CONVERGENCE AND STABILITY OF THREE-STEP ITERATIVE SCHEME WITH ERRORS FOR COMPLETELY GENERALIZED STRONGLY NONLINEAR QUASIVARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES

  • In this paper, we introduce a new class of completely generalized strongly nonlinear quasivariational inequalities and establish its equivalence with a class of fixed point problems by using the resolvent operator technique. Utilizing this equivalence, we develop a three-step iterative scheme with errors, obtain a few existence theorems of solutions for the completely generalized non-linear strongly quasivariational inequality involving relaxed monotone, relaxed Lipschitz, strongly monotone and generalized pseudocontractive mappings and prove some convergence and stability results of the sequence generated by the three-step iterative scheme with errors. Our results include several previously known results as special cases.

  • Serially concatenated multilevel coded modulation (SCMCM) is proposed in this paper. It is a combined scheme of the outer convolutional code and inner multilevel coded modulation (MCM) which is bandwidth-efficient coded modulation. And the performance of three schemes for decoding of the proposed SCMCM is compared and analyzed. As results of simulations, global iterative decoding with inner and outer code should be performed to improve the error performance as the number of iterations is increased. And the scheme which uses both local iterative multistage decoding in MCM and global iterative decoding with inner and outer code, called Scheme 3 in this paper, shows the best error performance among the three schemes considered in this paper. In addition, performance difference between this scheme and the others is increased as the signal to noise ratio (SNR) is increased. Therefore, Scheme 3 is considered to be the proper decoding scheme of SCMCM.

  • An iterative learning control scheme is incorporated to the computed torque method as a means to enhance the accuracy and the flexibility. A learning rule is constructed by utilizing a gradient descent algorithm and data compressing techniques are illustrated. Computer simulation results show a good performance of the scheme under a relatively high speed and a heavy payload condition.

  • In this letter, an MMSE based iterative soft decision interference cancellation scheme for massive MIMO systems is proposed. To reduce the complexity, the proposed scheme uses the Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury formula to compute the entire MMSE filtering vectors in one iteration by one matrix inverse operation. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme also has a comparable BER to the conventional scheme for massive MIMO systems.

  • In this letter, a parity check based iterative IC scheme is proposed for LDPC coded MIMO systems. After the decoding procedures in each iteration of the proposed scheme, each decoded codeword is utilized for the IC procedures only when the ratio of the check nodes satisfying the parity check equations to the total number of check nodes is not smaller than the pre-defined threshold value. Simulation results verify that the proposed scheme can achieve an improved BLER at the high SNR region compared to the conventional iterative IC scheme.

  • In this paper, a new one-step iterative scheme with error for approximating common fixed points of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type nonself-mappings in Banach space is defined. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve the recent ones, announced by H. Y. Zhou, Y. J. Cho, and S. M. Kang [Zhou et al.,(2007), namely, A new iterative algorithm for approximating common fixed points for asymptotically non-expansive mappings, published to Fixed Point Theory and Applications 2007 : 1-9], and many others.

  • In this paper, we study a system of nonlinear wave equations associated with the helical flows of Maxwell fluid. By constructing a N-order iterative scheme, we prove the local existence and uniqueness of a weak solution. Furthermore, we show that the sequence associated with N-order iterative scheme converges to the unique weak solution at a rate of N-order.

  • In this paper, a new iterative scheme based on the extra-gradient-like method for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of modified variational inequalities in Banach spaces. A strong convergence theorem for this iterative scheme in Banach spaces is established. Our results extend recent results announced by many others.

  • In this paper, a new watermarking method using an iterative scheme is proposed. The proposed method consists of two parts: watermark generation and its insertion. In the watermark generation, random signals with normalized distribution N(0,1) are produced and modified using an iterative scheme. In the watermark insertion, the resulting watermark signals are inserted into selected transform coefficients with various scaling parameters in order to achieve the invisibility and robustness against illegal attacks. The simulation results show that the proposed method has good performance for various attacks including image compression, filtering, etc.
