  • 스마트 폰, 태블릿 PC와 같은 이동단말기기와 다양한 무선통신 기술의 발전으로 차세대 이동통신망은 다양한 액세스 네트워크들이 공존한다. 다양한 네트워크에서의 서비스 연속성 및 네트워크 상황에 따른 서비스 품질 저하, 그리고 EPC 망의 트래픽 과부하 현상은 여전히 문제로 남아있다. 본 논문에서는 EPC 망에서 측정된 QoS 정보에 따라 트래픽 경로 선택 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방안을 통해 효율적인 네트워크 활용 방안과 최상의 핸드오버 방안을 제공할 수 있으며 사용자에게는 네트워크 상황에 따른 최적의 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

Sertoli Cell Tumor Accompanied by Pancytopenia in a Dog

  • 11 year old male Yorkshire terrier was referred to Haemaru Referral Animal Hospital with signs of hematuria, petechia, and gynecomastia. Blood works revealed severe leukopenia, moderate anemia and severe thrombocytopenia. On ultrasonography and radiography, mixed echo texture mass was found in abdomen. The abdominal mass was surgically removed, and submitted for histopathology. Histopathologic features of the tissues were consistent with malignant Sertoli cell tumor. Bone marrow aspirates were hypocellular. Serum estrogen concentration was 72.80 pg/ml (normal range for females <15 pg/ml) after surgery. Clinical signs of feminization and hemorrhagic diathesis were attributed to hyperestrinism caused by the tumor. The dog was put on fluid therapy, antibiotics and palliative drugs and survived 2 more weeks after surgery without clinical improvement.

  • A LC/MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of the activities of seven major human drug-metabolizing cytochrome P450s (CYP3A4. CYP2D6. CYP2C9. CYP1A2, CYP2C19, CYP2A6. and CYP2C8) was developed. This method used an in vitro cocktail of specific substrates (midazolam. bufuralol. diclofenac, ethoxyresorufin. S-mephenYlOin. coumarin. and paclitaxel) and LC/MS/MS. The assay incubation time is 20 min and the analysis time is 8 min/sample. (omitted)

  • Propofol is an anesthetic commonly used to provide sedation or to induce and maintain an anesthetic stated. However, there are reports which indicate propofol may cause psychological dependence or be abused. In the present study, we used various behavioral tests including climbing test, jumping test, conditioned place preference, and self-administration test to assess the dependence potential and abuse liability of propofol compared to a positive control (methamphetamine) or a negative control (saline or intralipid). Among the tests, the conditioned place preference test was conducted with a biased method, and the selfadministration test was performed under a fixed ratio (FR) 1 schedule, 1 h per session. No difference was found in the climbing test and jumping test, but propofol (30 mg/kg, i.p.) increased the rewarding effect in the conditioned place preference test, and it showed a positive reinforcing effect compared to the vehicle. These results indicate that propofol tends to show psychological dependence rather than physical dependence, and it seems not to be related with dopaminergic system.

LC-MS Determination and Bioavailability Study of Imidapril Hydrochloride after the Oral Administration of Imidapril Tablets in Human Volunteers

  • The purpose of the present study was to develop a standard protocol for imidapril hydrochloride bioequivalence testing. For this reason, a specific LC-MS method was developed and validated for the determination of imidapril in human plasma. A solid-phase extraction cartridge, $Sep-pak^{R}$ C18, was used to extract imidapril and ramipril (an internal standard) from deproteinized plasma. The compounds were separated using a XTerra $MS^{R}$?C18 column ($3.5 {\mu}m, 2.1\times150 mm$) and $acetonitrile-0.1\%$ formic acid (67:33, v/v) adjusted to pH 2.4 by 2 mmol/L ammonium formic acid, as mobile phase at 0.3 mL/min. Imidapril was detected as m/z 406 at a retention time of ca. 2.3 min, and ramipril as m/z 417 at ca. 3.6 min. The described method showed acceptable specificity, linearity from 0.5 to 100 ng/mL, precision (expressed as a relative standard deviation of less than $15\%$), accuracy, and stability. The plasma concentration-versus-time curves of eight healthy male volunteers administered a single dose of imidapril (10 mg), gave an $AUC_{12hr}$ of imidapril of $121.48\pm35.81 ng mL^{-1} h$, and $C_{max} and T_{max}$ values of $32.59\pm9.76 ng/mL and 1.75\pm0.27 h$. The developed method should be useful for the determination of imidapril in plasma with sufficient sensitivity and specificity in bioequivalence study.

Effects of Emotional Labor, Emotional Intelligence and Social Support on Job Stress in Clinical Nurses (임상 간호사의 감정노동, 감성지능 및 사회적 지지가 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional labor, emotional intelligence and social support on job stress in clinical nurses. Methods: Participants were 123 clinical nurses and data were collected from October to December, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. Results: A positive correlation was found between job stress and emotional labor. Emotional labor showed a significant negative correlation with emotional intelligence and social support, whereas a positive correlation was found between emotional intelligence and social support. The strongest predictor of job stress was emotional labor. In addition, institution satisfaction (dissatisfaction) and the reason for selecting the job (opportunities for service) accounted for 21% of variance in job stress. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is important to manage emotional labor as well as to improve job satisfaction in order to reduce job stress in clinical nurses.
