치위생과 학생의 사회학적 특성과 셀프리더십이 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향 (Influence of social characteristics and self leadership on stress coping method in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of social characteristics and self leadership on stress coping method in the dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 436 dental hygiene students in J area from November 10 to December 10, 2013. The questionnaire consisted ofsocial characteristics of the subjects, self leadership, and stress coping method. The reliability was evaluated by Cronbach alpha. Data were analyzed by frequency, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 12.0 statistical package program. The self leadership was developed by Mans and adapted and modified by Kim and Park. The leadership included 18 questions of self expectation, rehearsal, goal setting, self reward, self criticism, and constructive area. The stress coping method was developed by Folkman and Lazarus, and adapted and modified by Park. The stress coping method included 24 questions of problem focused coping, seeking social support, emotion focused coping, and wishful thinking. Results: The best stress coping method was wishful thinking and the score was 2.81. The priority order of stress coping method included social support, problem focused coping, and emotion focused coping. The self-expectation, goal setting, self-criticism proved to be highly relevant factors. The explanation power of stress coping method was 29.1 percent. The self expectation, rehearsal, self reward, and self criticism were passive coping methods and the explanation power was 15.4 percent. Conclusions: The self leadership is the most important factor to fulfill the interpersonal relationship abilities, major satisfaction, and satisfaction with clinical practice. The self leadership leads to stress coping ability.

Determining the Relationship among Organizational Commitment, Occupational Stress, and Interpersonal Relations according to Adult Attachment Styles of Clinical Dental Hygienists

  • Background: This study aimed to identify the types of adult attachment and determine the relationship between adult attachment and job factors in dental hygienists. Ultimately, it was necessary to identify the need for a secure attachment to improve the quality of clinical dental hygienist's services. Methods: Data of 454 clinical dental hygienists working in dental hospitals or clinics were collected. The research tools consisted of items related to the general and work characteristics of dental hygienists (9 items), adult attachment styles (36 items), organizational commitments (12 items), occupational stress (15 items), and interpersonal relations (18 items). Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of each tool was ${\geq}0.7$. Results: Most of the participants had fearful attachment styles, followed by dismissing-avoidance, security, and preoccupation. Security was the highest level of organizational commitment according to the adult attachment style, although the differences of the levels were insignificant. For occupational stress, preoccupation was the highest, followed by fearful, security, and dismissing-avoidance, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). For interpersonal relations, security was the highest, followed by preoccupation, dismissing-avoidance, and fearful in order, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). Conclusion: Job stress and interpersonal relation ability according to the adult attachment style of clinical dental hygienists had significant results. Thus, the development of attachment improvement programs by personal style, development of differentiated clinical education and its application, and improvements in the adult attachment styles of clinical dental hygienists would be required rather than simply presenting the needs to collectively improvement the working environment.

간호대학생의 코로나19 스트레스와 디지털중독의 관계에서 대인관계능력의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Interpersonal Ability in the Relationship between COVID-19 stress and Digital Addiction in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 코로나19 스트레스와 디지털중독 간의 관계에서 대인관계능력의 매개효과를 확인하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2개 도시의 대학교 간호학과 1~2학년 학생 207명을 대상으로 2022년 4월 1일부터 4월 30일까지 온라인 설문조사로 자료수집을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 22.0과 AMOS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 코로나19 스트레스는 대인관계능력(β =.21, p =.015)과 디지털중독(β =.20, p =.003)에 대해 유의한 직접 효과가 있었다. 그러나 간접효과는 유의하지 않아 코로나19 스트레스와 디지털중독 사이에서 대인관계능력의 매개효과는 없는 것으로 확인되었다(β =.07, p =.314). 본 연구결과를 토대로 디지털중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고 디지털중독의 예방 및 관리 프로그램 개발 연구를 제언한다.

