critical component in the struggle for sustained competitive advantage and knowledge management (KM) has also been described for its possible role in creating sustainable competitive advantage. In order to examine the contingency between KM resources, KM strategies, and KM performance of organizations, a contingency model of KM, which is based on resource-based theory as well as knowledge-based theory, is developed from the information systems and strategic management literature in order to assess the following questions: (i) What KM resources affect the organization's KM strategies? (ii) Is there a relationship between KM strategies and organizational performance enhanced by KM? A detailed exploratory analysis of survey responses from 79 Korean companies provides the following significant findings: (i) This study found support for the proposed contingency model of KM; (ii) The organization's KM strategies are determined by social resources and its capabilities; (iii) An organization with a culture-based KM strategy is more likely to enhance organizational KM performance than an organization with a technology-based KM strategy.

국가 지식정보자원의 전략적 연계 체제 구축에 관한 고찰 (National Information Strategies to Integrate the Dispersed Information and Knowledge Resource)

  • 본 연구는 선진국이나 경쟁국에 비해 열악한 우리나라 국가 지식정보자원의 총량을 제고하여 그 활용을 극대화할 수 있도록 국가차원에서 지식정보자원의 전략적 연계 체제를 구축하는데 목적을 두고자 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 고찰하고자 하는 내용은 다음과 같다 첫째, 우리나라가 국가차원에서 지식정보자원의 연계전략을 수립할 필요성을 살펴보고, 둘째, 현재 국가 지식정보자원관리체제의 현상과 문제점을 도출하며, 셋째, 이를 바탕으로 지식정보자원의 자원유형별, 관리기관별 특성에 따른 국가 예산의 효율적 집행을 위한 전략적 연계 방안을 마련하며, 넷째, 이러한 결과들을 근거로 우리나라의 바람직한 지식정보자원의 전략적 연계체제를 구축하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 이 연구는 문헌정보와 아카이브적 측면에서 학생독립운동의 지식정보자원관리에 대한 효율적인 자료수집, 자료해제, DB구축과 아카이브를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구는 학생독립운동과 지식정보자원 관련 문헌적 고찰과 일제식민지 치하 학생독립운동 시발과 그 운동과정에서 생성된 자료들의 유통과 이들 자료들이 어떻게 관리되고 있는지에 대한 실제적 조사로 이루어졌다. 이들은 운동과 투옥 그리고 재판의 과정에서 다양한 문헌정보를 생산했으며 이것을 기반으로 정보자원관리와 아카이브가 이루어지고 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 학생독립운동의 지식정보자원에 대한 가치와 역량을 나타내고 진일보한 학생독립운동 연구와 발전에 기여하게 될 것이다.

다각화된 기업의 기술혁신과 조직화 방식 : 지식기반이론 관점을 중심으로 (Organizing Mechanisms and Technological Innovation in Diversified Corporations : A Perspective of Knowledge-based Theory of the Firm)

  • This paper presents a knowledge-based view of the multi-business firm. The multi-business firm has advantages in technological innovation and knowledge creation to the extent that it embodies various ideas and resources, and recombines them more effectively and efficiently than market contracts. The purpose of this paper is to identify how to organize the multidivisional form (M-form) structure to realize such advantages. We first differentiate within-division innovation and cross-division innovation, and explain why cross-division innovation, despite its higher performance potential, would be more difficult to achieve, compared to within-division innovation. Then, we offer the propositions about how to promote cross-division innovation with references to resource capability and coordination capability that is, in turn, composed of structural and control system, social capital, and human resource management system. We conclude by discussing theoretical and practical implications.

  • 조직 내 지식공유 및 지식활용의 주체는 조직구성원 개인이라는 점에서 지식관리전략을 논할 때, 인적자원관리와 지식관리의 관계성 논의는 매우 절실하다. 본 연구에서는 지방정부를 대상으로, 인적자원 관리의 세부영역인 교육훈련, 의사결정에의 참여, 성과평가 및 보상제도와 지식공유 및 지식활용과의 영향관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 교육훈련, 평가 및 보상제도가 중요한 요인으로 나타났으며, 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 정부조직의 지식공유와 활용에 있어서의 정책적 시사점을 논의하고 있다.

도시주부의 환경지식과 자원절약태도가 자원절약행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Urban Housewives′ Environmental Knowledge and Family Resource Management Attitude on Family Resource Management Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study were, (1) to analyze the effect of the selected variables on urban housewives' family resource management attitude and behavior, and (2) to identify the casual effects of variables on family resource management behavior. A sample of 641 was selected from housewives living in urban area. For data analysis, one-way ANOVA, DMR test, t-test, multiple regression, and path analysis were used. The major findings were as follows: 1. The housewives' family resource management behavior level was lower than their attitude level. 2. The family resource management attitude and behavior among the respondents were affected by the following independent variables : interest with environmental reports and newspapers, perception of time constraints, perception of economic reward. 3. The family resource management attitude had the greatest causal effect on the family resource management behavior.
