Opens the construction market recently, the construction industry of Korea has faced up to the barrier of globalism, and has been enforced to follow the various global standards in many aspects. Accordingly, it is expected that the test method related to the cement and concrete will be changed to conform to the international standards in Korea. Therefore, in this study, the strength tests are executed for the cement mortars, made by KS and ISO standards respectively, and then obtains such results. 1) The flow of the cement mortar according to ISO is about 8% higher ,than that of KS. 2) The flexural strength of the cement mortar according to ISO is about 10~20% higher than that of KS, and the compressive strength is about 30% higher. 3) The compressive strength relation between the cement mortars of KS and ISO may be expressed in the first-order recurrence formula as follows: Y = 1.33X - 8 In which X is the compressive strength(kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$) of the mortar according to KS and Y is the compressive strength(kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$) of the mortar according to ISO.

As one of the most widely used assistive technology devices for the disabled in Korea, the powered wheelchair conforms to KS P ISO 7176-5 standard size which uses original version of international standard, ISO 7176-5 without technological modification. However, the international standard is not suitable for the disabled in Korea because it defines the size of wheelchair based on the body size of foreigners, which causes imbalanced posture due to limitation of movement or rotation of pelvis, pressure ulcer incidence due to excessive pressure on the thigh or popliteal space and calf, and safety of reduction due to improper posture. This study suggested the guidance of size for powered wheelchair based on human body size examined by Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, showing a great difference from the size defined in KS P ISO 7176-5 and accordingly redefinition for the size of powered wheelchair is needed.

The objective of this paper is to provide integrated Korea industrial standards(KS) for concrete aggregates, which has been separately provided with ten kinds of KS, in order to improve the way of quality management of concrete aggregate and to prevent distribution of unsuitable aggregates. For the sequences of the paper, typical foreign standards related to concrete aggregates including ASTM for US, EN for EU, JIS for Japan are reviewed and compared to provide necessities and feasibilities of the paper. Based on the analysis above results, existing KS for concrete aggregates, which have been separately provided with ten kinds being lack of correlation between each KS is integrated to KS F 2526 "Aggregates for concrete" in this paper. By doing this, in terms of terminology, the expression of the aggregate, which has been currently classified into specified terminologies of aggregates depending on sources, manufacturing methods of each aggregates, is able to be integrated to single expression of the aggregate for concrete. It is believed that integrated KS presented herein provides more desirable way in terms of its better accessibility, easier revision and closer connection between each aggregate kinds.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the material characteristics of SHN400 steel, which is suitable as a steel material for building structures, using the experimental approach. For this purpose, the chemical composition test, tensile test, macro test, micro test, and charpy notch impact test were conducted with specimens taken from the highest, thickest, and commonly used H-beams for girder or beam members. Each test was conducted under the Korean Standard(KS) test conditions. All the test results satisfied the requirements of KS (KS D 3866) and the steel material for seismic design. The carbon equivalent value (Ceq), which is related to weldability, and the yield ratio, which is related to inelastic behavior, showed especially good results. Thus, SHN400 is definitely suitable as the steel material for building structures.
