This paper is a continuation of our previous $paper,^1$ and deals with Eq.(1) (see the text), which was theoretically derived in the $paper,^1$$ [{\eta}]^f\; and\; [{\eta}]^0$ is the intrinsic viscosity at stress f and f = O, respectively. Equation (1) predicts how $[{{\eta}}]^f / [{\eta}]^0$ changes with stress f, relaxation time ${\beta}_2$ of flow unit 2 and a constant $c_2$ related with the elasticity of molecular spring of flow unit 2. In this paper, Eq.(1) is applied to a biopolymer, e.g., poly (${\gamma}$-benzyl L-glutamate), and nonbiopolymers, e.g., polyisobutylene, polystyrene, polydimethylsiloxane and cellulose triacetate. It was found that the $c_2$ factor is zero for non-biopolymers while $c_2{\neq}0$ for biopolymers as found $previously.^1$ Because of the non-Newtonian nature of the solutions, the ratio $[{{\eta}}]^f / [{\eta}]^0$ drops from its unity with increasing f. We found that the smaller the ${\beta}_2,$ the larger the $f_c$ at which the viscosity ratio drops from the unity, vice versa.

Purpose: The study aims to investigate the impact of factors affecting the work motive distribution of public universities lecturers in Hanoi. Research design, data and methodology: The questionnaire survey method is applied in this research to analyze the relationship between the variables and verify the hypothesis based on the collected 306 valid questionnaires. The partial least square method structural equation model (PLS-SEM) is used to carry out structural equation modeling to study the relationship between latent variables with reliable tools (SmartPLS 3.0 software). Results: The research results show that the intrisic motivation of the lecturers, the extrisic motivation of the lecturers and the job characteristics of the lecturers all have a positive impact on the motivation of public universities lecturers in Hanoi. In which, intrinsic motivation has the greatest influence on the work motive distribution of lecturers. In addition, the research results also prove that job characteristics affect the work motive distribution of lecturers. This is a new factor in the factors affecting the work motive distribution of public universities lecturers. Conclusion: Based on the research results, the authors propose some recommendations to increase the work motive distribution of public universities lecturers in Hanoi through improving the factors affecting their work motive distribution.
This study examines the rise of the Body Positive Movement on TikTok and its role as a form of online content activism influencing the fashion design and industry. Through a combination of literature review and case study methodology, the study explores the expression techniques and thematic types of Body Positive Movement on TikTok. Reviews of literature, previous studies, online articles, fashion journals, and relevant search terms on TikTok informed a definition of Body Positive Movement and an analysis of its formation and rise. The research findings confirm the impact TikTok content on Body Positive Movement has on the fashion industry in addressing external factors (i.e., 'Appearance', 'Race', 'Aging', 'Physical Disability') and intrinsic factors (i.e., 'Acceptance of Diversity', 'Self-Esteem', 'Rejection of Stereotypes', 'Appropriate Representation', 'Information Provision'). The key external factor , 'Appearance', includes subcategories such as 'Body Shape', 'Body Hair', 'Skin', and 'Facial Features'. TikTok content creators on fashion creatively combine music, emojis, and visual storytelling to exhibit positive self-perception concerning these factors. A significant finding of the study is that short clips predominantly manifesting external factors differentiate into informative or enlightening videos associated with intrinsic factors. The study underscores Body Positive Movement's important influence on the fashion industry from design to presentation.
This study was designed to investigate differences in some aspects of value conceptions in fundamentals of nursing functions between nursing service personnel and nurse-educators. The purpose of the study was to identify the difference of value conceptions between the hospital nurses and school instructors, to contribute as a reference in strengthening the educational program in establishing nay hinder professional growth. The questionaries of this study were focused in the following aspects: 1) establishment of nursing service management system, 2) strengthening of the professionalization of nursing service, 3) hindrance in accomplishment of independent nursing functions, 4) communication skills in nurse-patient relationship, 5) activities directly related to nursing care planning, 6) communication skills in nurse-doctor relationship, 7) attitude towards taking responsibilities for patient- centered nursing approach, and 8) nursing educational approach towards preparation of professional competence in practicing independent nursing functions. 265 graduate nurses from 14 general hospitals and 88 nursing instructors from 18 schools, collegiate and diploma, were sampled. The main findings of the study were as follows; 1. Both groups responded highly in the lack of public recognition of nursing profession and hospital administrators support in establishment of nursing service management system. Further investigation is needed to define some relationship between the intrinsic and extrinsic factors which might give influence to the professional development. 2. while hospital nursing personnel responded on environmental pressure such as a heavy nursing load as the factor giving hindrance to independent nursing functions, the nurse educators responded highly on lack of nursing competence of individual nurses. An emphasis should be placed on the development of nursing interaction through professional education. If the professional model is not well established, nursing function will be limited to medical assistance. 3. 3. The patient-centered approach for nurse-patient communication had given positive respond for both group, tut lacks in team concept in problem solving process. There exist a social distance between nurses and other professional co-workers in the hospital hierarchy. 4. It was indicated that, as an intrinsic factor in the development of nursing service and nursing education, building up a philosophical basis is an utmost importance. This question is opened for further and extensive study to clarify whether existence of philosophical absence or philosophical stasis in nursing profession hinders the development.

