회전점프-착지 시 회전방향이 안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effects on Stability of Rotational Direction after Rotational Jump-Landings)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of three rotational jump conditions (standing jump, left rotational jump and right rotational jump) on stability through center of pressure (COP) and EMG variables analysis. Method: A total of 16 college students (age: 24.13 ± 7.17 years, height: 169.24 ± 8.23 cm, weight: 65.65 ± 13.88 kg) participated in this study. The study used wireless two COP plates and wireless eight channel EMG. The analyized variables were 11 variables for COP and RMS for EMG, which were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance with repeated measures according to three rotational jump conditions. Results: Among the COP variables, left rotational jump (LRJ) and right rotational jump (RRJ) were larger than standing jump (SJ) for left and right amplitude, area, total displacement, and average velocity for both feet among the variables of COP, and for area of the left foot, RRJ was larger than that of SJ. Among the EMG variables, there was no statistical difference between the muscle activations, but the muscle activity was significantly higher in the order of RRJ, LRJ, and SJ according to direction of rotation. Conclusion: Although the results of COP and EMG were not consistent through this study, it can be expected that the differences in COP was due to the amount of rotation during rotational jump-landing in the left and right directions, and that the EMG is determined by the lateral movements required for rotation.

Bootstrap Bandwidth Selection Methods for Local Linear Jump Detector

  • Local linear jump detection in a discontinuous regression function involves the choice of the bandwidth and the performance of a local linear jump detector depends heavily on the choice of the bandwidth. However, little attention has been paid to this important issue. In this paper we propose two fully data adaptive bandwidth selection methods for a local linear jump detector. The performance of the proposed methods are investigated through a simulation study.

  • Local smoothing jump detection procedure is a popular method for detecting jump locations and the performance of the jump detector heavily depends on the choice of the bandwidth. However, little work has been done on this issue. In this paper, we propose the bootstrap bandwidth selection method which can be used for any kernel-based or local polynomial-based jump detector. The proposed bandwidth selection method is fully data-adaptive and its performance is evaluated through a simulation study and a real data example.

가상현실 기반 자세조절 융합 훈련이 기능적 발목 불안정성 축구선수들의 균형과 점프에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Virtual Reality Based Neuromuscular Postural Control Fusion Training on Balance Ability and Jump Performance of Soccer Players with Functional Ankle Instability)

  • 본 연구에서는 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련을 이용하여 기능적 발목 불안정성을 가진 축구선수들의 균형 능력과 점프 수행력에 미치는 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 축구선수는 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련군 15명과 일반적인 트레드밀 훈련군 15명으로 나누어 8주간 주 3회, 30분간 시행하였고, 균형 능력을 평가하기 위해 Biorescue를 이용하여 신체 중심 이동면적, 총 궤적길이, 안정성 한계를 측정하였다. 점프 수행력을 측정하기 위해 Counter movement jump with arm swing과 제자리 멀리 뛰기를 측정하였다. 균형 능력 비교에서는 신체 중심 이동면적과 총 궤적 길이 및 안정선한계에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고, 점프 수행력 비교에서는 Counter movement jump with arm swing과 제자리 멀리 뛰기에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이에 따라 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련이 일반적인 트레드밀 훈련 보다 균형 능력과 점프 수행력을 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

학업부진 전문대학생을 위한 지원 프로그램의 효과 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of the Support Program for Underachieving Junior College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학업부진 전문대학생을 위한 집중 지원 프로그램이 학생들의 학습동기 및 자기학습효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하고 의미를 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구는 부산광역시 D대학교 교수학습개발센터가 학사경고자 및 성적부진 학생들을 대상으로 지원한 JUMP-UP 프로그램에 참여한 46명의 학생을 대상으로 진행되었다. 본 연구의 연구문제는 첫째, JUMP-UP 프로그램은 전문대학생의 학습동기 강화에 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, JUMP-UP 프로그램은 전문대학생의 자기학습효능감에 영향을 미치는가?이다. JUMP-UP 프로그램 참여 전·후 설문조사를 실시하여 효과성을 살펴본 결과 JUMP-UP 프로그램은 참여 학습자의 학습동기와 자기학습효능감 모든 항목에서 통계적으로 유의미한 변화를 나타내었다. 이를 통하여 JUMP-UP 프로그램과 같은 집중 지원 프로그램은 학업부진을 겪는 전문대학생의 학습동기 및 자기학습효능감 향상에 적합한 지원 프로그램으로 가치가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

스마트폰 가속도계를 이용한 점프동작 자동인식 촬영 (Taking a Jump Motion Picture Automatically by using Accelerometer of Smart Phones)

  • 본 논문에서는 자동으로 점프 동작을 인식하여 촬영하기 위한 점프 동작 인식 알고리즘을 제안하고, 가속도계가 장착된 스마트폰을 이용하여 촬영 시스템을 구현한다. 점프 동작은 개인의 신체적, 성별, 연령별 특성에 따라 다르기 때문에, 이들 특성에 비 의존적인 공통점을 감지할 수 있는 방법이 중요하다. 또한 점프 동작의 지속시간을 고려할 때 감지 알고리즘의 실시간 동작 가능성도 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 고려한 두 가지 알고리즘을 제안하며, 이들을 스마트폰 어플리케이션으로 구현하여 촬영 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 점프 동작 감지와 도약 동작을 포착한 사진 촬영이 가능하였다.

