하중조건별 시험이 가능한 암석 절리편 전단시험의 개발 및 적용시험 (Development of Direct Shear Apparatus with Different Loading Conditions for Rock Joints and Its Application Tests)

  • 자연암석절리 및 인공 절리에 대하여 일정수직응력제어, 일정 수직하중제어 그리고 무한 강성제어가 가능한 암석 절리면 전단기 시험기를 개발하였다. 이 시험기는 전단변위에 의한 첩촉면적의 변화량을 계산하여 하중변화량을 조절하여 일정수직응력상태를 유지한다. 수직하중에 따른 시험기 강성에 의한 변화향이 제어 프로그램 내에서 제어되어 순수한 시편의 변위량을 출력하도록 하였다. 전단하중에 따른 시험기 강성에 의한 변위량은 상, 하부 전단상자의 상대변위 측정으로 최소화하였다. 전단거동 중의 자유도는 전당방향에 대하여 수평이도, 연직이동, 피칭, 롤링이 가능하도록 하였다. 자연절리면을 모사한 석고시편에 대하여 일정 수직응력 제어, 일정수직하중제어 그리고 무한 강성제어 조건으로 시험하여 제어상태 검증 및 비교를 하였다. 또한 경사각이 16.7˚와 22.6˚인 톱니형 시편에 대하여 시험한 결과 경사각 16.7˚와 22.6˚는 JRC로 10과 15를 나타내었으며, 첨두팽창각이 첨두전단강도에서 발생되며, Barton의 모델과 잘 일치함을 보였다.

열간 금형재의 마찰용접 최적화와 AE평가 (Friction Welding Optimization of Hot Die Punch Materials and Its AE Evaluation)

  • The complete joining method for dissimilar hot die punch materials and its real-time evaluation method are not available at present. Brazing method has been used for joining them, but it is known that the welded joint by the brazing has the lower bonding efficiency and reliability than the diffusion welding. The friction welding with a diffusion mechanism in bonding was applied in this study. So, this work was carried out to determine the optimal friction welding conditions and to analyze mechanical properties of friction welded joints of hot die punch materials (STD61 for the blade part of hot die punch) to alloy steel (SCM440 for the shank part of hot die punch) such as plunger. In addition, acoustic emission test was carried out during friction welding to evaluate the weld quality.

  • In general, crankshafts which are used in internal combustion reciprocating engines are subjects to high torsional vibration. Therefore, a damper is often used to minimize the torsional vibration in reciprocating engines. In this paper, in order to investigate damping performance of viscous damper, the real effective viscosity and complex damping coefficient of silicone oil, and the effective inertia moment of inertia ring are calculated considering the relative motion between damper casing and inertia ring. Based on these results multi-cylinder shaft is modeled into equivalent 2-degree of freedom system and optimum condition is estimated by calculating the amplification factor of viscous damper. Also the test damper was manufactured according to the result of theoretical investigation, the performance and durability was ascertained through experimental examination.

유한요소해석을 이용한 롤러헤밍 공정의 변형기구 분석 (Deformation Mechanism of the Roller Hemming Process with the Finite Element Analysis)

  • In this paper, a three-dimensional part model is constructed for the finite element analysis of hemming models where hemming defects frequently occur. The roller path is modeled as the boundary condition with the one-dimensional beam element and the revolute joint model. With the constructed part model and the roller movement, a finite element analysis has been pursued in order to identify the hemming load and hemming defects such as wrinkling in the flange region. The analysis result shows that the maximum hemming load occurs in the intake situation while oscillatory behavior of the load is found especially when hemming the curved model because of wrinkle generation. This paper compares the amplitude and the period of wrinkle between the analysis result and the experiment, which shows good agreement with each other.

