The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among Clothing Satisfaction, Social approval, Psychological dependence, and Social security-insecurity and to determine the difference of clothing behaviors by the demographic variables such as age, socioeconomics status, education, religion, and material status. Clothing Satisfaction was measured by Rim's Questionnaire(1974) moditide and supplemented for this study. For the measurement of Social approval and Psychological dependence, the Clothing Interest Inventory developed by Creekmore (1971) was adapted for this story. The measurement for the Social security-insecurity was adapted from Lapitsky's (1961) Social Security Inventory. Data were collected from 322 purposively selected elderly women over sixty dwelling in Seoul by means of interviews. For statistical analysis, frequency distribution, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficients were used. The results were as follows: 1. There were significant relationships among Clothing satisfaction, Social approval, and Psychological dependence. Negative significant relaionships were found between Clothing satisfaction and Social approval and between Clothing satisfaction and Psychological dependence. 2. There was negative significant relationship between Social security-insecurity and Clothing satisfaction, while positive significant relationships were found between Social security-insecurity and Social approval, and between Social security- insecurity and Psychological dependence. 3. There was significant difference in Clothing satisfaction according to socioeconomic status and education. 4. There was significant difference in Social approval according to socioeconomic statusand education. 5. There was significant difference in Psychological dependence according to education and religion.
The aim of this study is to make an education satisfaction assessment tool in university. For this, the related study, researchers meeting were conducted and 20 university students were involved in checking items, and then inventory items were completed. The pilot test was conducted at university in Choongnam Province for EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis by using outcome data. From them, 4 sub-areas and 12 factors were consisted. The 4 sub-areas are education method, education contents, education environment, and education outputs. The education method is composed of appropriateness and fairness of classroom activities, the education contents are composed of systemization of education contents, the diversity and quality of education contents, and the effectiveness of education contents. The education environment is configured as educational facilities and environment, educational supporting service and administrative services. For content validity, items which adapted over 0.90 S-CVI : Standard Content Validity Index. To 48 inventory items obtained proper contents validity and reliability, measurement of suitability of verification was conducted. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of reliability test has emerged as highly 0.987. In CFA(Complimentary Factor Analysis), CFGFI, CFL, TLI, RMSEA, NFI indexes show a good value, therefore, this assessment tool for educational satisfaction in university is suitable for measuring tool.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of early childhood teachers' job satisfaction and burnout by variables and to analyze the relationship between the two subject matters. Then this study will serve to improve overall quality of early childhood education through fair comprehension about them. We surveyed 333 teachers in total, 171 public/private kindergarten teachers and 162 preschool teachers. A questionnaire by ECJSS of Jord-Bloom(1989) and Fleischer(1985) was used to measure the degree of job satisfaction, along with the version MBI(Maslach Burnout Inventory) by Maslach and Jackson(1981), adjusted by An, youngkil(I992) and Seo, jiyoung(2002), to check the degree of burnout. It was found that job satisfaction was higher among the surveyees of old age or with more education/less working hours. Small salaries, however, was one of the causes of low job satisfaction. Emotional burnout was shown in the surveyees of old age or with good education/career records. On the other hand, exhaustion from a lack of accomplishment was shown in single, young and low paid teachers. Thus, burnout and job satisfaction had a highly negative coefficient of correlation, meaning that job satisfaction gets high when burnout gets low.
The purpose of this study was to examine the life satisfaction of adolescents in the ecological contexts of their individual, family, school, and social-cultural experiences. The participants were 1,099 middle and high school students in Chungnam-do. Instruments were the Satisfaction with Life Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Parent-Adolescent Communication Inventory, the School Life Satisfaction Scale, and Social-Cultural Satisfaction Scale. Data analysis involved the use of descriptive statistics, t- and F-tests, Duncan's multiple range test, product-moment correlations, multiple regression, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, and factor analysis. Results were as follows: Firstly, middle school students showed the highest levels of life satisfaction, and vocational high school students reported the lowest levels. Also, life satisfaction was inversely related to school grades. Secondly, for all the students, life satisfaction was positive correlated with self-esteem, open communication with parents, school life satisfaction, and social-cultural satisfaction. Lastly, open communication with parents and overall satisfaction with life at school explained more of the variance in adolescent life satisfaction than any other factors.