Several studies have addressed the possible role of hepatitis C virus genotype-4 (HCV GT4) in apoptosis. However, this still not fully understood. In the current study a re-constructed clone of E1/E2 polyprotein region of the HCV GT4 was transfected into the Huh7 cell line and a human apoptotic PCR array of 84 genes was used to investigate its possible significance for apoptosis. Out of the 84 genes, only 35 showed significant differential expression, 12 genes being up-regulated and 23 down-regulated. The highest-up regulated genes were APAF1 (apoptotic peptidase-activating factor 1), BID (BH3 interacting domain death agonist) and BCL 10 (B-cell CLL/lymphoma protein 10) with fold regulation of 33.2, 30.1 and 18.9, respectively. The most down-regulated were FAS (TNF receptor super family), TNFRSF10B (tumor necrosis factor receptor super-family member 10b) and FADD (FAS-associated death domain) with fold regulation of -30.2, -27.7 and -14.9, respectively. These results suggest that the E1/E2 proteins may be involved in HCV-induced pathogenesis by modulating apoptosis through the induction of the intrinsic apoptosis pathway and disruption of the BCL2 gene family.

The one of the principles described in ICH E9 is that only results obtained from pre-specified statistical methods in a protocol are regarded as confirmatory evidence. However, in multi-regional clinical trials, even when results obtained from pre-specified statistical methods in protocol are significant, it does not guarantee that the test treatment is approved by regional regulatory agencies. In other words, there is no so-called global approval, and each regional regulatory agency makes its own decision in the face of the same set of data from a multi-regional clinical trial. Under this situation, there are two natural methods a regional regulatory agency can use to estimate the treatment effect in a particular region. The first method is to use the overall treatment estimate, which is to extrapolate the overall result to the region of interest. The second method is to use regional treatment estimate. If the treatment effect is completely identical across all regions, it is obvious that the overall treatment estimator is more efficient than the regional treatment estimator. However, it is not possible to confirm statistically that the treatment effect is completely identical in all regions. Furthermore, some magnitude of regional differences within the range of clinical relevance may naturally exist for various reasons due to, for instance, intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Nevertheless, if the magnitude of regional differences is relatively small, a conventional method to estimate the treatment effect in the region of interest is to extrapolate the overall result to that region. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects produced by this type of extrapolation via estimations, followed by hypothesis testing of the treatment effect in the region of interest. This paper is written from the viewpoint of regional regulatory agencies.
Early-type galaxies (ETGs) are supposed to follow the virial relation $M=k_e{\sigma}^2R_e/G$, with M being the mass, σ* being the stellar velocity dispersion, Re being the effective radius, G being Newton's constant, and ke being the virial factor, a geometry factor of order unity. Applying this relation to (a) the ATLAS3D sample of Cappellari et al. (2013) and (b) the sample of Saglia et al. (2016) gives ensemble-averaged factors 〈ke〉 = 5.15 ± 0.09 and 〈ke〉 = 4.01 ± 0.18, respectively, with the difference arising from different definitions of effective velocity dispersions. The two datasets reveal a statistically significant tilt of the empirical relation relative to the theoretical virial relation such that $M{\propto}({\sigma}^2_*R_e)^{0.92}$. This tilt disappears when replacing Re with the semi-major axis of the projected half-light ellipse, a. All best-fit scaling relations show zero intrinsic scatter, implying that the mass plane of ETGs is fully determined by the virial relation. Whenever a comparison is possible, my results are consistent with, and confirm, the results by Cappellari et al. (2013). The difference between the relations using either a or Re arises from a known lack of highly elliptical high-mass galaxies; this leads to a scaling (1 - ϵ ) ∝ M0.12, with ϵ being the ellipticity and $R_e=a\sqrt[]{1-{\epsilon}}$. Accordingly, a, not Re, is the correct proxy for the scale radius of ETGs. By geometry, this implies that early-type galaxies are axisymmetric and oblate in general, in agreement with published results from modeling based on kinematics and light distributions.

