Chua's circuit is a simple electronic network which exhibits a variety of bifurcation and attractors. The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper we analyze a circuit obtained by replacing the parallel LC resonator in the Chua's circuit by lossless transmission line. By using the method of characteristics of this circuit we show that various periodic motions and chaotic motions can the attained according to parameter variations. From Chua's circuit with a lossless transmission line, a variety of chaotic attractors which are similar to those of the normal Chua's circuit are observed.

In this paper, fuzzy logic system equipped with the back-propagation training algorithm as identifiers for nonlinear dynamic systems is described. To improve its performance, Jacob's delta-bar -delta rule is adapted in adjusting stepsize ${\alpha}$, and only y and ${\alpha}$ updating algorithm is suggested. In identifying and predicting the chaotic time series, suggested method is better than Li-Xin Wang's method,[1]

A fuzzy controller is based on o fuzzy logic that is so effective to represent uncertain phenomena of real world end mote its approximation. In this paper, A fuzzy controller which equipped with adaptive control algorithm is described. Proposed fuzzy controller applied to a boll on boon system shows a good performance.

Canonical Chua's circuit is a simple electronic circuit which exhibits a variety of bifurcation phenomena and attractors. It consists of two capacitors, an inductor, two linear resistors, and a nonlinear resistor. When the circuit exhibits chaotic signals, the nonlinear resistor of canonical Chua's circuit may have three different voltage - current characteristics. In this paper, the design methodology for practical implementation of the nonlinear resistors which have all these characteristics is described. In addition, the effectiveness of result is shown by not only the MATLAB simulation but also the PSPICE simulation.

The analysis of distribution line faults is essential to the proper protections of the power system. A high impedance fault does not make enough current to cause conventional protective devices. It is well known that undesirable operating conditions and certain types of faults on electric distribution feeders cannot be detected by using conventional protection system. This paper describes an algorithm using back-propagation neural network for pattern recognition and detection of high impedance faults. Fractal dimensions are estimated for distinction between random noise and chaotic behavior in the power system. The fractal dimension of the line current is also used as a indication of the high impedance fault.

국내 도서관(圖書館) 및 정보기관(情報機關)이 소장하고 있는 외국학술잡지(外國學術雜誌)의 현황을 파악하고, 그 문제점을 제시하였다. 현황파악은 산업기술정보원(産業技術情報院)이 제작한 "외국학술잡지종합(外國學術雜誌綜合) 목록(目錄):과학기술편(科學技術篇)" 데이터베이스를 근거로 하였고, 그 문제점으로는 국내 소장자료가 부족하다는 것과, 그럼에도 불구하고 중복율(重複率)이 높다는 것, 그리고 기관 간의 협력이 미비(末備)하다는 점들이 지적되었다.

본 연구(硏究)는 불 정보 시스템의 단점을 보완하는 방법으로 퍼지 논리(論理)를 이용한 정보검색시스템을 설계하였다. 퍼지 정보검색 시스템은 질의어(質疑語)와 문헌들을 표현하는 각 용어(用語)들에 가중치(加重値)를 부여하고, 이것을 바탕으로 질의어에 대한 각 문헌들의 적합도(適合度)를 결정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 연구들을 비교 분석한 후, 효과적인 모델을 제시하고 시스템 성능을 평가하였다.

본 연구에서는 산업기술정보원과 연구개발정보센터의 통합으로 출범한 한국과학기술정보연구원의 국가 대표 정보서비스 기관으로서 지녀야 할 역할을 정립한 후, 이를 바탕으로 국가 과학기술산업정보시스템의 모형을 설정하고 있다. 이러한 역할을 도출하기 위해 과학기술산업정보서비스의 의의를 파악하고, 국내외 정보서비스기관들의 기능들을 분석하고 있다.

본(本) 연구(硏究)는 정보자료(情報資料)의 선택과 평가에 관련된 이론과 도서관에 응용된 사례를 중심으로 고찰한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 정보자료의 선택과 평가에 관한 선행연구를 통계적(統計的) 평가방법(評價方法), 비용(費用) 대(對) 효과(效果)의 방법, 전문가 시스템 방법의 3가지 유형으로 구분하였다. 또한 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 정보자료의 선택과 평가를 위하여 개발된 전문가 시스템의 이론적 배경과 응용시스템의 개발현황(開發現況)과 전망에 대하여 고찰하였다.