마이크로 솔더 범프의 전단강도와 시효 특성 (Aging Characteristic of Shear Strength in Micro Solder Bump)

  • Flip-chip interconnection that uses solder bump is an essential technology to improve the performance of microelectronics which require higher working speed, higher density, and smaller size. In this paper, the shear strength of Cr/Cr-Cu/Cu UBM structure of the high-melting solder b01p and that of low-melting solder bump after aging is evaluated. Observe intermetallic compound and bump joint condition at the interface between solder and UBM by SEM and TEM. And analyze the shear load concentrated to bump applying finite element analysis. As a result of experiment, the maximum shear strength of Sn-97wt%Pb which was treated 900 hrs aging has been decreased as 25% and Sn-37wt%Pb sample has been decreased as 20%. By the aging process, the growth of $Cu_6Sn_5$ and $Cu_3Sn$ is ascertained. And the tendency of crack path movement that is interior of a solder to intermetallic compound interface is found.

토크 제한하에서의 첨단부 잔류진동 감소를 위한 매니퓰레이터 경로설계 (Manipulator Path Design to Reduce the Endpoint Residual Vibration under Torque Constraints)

  • In this work, a new method is presented for generating the manipulator path which significantly reduces residual vibration under the torque constraints. The desired path is optimally designed so that the required movement can be achieved with minimum residual vibration. From the previous research works, the dynamic model had been established including both the link and the joint flexibilities. The performance index is selected to minimize the maximum amplitude of residual vibration. The path to be designed is developed by a combined Fourier series and polynomial function to satisfy both the convergence and boundary condition matching problems. The concept of correlation coefficients is used to select the minimum number of design variables, i.e. Fourier coefficients, the only ones which have a considerable effect on the reduction of residual vibration. A two-link Manipulator is used to evaluate this method. Results show that residual vibration can be drastically reduced by selecting an appropriate manipulator path to both of unlimited and torque-limited cases.

레이저 용접시 분광학적 수법에 의한 증발입자의 거동과 플라즈마 물성의 계측 (Evaporating Particle Behaviors and plasma Parameters by Spectroscopic Method in laser Welding)

  • The laser-induced plasma affects greatly on the results of welding process. moreover selective evaporation loss of alloying elements leads to change in chemical composition of weld metal as well as the mechanical properties of welded joint. this study was undertaken to obtain a fundamental knowledge of pulsed laser welding phenomena especially evaporation mechanism of different aluminum alloys. The intensities of molecular spectra of AlO and MgO were different each other depeding on the power density of a laser beam Under the low power density condition the MgO band spectrum was predominant in intensity while the AlO spectra became much stronger with an increase in the power density. These behaviors have been attributed to the difference in evaporation phenomena of Al and Mg metals with different boiling points and latent heats of vaporization. The time-averaged plasma temperature and electron number density were determined by spectroscopic methods and consequently the obtained temperature was $3,280{\pm}150K$ and the electron number density was $1.85{\times}10^{19}\;l/m^3$.

  • Several possibilities on the stability analysis of the railroad tunnels passing through the abandoned mining area are considered in this paper. Previous works on the influence zone due to cavities are investigated to study the effect of the safety deterioration near the cavities which are normally unknown to the engineers. Additional works on the numerical analysis of the influential zone are also performed in 3D space. The praximity of railroad tunnel and unexpected cavities is critical to influence the stability of railroad tunnel under construction. Futhermore, the study on the influence of underground condition like joint and faults should be significantly controlled under both design and construction stage.

  • Magnetic nerve stimulation treatment is much backward real condition than other field. Specially, successful medical treatment introduction of magnetic field (MF) can was refered long ago in Avicenna's work, and is thought as age of medicine magnetology development recently. These development is achieved through biologist and biophysicist and clinician's joint effort, but, new mountings and relationship air tassel are developed steadily. Magnetic nerve stimulation treatment field designs treatment system by each function during long wave high-amplitude (traditional magneto therapy of greatly great that strong that) short time that CMF, VMF, PMF field etc. are representative but are HPMT technology in this research and manufacture and special quality did comparative analysis.

  • From the development of residential flat plate system, continuously bended shear reinforcements were applied in the joint performance test. The testing parameters are shear reinforcement types, which are no reinforcement, studrail reinforcement, and rebar type reinforcement. To verify the lateral resisting capacity, cyclic load is applied in the constant vertical load condition. From the test results, the resisting capacity of developed shear reinforcement system has a good performance behavior in the story drift ratio.