How Job Stress and Psychological Adaptation Predicting Interpersonal Needs Among Female Migrant Manufacturing Workers in China: A Structural Equation Model

  • Background: This study aimed to explore relationships between job stress and psychological adaptation and how they related to interpersonal needs through mood states among female migrant manufacturing workers. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 16 factories in Shenzhen, China. Sociodemographic, job stress, psychological adaptation and other psychological information of was collected. Structural equation modeling was performed to delineate the internal relationship between variables. Results: The hypothetical structural equation model exhibited acceptable model fit among female migrant manufacturing workers (χ2 = 11.635, df = 2, χ2/df = 5.82, p = 0.003, RMSEA = 0.090, CFI = 0.972, SRMR = 0.020). Job stress was directly associated with mood states and interpersonal needs; Psychological adaptation was directly associated with mood states and indirectly associated with interpersonal needs; Bootstrapping tests demonstrated mediation effect of mood states in the way from psychological adaptation to interpersonal needs. Conclusion: Female migrant manufacturing workers who suffered stress from job and the process of psychological adaptation may have worse mood states and workers with worse mood states are more likely to develop unmet interpersonal needs, a proximal factor of suicidal ideation.

Differences in the relationship, learning perception and satisfaction of nursing students before and after clinical practice

  • The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was a meaningful change in the learning perception and interpersonal relations of nursing students after completing clinical practice. Participants were 32 nursing students in the third grade. The research data were collected by questionnaire consisting of interpersonal relations and learning perception. The analysis of data was analyzed by SPSS 21 Version. General characteristics were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation between variables was analyzed by Pearson's relation, and differences of variables before and after clinical practice were analyzed by paired t-test. The results of the study are as follows. In clinical practice, interpersonal abilities showed a significant correlation with learning outcomes (R =.351, p =.049). The interpersonal abilities of nursing students improved significantly(t =2.264, p =.13) after completion of clinical practice. Nursing college students recognized that their interpersonal abilities had improved after completion of clinical practice, and the improvement of interpersonal abilities was statistically supported. Considering that the interpersonal relationship was an important factor in the clinical practice related stress of the nursing college students, it was meaningful that the interpersonal ability improved after the clinical practice. The positive correlation between interpersonal abilities and learning perceptions in clinical practice of nursing college students suggests future directions for future research. The results of this study will provide basic data on education that will enhance the satisfaction of students' clinical practice and improve their learning outcomes.

감사증진프로그램이 만성 조현병 환자의 심리사회적·신체적 건강에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Gratitude Enhancement Program on Psycho-social and Physical Health of Chronic Schizophrenia)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the Gratitude Enhancement Program on self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, gratitude disposition, subjective happiness, stress index in patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods: The research was designed for a nonequivalent control group before and after the test design. The subjects of this study were 29 patients in the experimental group and 28 patients in the control group. The Gratitude Enhancement Program was conducted three times a week for a total of nine sessions. Data were collected with questionnaires and measured with autonomic nervous system response (stress index) and was analyzed by t-test, chi-square test, Fisher's exact, and repeated measures ANOVA with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: There are no significant differences in the homogeneity test of a dependent variable between groups. The experimental group showed significant higher scores of self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, gratitude disposition, and subjective happiness than the control group. There was no significant difference in the stress index between two groups. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, this Gratitude Enhancement Program can be a good nursing intervention to improve self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, gratitude disposition, and subjective happiness for chronic schizophrenia patients.

일부 치위생학과 학생들의 병원실습 만족도와 스트레스 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction and Stress Factors of Clinical Practice for Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 이번 연구는 치위생(학)과 학생들의 임상실습에 대한 만족도와 임상실습 스트레스 요인을 파악하고, 임상실습만족도와 스트레스 요인들 간의 상관관계를 알아보고자 2012년 5월 21일부터 6월 22일까지 병원 임상실습 경험이 있는 치위생(학)과 학생 232명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 스트레스 요인은 학제별로 환경요인, 역할요인, 대인관계요인, 이상과 가치 요인, BEPSI 모든 요인이 4년제보다 3년제에서 높았고(p<0.01), 실습만족도에 따른 스트레스 요인은 불만족일 때 모든 요인이 높았으며, 그 중 환경요인이 가장 높았다(p<0.001). 교육기관에 따라 환경요인은 치과대학병원이 가장 높았고, 대인관계요인과 이상과 가치요인은 치과병원, 역할요인과 BEPSI는 치과의원이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.01). 병원분위기가 나쁠 때 환경요인이 가장 높았고, 역할요인, 대인관계요인, 이상과 가치요인, BEPSI순이었다(p<0.001). 병원실습 스트레스 요인간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 실습만족도, 환경, 역할, 대인관계, 이상과 가치, BEPSI 간에는 양의 상관관계가 있었고(p<0.01), BEPSI에 가장 큰 영향력을 보이는 스트레스 요인은 대인관계였으며, 환경, 이상과 가치 순으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 임상실습에서 낯선 환경과 대인관계의 부족으로 학생들은 평소보다 스트레스 지수가 더 높을 수 있으므로 학생들이 스트레스에 대해 스스로 잘 대처할 수 있는 능력을 키워주기 위한 체계적인 임상실습 운영방안을 마련해야 할 것으로 생각된다.

