  • This paper predicts the onion's cultivation areas, yields per unit area, and wholesale prices during ship dates by using wholesale price data from the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, the production data from the Statistics Korea, and the weather data from the Korea Meteorological Administration with an ARDL model. By analyzing the data of wholesale price, rural household income and rural total earnings, onion cultivation areas in 2015 are estimated to be 21,035, 17,774 and 20,557(ha). In addition, onion yields per unit area of South Jeolla Province, North Gyeongsang Province, South Gyeongsang Province, Jeju Island, and the whole country in 2015 are estimated to be 5,980, 6,493, 6,543, 6,614, 6,139 (kg/10a) respectively. By using onion production's predictive value found from onion's cultivation areas and yields per unit area in 2015, the onion's wholesale prices in June are estimated to be 780 won, 1,100 won, and 820 won for each model. Predicted monthly price after the onion's ship dates is analyzed to exceed 1,000 won after August.

In conclusion, Multiple regression analysis of health control behaviors on emotional happiness showed that health control behaviors had a 15% effect on emotional happiness. The following suggestions were made through the results of this study. The survey Was conducted from April 4, 2017 to April 25, 2017 for the subject remarried couples aged more then 30years living in Sooul, Gyeonggi province, chungchong province, Jeolla province and Kyeongsang province. 48 questionnaires are distributed and analyzed with SPSS WIN 21. Results of the analysis showed that the higher the level of self-differentiation of the remarried couple, the more positive influence of marital satisfaction on the emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy as the sub-factors of marital intimacy, (-), respectively. As a result of in-depth interviews, low levels of self-differentiation have negative effects on marital satisfaction and marital intimacy, resulting in a vicious cycle in marital conflict. And these results show the possibility of the unified construction of a marital satisfaction improvement program considering self-differentiation, marital intimacy, and marital conflict coping style.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the influence of spirituality and job satisfaction on the compassion competence of hospice nurses. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of 118 hospice nurses from 16 hospitals in Daejeon, Chungcheong Province, and Jeolla Province. A self-administered survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire including the Spirituality Scale, Index of Work Satisfaction, the Compassion Competence Scale for Nurses, and general socio-demographic information. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 26.0. Results: Compassion competence was correlated with spirituality (r=0.66, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (r=0.52, P<0.001), and spirituality was correlated with job satisfaction (r=0.44, P<0.001). Spirituality (β=0.513, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (β=0.273, P<0.001) were significant factors affecting the compassion competence of hospice nurses, after adjusting for the sociodemographic and work-related covariates. The step-by-step results from hierarchical linear regression analysis also indicated that spirituality had a stronger impact than job satisfaction on compassion competence. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate the importance of spirituality, which plays a role in guiding the compassion competence of hospice nurses. It is necessary to support the spirituality and job satisfaction of hospice nurses, which could facilitate their compassion competence and thereby contribute to improving the quality of hospice and palliative care.
