In this study we investigated the effect of hydroxybrazilin on glutathione depletion induced by BrCCl$_3$ and menadione in cultured hepatocytes to understand the cellular mechanisms of hepatoprotective effect of hydroxybrazilin. Hydroxybrazilin alone had no effect on total glutathione level and the ratio of reduced glutathione/total glutathione (GSH/(GSSG+GSH)). BrCCl$_3$ dramatically decreased total glutathione level and hydroxybrazilin significantly prevented glutathion depletion by BrCCl$_3$. The ratio of GSH/(GSSG+ GSH) was also decreased by BrCCl$_3$ and recovered by hydroxybrazilin treatment. Menadione decreased total glutathione level and the ratio of GSH/(GSSG+GSH) but hydroxybrazilin showed no significant effects on menadione-induced glutathione depletion. These data suggest that hydroxybrazilin might prevent the hepatotoxicity induced by chemicalderived radicals but not the toxicity linked with oxidative stress.

This case study was reported to show the effects of Seongnoe-gaegyubeop acupuncture treatment. The methods were applied to patients who had the sequela of cerebral vescular accident(CVA) and had no progression for 3~6 months after the onset of CVA. The patients had no progression in spite of receiving medical treatment for 3~6 months after the onset of CVA. The patients were treated with Seongnoe-gaegyubeop acupuncture treatment. The patient's standing, sitting state and activities of daily life like dressing, feeding etc were assessed by Berg balance scale, Barthel Index and Manual Muscle Testing. After 3 months of this treatment, the standing, sitting state and activities of daily life were improved. I think that acupuncture treatment of Seongnoe-gaegyubeop is effective treatment method to treat the patient who caused the sequela of CVA.

Objectives : Although Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul is important for acupuncture treatment in emergency and has been widely used, but there is few study about that, except some comments in ancient literatures. So in this study, the author reviewed the Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul, investigating the composition and the function, and found the meaning with analysis based on meridian. Methods : 1. The author reviewed several ancient literatures related with the Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul. 2. The author investigated the composition of Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul, and the location, acupuncture treatment, specificity, disease of each acupoint. 3. Following the investigation, the author found the meaning, the mechanism of function, and the clinical usefulness, based on analysis with meridian. Results : 1. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul had been referred in "Chim Gu Chwei Young" for the first time. 2. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul is composed of 9 acupoints, i.e. 1 acupoint of Governor Vessel, 1 acupoint of Conception Vessel, 2 acupoints of Yang Myoung meridian, 1 acupoint of So Yang meridian, 1 acupoint of Tae Eum meridian, 2 acupoints of So Eum meridian, 1 acupoint of Gwel Eum meridian. 3. It has not been controversial since the comment of "Chim Gu Chwei Young", and it became the origin. Conclusions : 1. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul can be used for an emergency resulted from chronic disease based on heart failure and accumulation of food.

Hydrogen is expected to be widely applied in most sectors within the current energy system, such as transportation and logistics, and is expected to be economically and technologically utilized as a power source to achieve vehiclebon emission reduction. In particular, the construction of hydrogen charging station infrastructure will not only support the distribution of hydrogen electric vehicles, but also play an important role in building a hydrogen logistics system. Therefore, This paper suggest additional charging infrastructure areas in Seoul with a focus on supply according to the annual average growth rate (CAGR), centering on Seoul, where hydrogen vehicles are most widely distributed. As of February 2022, hydrogen charging infrastructures were installed in Gangseo-gu, Gangdong-gu, Mapo-gu, Jung-gu, and Seocho-gu in downtown Seoul. Next, looking at the number of hydrogen vehicles by administrative dong in Seoul from 2018 to 2022, Seocho-gu has the most with 246 as of 2022, and Dongjak-gu has the highest average growth rate of 215.4% with a CAGR of 215.4%. Therefore, as a result of CAGR analysis, Dongjak-gu is expected to supply the most hydrogen vehicles in the future, and Seocho-gu currently has the most hydrogen vehicles, so it is likely that additional hydrogen charging infrastructure will be needed between Dongjak-gu and Seocho-gu.

18세기 초 중인(中人) 홍정하(洪正夏)($1684{\sim}?$)의 구일집(九一集)과 양반(兩班) 조태구(趙泰耉)($1660{\sim}1723$)의 주서관견(籌書管見)에 들어 있는 구고술(句股術)을 조사한다. 구조적 접근과 천원술(天元術)을 통하여 홍정하(洪正夏)는 동양(東洋)에서 가장 앞선 구고술(句股術)의 결과를 얻어내었다. 또 17세기 중엽에 서양(西洋) 수학(數學)이 조선(朝鮮)에 유입된 후 조선(朝鮮) 산학(算學)에 이론적 접근이 이루어지는 과정을 조태구(趙泰耉)의 구고술(句股術)을 통하여 연구한다.

Citizen participation or resident participation is perceived as an effective way to correspond to the diverse urban problems, especially in the area of residential environment improvement projects and community activities. As the leading city of the Honam region and a core middle city leading the development of the southwestern region, Gwangju city is planning and under-developing new Housing Complexes and Urban Renewal Projects. The purpose of this study is to identify the perception of Gwangju citizens on resident participation in community activities to suggest diverse strategies for improving quality of citizen's life and making better living environment. For the research purpose, 1,380 questionnaires were distributed to the Gwangju citizens who live in 5 autonomous districts -Dong-gu, Seo-gu, Nam-gu, Buk-gu, and Gwangsan-gu- and 601 were used in data analysis. Although citizens in Dong-gu showed the lowest settlement consciousness, they required the highest level of need for resident self-help activities. Contrastingly, Seo-gu showed the highest level of settlement consciousness and the lowest need for resident self-help activities. Based on the results, high quality community facility should be provided to promote residential satisfaction and consciousness of residential participation and self-help activity must be improved. And also, diverse strategies for resident participation including development of resident education programs and search for regional resources should be covered in further research.

This article statistically analyzed contributive levels of district image based on an effect and a similarity index through the evaluation of citizens and suggested the efficient management system of a city image according to the results. For this study, Busan City was selected as a case city by the preceding literature and was investigated concerning district image and city image through a questionnaire. The new evaluation method for analysis of a city image was presented in this process. The results of this research are as follows: 1. Busan City has a substantial positive and culturally unique image, and each of its districts have other image characteristics. for example, the CBD district has a positive image, and the sea shore district has a busy and prosperous image, but the backward sea shore district has an image of stagnancy. 2. The image of Yeonje-gu has the largest effect on the image of Busan. Next in influence are Jung-gu, Saha-gu, Suyoung-gu, respectively. The effect index is closely connected with the variance of evaluative adjectives. 3. Busanjin-gu and Haeundae-gu have similar images to Busan City. Next in similarity are Nam-gu, Jung-gu, Youngdo-gu, Suyoung-gu, respectively. The similarity index is closely connected with the correlation of evaluative adjectives. Busan City and its districts can establish their image strategies with the above analyzed results. This study is meaningful in that a statistical evaluative method was proposed. With continued follow-up research, this study may serve as a systematic and logical model to improve the urban landscape and image.