일 전문대학생의 지각된 스트레스, 자기효능감, 대인관계능력이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Perceived Stress and Self-efficacy, Interpersonal Relationship on College Life Adaptation in College students)

  • 본 연구는 전문대학생을 대상으로 지각된 스트레스, 자기효능감, 대인관계능력이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구참여자는 B시의 전문대학생 2,956명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 대학생활적응은 평균 3.56±0.66점이었고, 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활적응의 차이는 학부(F=9.932, p<.001), 학과 친구의 수(F=5.681, p<.001), 친밀한 교수 여부(t=-3.739, p<.001)에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 대상자의 대학생활적응은 지각된 스트레스(r=-.543, p<.001)와 부적상관관계, 자기효능감(r=.667, p<.001), 대인관계능력(r=.679, p<.001)과 정적상관관계를 나타냈다. 대상자의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 지각된 스트레스(β=-.191, p<.001), 자기효능감(β=.280, p<.001), 대인관계능력(β=.394, p<.001)으로 나타났고, 설명력은 56.7%로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 높이기 위한 교육 및 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

간호대학생의 대인관계능력, 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력의 융복합적 관계 (Convergence Relationship among Interpersonal Competence, Clinical Stress and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 대인관계능력과 임상실습스트레스가 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 간호대학생의 임상수행능력을 높이기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 임상실습을 경험한 3, 4학년 242명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 통해 조사한 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 대인관계능력은 3.36점, 임상실습스트레스는 2.80점, 임상수행능력은 3.48점으로 나타났다. 대인관계능력과 임상실습스트레스는 양의 상관관계가 있었으며 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력은 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 전공만족도와 대인관계능력으로 설명력은 26.4%로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 임상실습 교육과정 개발시 전공만족도와 대인관계능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

임상실습기관의 물리적인 환경요인과 대인관계요인에 대한 스트레스와 스트레스 량의 관련성: 치위생과 학생 대상으로 (Relevance of dental hygiene students' stress and its physical environmental and interpersonal factors in clinical practice institutions)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relevance of stress and stress amounts of physical environment factors and interpersonal factors of clinical practice institution of dental hygiene department students. It is in order to create condition to focus on clinical practice institution. Methods: The participants in this study were 231 dental hygiene department students engaged in clinical practice; the survey was conducted from September 1 to 30, 2018, using a structured questionnaire (1040460-A-2018-036). The questionnaire consisted of items on participants' general characteristics (4 items), characteristics of the clinical practice institution (9 items), stress from environmental factors (8 items), stress from interpersonal factors (7 items), and stress amounts of BEPSI (5 items). The collected data were compared and analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results: The physical environment and interpersonal factors of stress according in clinical practice institutions were statistically significant. In case of a number of dentists (p<0.05), subjective practice atmosphere (p<0.001), practice satisfaction (p<0.001), and kindly teach (p<0.001). The factors affecting the amount of stress on the characteristics of the clinical practice institution were that the dental clinic, the relationship with the dental hygienist is common, the number of dentists is 4 or more, and there is no resting room. Conclusions: The selected clinical practice institutions should provide dental hygiene department students with places to relax and a systematic hands-on manual.
