중등학교 체육교사의 역할모호성과 역할갈등이 직무만족 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Role Ambiguity and Role Conflict for Physical Education Teachers on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance)

  • 본 연구는 체육교사가 지각하는 역할모호성과 역할갈등이 직무만족 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 알아 보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산광역시 소재의 중등학교 교사를 모집단으로 하였으며, 집락무선 표집을 이용하여 300명의 표본을 추출하였다. 자료수집은 설문지를 이용하였으며, 최종적으로 282부의 설문지가 분석에 이용되었다. 연구대상의 일반적 특성 및 타당도와 신뢰도, 그리고 가설검증을 위하여 SPSS 14.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석 그리고 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 분석에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등학교 체육교사의 역할모호성은 직무만족에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 중등학교 체육교사의 역할갈등은 직무만족에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 중등학교 체육교사의 역할모호성은 직무성과에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 마지막으로 중등학교 체육교사의 역할갈등은 직무성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는다.

유통업 근로자의 스트레스가 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Distribution Workers' Stress on their Job Performance)

  • Today, businesses are under rapidly changing environments that are characterized as stopless competition and uncertainty. Under this circumstance, workers are exposed to much stress that is induced by factors such as lots of job burden, responsibility, role conflicts, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflicts, pressure related to job performance and lots of job-related requests. Unlike workers of other industries, those of distribution business may be more exposed to stress because they serve in unique work conditions. Therefore, distribution workers have an accumulate fatigue of their own, suffering from health problems that are stress-induced. Distribution businesses should positively try to identify factors that fall their workers into stress, making those workers less stressful and preventing their negative job performance. Efforts to reduce workers' stress can not only improve their physical and mental health, but also raise business competitiveness. Thus the purpose of this study is to investigate how much distribution workers' job role, interpersonal relations and job environment are influential to their job stress and thereon determine relations between job stress and job performance.

신경외과 임상전문간호사의 역할갈등과 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction of Neurosurgery Clinical Nurse Specialist)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe role conflict and job satisfaction of Neurosurgery Clinical Nurse Specialist(NCNS) and to identify associated factors. Method: The target populations was 77 NCNSs from 30 general hospitals. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using t-test and ANOVA. Results: The overall mean scores of role conflict and job satisfaction were $3.60({\pm}0.54)$ and $3.04({\pm}0.46)$ respectively. Significant variables affecting role conflict were the working period as NCNS, the number of colleague NCNSs in working hospital, and assignment of prescription rights. The significant variable affecting job satisfaction was assignment of prescription rights. There was no statistically significant correlation between job and role conflict. Conclusion: The variable effecting both role conflict and job satisfaction was the extent of prescription rights. In order to improve the quality of patient care and to protect Neurosurgery Nurse Clinical Specialist, the enactment of law on prescription practice is needed.

한방병원 간호사의 스트레스와 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stress and Job Satisfaction among Oriental Hospital Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of stress and job satisfaction and the relationship of stress and job satisfaction of oriental hospital nurses. The subjects were 255 nurses of 9 oriental hospital in Taegu and Pusan cities and data were collected from 20 March to 10 May 1998. The instruments used for this study were a survey of genernal characteristics(7 items). stress(6 items) and job satisfaction(20 items). Analysis of data was done by use of mean, percentage, t-test, ANOVA and pearson correlation with SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows : 1) The average item score for stress was 3.08. Religion, duration of nurse expectancy and work motivation among sociodemographic characteristics were significantly different with the degree of stress. 2) The average item score for job satisfaction was 2.84. Education, religion, marital state, carrier history, duration of nurse expectancy and work motivation among sociodemographic characteristics were significantly different with the degree of job satisfaction. 3) There were significant negative correlation among the variables : working volume and group conflict factors · role implementation fators${\cdot}$personal socialization fators/nursing skill and role implementation fatal's· personal socialization fators/rolesharing with peers and role implementation fators/relationship with co-workers and group conflict factors${\cdot}$role implementation fators${\cdot}$personal socialization fators/relationship with patients and role implementation fators/relationship with supervisors and role implementation fators. And there was a significant positive correlation between role-sharing with peers and decision-making fators.