This study was to investigate the moderating effects of the childcare teacher‘s egoresilience on the relationship between their job satisfaction and burnout. The participants were 336 childcare teachers from Chungnam-do and Daejeon Metropolitan City. The research instruments were the Job Satisfaction Scale modified from Bently and Remple 1970), the Ego-resilience Scale from Park(1996) with CPI and CAQ correction, and Maslach Burnout Inventory from Maslash and Jackson(1981). SPSS PC program(17.0) was used for productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression and reliability by Cronbach's as data analysis. The results were as follows. Firstly, the childcare teacher’s job satisfaction and ego-resilience level were above average (M=3.37, 3.58 each), while their burnout level was below average(M=2.57). Secondly, there was a negative correlation between their job satisfaction and burnout(r=-.51), while a positive correlation was between their job satisfaction and ego-resilience(r=.34). Thirdly, the burnout and ego-resilience against job satisfaction explained 28.1%. The optimistic attitude of the childcare teacher‘s ego- resilience was shown to moderate the effects on the relationship between their burnout and job satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of job characteristics, job performance and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of hospital dietitians. The first survey was carried out on 74 hospital dietitians to determine their demographic characteristics, job characteristics, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The second survey was carried out on 47 hospital foodservice dietitians to determine their job performance. Thirty-two percent of the subjects were aged between 26 and 30, and 62.2% had Bachelor's degrees. The dietitians felt most satisfied by their co-workers, followed by the work-itself, supervision, pay, and promotion possibilities. Dietitians who had a higher education were satisfied with pay and supervision. The longer the length of employment, the more the satisfaction with the work-itself and pay, plus the higher the monthly wage the more the satisfaction with the work-itself, pay, supervision, and co-workers. lob satisfaction was high in the group that scored high on autonomy, feedback, task identity, and friendship of in the job characteristic inventory. The job performances of nutrition counseling(r= 0.469, p < 0.01), nutrition education(r= 0.446, p < 0.01) and management of therapeutic diet(r= 0.394, p < 0.01) were positively correlated with job satisfaction. The $R^2$for the multiple regression model was 0.677, indicating that 67.7% of the variance in job satisfaction could be accounted for by feedback, organizational commitment, nutrition counseling performance, and nutrition education performance. In conclusion, the level of job satisfaction for hospital dietitians would appear to improve with increased feedback, organizational commitment, and opportunity for nutrition counseling and nutrition education.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of sexual rehabilitation education on the knowledge of sexual activities and satisfaction of sexual activities of spinal cord injury clients by the method of Nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest group. The study period was between Jan. 6th and Apr 11th, 1999. The experimental group was 21 spinal cord injury clients from one general hospital, and the control group was 21 spinal cord injury clients from three University hospital. Sexual rehabilitation education was done with manuals and video-tapes. Education time was 90 minutes a week for 4 weeks. The study tool was 20 questionnaires about sexual knowledge, designed Song, Chung Sook(1990) and 10 questionnaires from Derogatis's Derogatis Sexual Function Inventory for satisfaction of sexual activities(1979) translated by Jang, Soon Boke(1989). Analysis of data was done by $x^2-test$, t-test, repeated measures ANOVA and simple main effect with SAS/PC. The results are as follows. The 1st. hypothesis. 'The group educated about the sexual rehabilitation has more sexual activities knowledge than those of the uneducated group.' is significant statistically(F=12.06, p=0.001). The 2nd hypotheses, 'The group educated about the sexual rehabilitation has more satisfaction of sexual activities than those of the uneducated group.' is significant statistically(F=5.04, p=0.030). According to the results, sexual rehabilitation education helps spinal cord injury clients to gain knowledge of sexual activities and satisfaction of sexual activities.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of video-based information provision on anxiety and education satisfaction of patients with thyroid cancer who are undergoing radioiodine treatment. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group and nonsynchronized design. Data were collected from September 4 to December 31, 2013. Participants in this study were 60 patients (experimental group=30, control group=30) admitted after thyroidectomy. Video-based information developed by the authors was used with the experimental group at admission. The control group was provided with a booklet. State anxiety was measured using the Korean version of Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Education satisfaction was measured with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Collected data were analyzed using SPSS windows 18.0 programs for Chi square test and t-test. Results: There was no significant difference in status anxiety between the two groups (t=1.05, p=.300). The experimental group had significantly higher level of education satisfaction than the control group (t=3.34, p=.001). Conclusion: Results indicate that providing video-based information is effective in increasing education satisfaction. Therefore, it is recommended that complementing and existing education with video-based information will contribute to enhanced nursing practice.

The study verified the work capacity (job performance, perception, knowledge) and satisfaction on managing the inventory of operating room nurses working in a more than 700-bed hospital. The purpose of this study was to provide basic data of education for work capacity and satisfaction and quality insurance by analyzing the scores between the three different operating rooms and the correlation between the work capacity and satisfaction by investigating the related factors. This study presented a structured and self-administered questionnaire to 181 nurses who had been working in the operating room more than six months. The mean and standard deviation of the job performance, perception, knowledge, and satisfaction were 4.2(${\pm}0.56$), 3.4(${\pm}0.76$), 3.5(${\pm}0.40$), and 3.4(${\pm}0.55$), respectively. The work capacity and satisfaction of each group did not show a statistically significant difference. The correlations between the job performance and knowledge, knowledge and perception, perception and satisfaction were positive (r=.627, p<0.01), (r=.663, p<0.01) and (r=.485, p<0.01), respectively. Among the factors related to the general characteristics of operating room nurses, only age significantly affected their job performance. This study provides basic data on the maintenance and improvement of their competence and satisfaction by being served as a resource for sustainable human resources management and training, and efficient management of the communication channel between hospitals.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the predictive strength of students' self-efficacy, problem-solving skills, and other characteristics in performing intravenous practices and monitor phlebitis and infiltration. Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out with 736 third and fourth-year students studying at the Health Sciences Faculties of Balikesir and Sakarya universities. The data were collected using the Self-Efficacy Scale, Problem-Solving Inventory and Catheter Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire. Results: The participants' mean Catheter Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire score significantly and positively correlated with their mean Self-Efficacy Scale score on a moderate level (r=.25; p<.001) but significantly and negatively correlated with their mean Problem-Solving Inventory score on a moderate level (r=-.21; p<.001). In other words, because a low Problem-Solving Inventory score indicates that the person's problem-solving skill is high, the Care and Infiltration Monitoring Questionnaire score increased as the problem-solving skill increased. While the Self-Efficacy Scale predicted the year of study and catheter care and infiltration monitoring variables positively, the Problem-Solving Inventory predicted the satisfaction with the profession variable negatively. Conclusion: Self-efficacy, problem-solving, liking the profession, and year of study predict success in catheter care and infiltration monitoring. For this reason, guidance may be provided in the development of a comprehensive education system toward increasing students' problem-solving skills, self-efficacy, and professional knowledge and skills.