배구 제자리 점프 블로킹 착지 시 숙련도에 따른 수직지면반력 변인 분석 (Analysis of the Vertical GRF Variables during Landing from Vertical Jump Blocking in Volleyball)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate comparative analysis of the vertical ground reaction force variables during landing from vertical jump blocking in volleyball through GRF analysis system. The subjects participated in this study were 6 male university volleyball player and 6 male acted as a control group. The results are as follows: 1. The skilled group was longer than the unskilled group in flight time during vertical jump blocking. 2. The skilled group was faster than the unskilled group in tFz2 during landing from vertical jump blocking. 3. The skilled group was higher than the unskilled group in Fz2 during landing from vertical jump blocking. 4. The skilled group was higher than the unskilled group in Fz2LR during landing from vertical jump blocking. 5. The skilled group was higher than the unskilled group in impulse during landing from vertical jump blocking. Consequently, during landing from vertical jump, the landing strategy of the skilled group was found as a form of a stiff landing. Therefore, this landing strategy will be required to strengthen of hip and knee extensors and ankle plantar flexors for injury prevention.

Effect of Ankle Taping Type and Jump Height on Balance during Jump Landing in Chronic Ankle Instability

  • Background: Chronic ankle instability is a common injury that decreases balance and negatively affects functional movements, such as jumping and landing. Objectives: To analyze the effect of taping types and jump heights on balance with eyes open and closed during jump landings in chronic ankle instability. Design: Within-subject design. Methods: The study involved 22 patients with chronic ankle instability. They performed both double-leg and single-leg drop jump landings using three conditions (elastic taping, non-elastic taping, and barefoot) on three different jump platforms (30, 38, and 46 cm). Balance was measured using the Romberg's test with eyes open and closed. Results: Interaction effect was not statistically significant. Balance with eyes open and closed was significantly improved in both the elastic taping and non-elastic taping conditions compared to the barefoot condition. There was no significant difference according to the jump height. Conclusion: Individuals with chronic ankle instability demonstrated increased balance ability with eyes open and closed when jump landing. Elastic taping and non-elastic taping on the ankle joint can positively affect balance during landing in individuals with chronic ankle instability.

Differential effects of jump versus running exercise on trabecular bone architecture and strength in rats

  • [Purpose] This study compared differences in trabecular bone architecture and strength caused by jump and running exercises in rats. [Methods] Ten-week-old male Wistar rats (n=45) were randomly assigned to three body weight-matched groups: a sedentary control group (CON, n=15); a treadmill running group (RUN, n=15); and a jump exercise group (JUM, n=15). Treadmill running was performed at 25 m/min without inclination, 1 h/day, 5 days/week for 8 weeks. The jump exercise protocol comprised 10 jumps/day, 5 days/week for 8 weeks, with a jump height of 40 cm. We used microcomputed tomography to assess microarchitecture, mineralization density, and fracture load as predicted by finite element analysis (FEA) at the distal femoral metaphysis. [Results] Both jump and running exercises produced significantly higher trabecular bone mass, thickness, number, and fracture load compared to the sedentary control group. The jump and running exercises, however, showed different results in terms of the structural characteristics of trabecular bone. Jump exercises enhanced trabecular bone mass by thickening the trabeculae, while running exercises did so by increasing the trabecular number. FEA-estimated fracture load did not differ significantly between the exercise groups. [Conclusion] This study elucidated the differential effects of jump and running exercise on trabecular bone architecture in rats. The different structural changes in the trabecular bone, however, had no significant impact on trabecular bone strength.

하지의 비대칭성이 수직점프의 수행력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Lower Extremity Asymmetry on Performance of Vertical Jumping)

  • 본 연구에서는 양측 하지의 비대칭성이 수직점프의 수행, 즉 양측운동손실에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 13명의 성인 남성을 대상으로 좌/우의 외발과 양발을 각각 이용한 수직반동점프를 비교, 분석하였다. 분석 결과 양발점프가 외발점프에 비해 2배 이상 점프하였으나 외발점프에서 하지가 발현하는 충격량과 일량이 양발점프보다 24% 정도 높게 나타나 양측운동손실을 보여주었다. 또한 우성과 열성하지의 외발점프에서 충격량과 일량은 4-7% 정도의 유의한 역학적 비대칭성이 나타났다. 하지만 양측하지의 비대칭성과 양측운동손실 사이에는 유의한 차이가 보이지 않았으며, 양발점프에서 우성하지와 열성하지의 역학적 변인들 사이에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 양발 점프는 외발점프에 비해 짧은 시간에 관절의 높은 각속도로 긴 거리를 추진하였으며, 낮은 근활동을 보였는데 이러한 요인이 수행의 감소에 영향을 미쳤을 것으로 보인다.