프리셉터의 셀프리더십이 역할인식과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Preceptor Nurses' Self-leadership on Role Recognition and Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of preceptor nurses' self-leadership on role recognition and job satisfaction. Method: The participants were 171 preceptor nurses worked in one of three general hospitals in Seoul. The data were collected from April 12 to May 12, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation, Scheffe, and regression with SPSS Win 19.0 program. Result: The results of the study were as followed. The average score for preceptor nurses' self-leadership was 3.55, for role recognition, 3.81 and for job satisfaction, 3.28. The factors of the preceptors' self-leadership affecting role recognition were self-expectation (${\beta}$=260, p=.002) and goal setting (${\beta}$=199, p=.030), and those factors accounted for 18.9% of explanatory power. The factors of self-leadership influencing job satisfaction were self-expectation (${\beta}$=18.3, p=.021), and rehearsal (${\beta}$=-168, p=.030), and those factors accounted for 31.3% of explanatory power. Among the factors of self-leadership, self-expectation influenced both role recognition and job satisfaction. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that to improve preceptor's role recognition and job satisfaction, there should be special training programs to enhance preceptor's self leadership.

취업주부의 역할갈등과 취업중단의사 관련 변수에 대한 연구 (An Analysis of the Factors Related to the Degree of the Role Conflict and the Likelihood of Exits of the Labor Force of Working Wives)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify the factors associated with the degree of role conflict and the likelihood of exits of the labor force of working wives and to investigate the relationship between the role conflict and job quitting behavior of working wives. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the ratio of reservation wage relative to wife's earnings, wife's earnings, husband's behavioral support, the presence of child under age of 6, the type of occupation, and job satisfaction are associated with the role conflict of working wives. Second, there is a significant difference in the job quitting behavior of working wives according to the degree of role conflict of working wives. Third, the level of role conflict, educational level, the ratio of resonation wage relative to wife's earnings, husband's behavioral support, the presence of child under age of 6, the type of occupation, and job satisfaction are associated with the likelihood of job quitting of working wives.

종합병원 감염관리간호사의 업무실태와 스트레스, 역할갈등 및 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Work Condition, Stress, Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction of Infection Control Nurses Working in General Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the work conditions, reported stress, role conflict and job satisfaction of infection control nurses working in general hospitals. Methods: The subjects were 125 infection control nurses from 102 general hospitals. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of questions about general characteristics, job characteristics, work condition, stress, role conflict, and job satisfaction. Data were collected from July to September 2011 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation, and Stepwise multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Over fifty percent (56.0%) of infection control nurses reported the majority of their time was monitoring intensive units. The average reported stress was 7.20, role conflict was 3.67, and job satisfaction was 3.14. The factors which influenced job satisfaction were stress, enough information, annual income, and the number of hospital beds. Conclusion: The factors contributing to job stress of infection control nurses need to be specifically identified. Education and training for infection control personnel should be provided to enhance job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of role ambiguity on the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families. The subjects were 243 visiting supervisors for multicultural families. The data were analyzed with SPSS Win 15.0 using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, hierarchical multiple regression and path analysis. The findings showed that both self-efficacy and role ambiguity exerted a significant effect on the job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families. Further, it is important to note that the effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction was mediated by role ambiguity. The study discussed implications in terms of job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families.

심리적 주인의식과 혁신행동에 관한 연구: 직무만족과 직무열의를 중심으로 (A Study on the Psychological Ownership and Innovative Behavior: Focus on Job Satisfaction and Job Engagement)

  • This study investigated the relationship between psychological ownership and the innovative behavior of Korean employees. This paper also examined whether job satisfaction positively mediates the above relationship. In addition, we address the moderating role and moderated mediation role of job engagement in the relationship between job satisfaction and innovative behavior. By using cross-sectional data, with questionnaires administered to 289 employees working in Korean hospitals, the main hypotheses were tested. The result of empirical analysis has shown that psychological ownership was significantly positively related to both employee innovative behavior. The results also found that job satisfaction positively mediated the relationship between psychological ownership and innovative behavior of employees. In addition, there was significant moderating effect of job engagement on the relationship between psychological ownership and job satisfaction and the moderating mediating role of job engagement was found.

남자간호사의 성역할 갈등, 직무만족 및 이직의도와의 관계 (Relationship of Gender Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction to Turnover Intention for Men in Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between gender role conflict for men in nursing, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. Methods: The study data were collected between August 1 and September 1, 2015 from 225 men in nursing currently working in 36 Korean general hospitals, each with ${\geq}100$ beds. Frequency and percentages were analyzed, and Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan's test were used. Results: There was no significant difference in gender role conflict based on the general characteristics of the men. In contrast, significant differences in gender role conflict were found in association with the following job-related characteristics: work experience at the present hospital, work department, work unit, and type of work. A significant negative correlation was detected between male gender role conflict and job satisfaction, a positive correlation was found between male gender role conflict and turnover intention. Conclusion: In order to increase job satisfaction and decrease the turnover intention of men in nursing, measures to reduce gender role conflict are needed.