The human coagulation factor XI (FXI) is a serine protease that plays a significant role in blocking of the blood coagulation cascade as an attractive antithrombotic target. Selective inhibition of FXIa (an activated form of factor XI) disrupts the intrinsic coagulation pathway without affecting the extrinsic pathway or other coagulation factors such as FXa, FIIa, FVIIa. Furthermore, targeting the FXIa might significantly reduce the bleeding side effects and improve the safety index. This paper reports on a docking-based three dimensional quantitative structure activity relationship (3D-QSAR) study of the potent FXIa inhibitors, the chloro-phenyl tetrazole scaffold series, using comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and comparative molecular similarity analysis (CoMSIA) methods. Due to the characterization of FXIa binding site, we classified the alignment of the known FXIa inhibitors into two groups according to the docked pose: S1-S2-S4 and S1-S1'-S2'. Consequently, highly predictive 3D-QSAR models of our result will provide insight for designing new potent FXIa inhibitors.
Accelerator driven subcritical systems have long been discussed as facilities which can be used for solving the nuclear waste problem. The physics of these systems is very different from conventional reactors and new techniques had to be developed for reactivity monitoring. One such technique is the Area Ratio Method which studies the response of a subcritical system upon insertion of a large number of neutron pulses. An issue associated with this technique is the spatial dependence of measured reactivity which is intrinsic to the sub criticality of the system since the reactor does not operate on the fundamental mode and measured reactivity depends on the detector position. This is generally addressed by defining Bell-Glasstone spatial correction factor. This factor upon multiplication with measured reactivity gives the correct reactivity which is independent of detector location. Monte Carlo Methods are used for evaluating these factors. This paper presents a complete three dimensional map of spatial correction factors for BRAHMMA subcritical system. In addition, the dataset obtained also helps in identifying detector locations where the correction factor is close to unity, thereby implying no correction if the detector is used at those locations.

This study investigated the factors affecting the procedures of becoming a scientist. Interview was used as a research method for deep understanding of individual career choice procedures. Interviews for individual scientists were conducted for about 60 minutes in their offices and all the interviews were tape-recorded. A total of 34 scientists who received some representative science awards in Korea during 1990 - 2001 were sampled. They were all men. But the interview was conducted with 30 scientists. The investigation was based on the framework that was composed of the following four categories: personal ability, home environment, school environment, and sociocultural environment. And each category had several factors as follows: personal ability consisted of the meta-ability to figure out the aptitude and the self-ability and the achievement; home environment consisted of parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, and hobby; school environment consisted of teachers, friends, club activity; sociocultural environment consisted of event, mass media, social recognition and social prospect. From the analysis of the career choice procedure of the scientists it was appeared that the meta-ability for personal ability, the parental influence particularly by father for home environment, science teacher and professor for school environment, and social prospect for sociocultural environment were important. In conclusion, most of the scientists made an important decision for their future career when they were the 12th grade and 1st year in university, and they considered intrinsic factor such as self-interest and aptitude and extrinsic factor such as social prospect. However intrinsic factor related to science teacher and professor and extrinsic factor related to fathers' advice.
