  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a novel concept that allows a large number of objects to be connected to the Internet while also allowing them to be controlled remotely. The Internet of Things is extensive and has become an almost inseparable part of our daily lives. Users' personal data is frequently obtained by these linked gadgets and stored online. In recent years, the security of acquired data has become a major concern. As devices grow more linked, privacy and security concerns grow more pressing, and they must be addressed as soon as possible. IoT implementations and devices are particularly vulnerable to attacks that might adversely affect customer security and privacy, which might have an impact on their practical utility. The goal of this study is to bring attention to the security and privacy concerns that exist in IoT systems. To that purpose, the paper examines security challenges at each level of the IoT protocol stack, identifies underlying impediments and critical security requirements, and provides a rapid overview of available security solutions for securing IoT in a layered environment.

  • The term Internet of Things (IoTs) refers to the future where things are known daily through the Internet, whether in one way or another, as it is done by the method of collecting various information from various sensors to form a huge network through which people, things and machines are helped to make a link between them at all time and anywhere. The IoTs is everywhere around us such as connected appliances, smart homes security systems and wearable health monitors. However, the question is what if there is a malfunction or outside interference that affects the work of these IoTs based devises? This is the reason of the spread of security causes great concern with the widespread availability of the Internet and Internet devices that are subject to many attacks. Since there aren't many studies that combines requirements, mechanisms, and the attacks of the IoTs, this paper which explores recent published studies between 2017 and 2020 considering different security approaches of protection related to the authentication, integrity, availability and confidentiality Additionally, the paper addresses the different types of attacks in IoTs. We have also addressed the different approaches aim to prevention mechanisms according to several researchers' conclusions and recommendations.

  • The use of Internet of Things(IoT) in smart cities and smart homes is essential. The security of the sensor nodes, which are the core of the IoT, is weak and hacking attacks are severe enough to have a fatal impact on real life. This research is conducted to improve the security of the Internet of Things by developing a lightweight secure communication protocol for the Internet of Things, and to build a safe Internet of Things environment suitable for the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. It contributes to building a safe and convenient smart city and smart home by proposing key management and identifier development to increase the confidentiality of communication and the establishment of an Internet authentication system.

  • The Internet of Things allows you to connect everything around you to your network and make it easy to reach anytime, anywhere. The Internet of Things uses various devices such as smart devices and wireless sensors connected to the network. When any small information about command or result is exposed to the outside during communication between each terminal, there is a serious risk. The Internet has a characteristic that it is much weaker than general network in terms of security because it has limited hardware performance. In this paper, I propose an enhanced security architecture of Internet of Things considering the limitation of hardware.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new concept associated with the future Internet, and it has recently become a popular concept to build a dynamic, global network infrastructure. However, the deployment of IoT creates difficulties in satisfying different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and achieving rapid service composition and deployment. In this paper, we propose a new QoS control scheme for IoT systems. The Markov game model is applied in our proposed scheme to effectively allocate IoT resources while maximizing system performance. The results of our study are validated by running a simulation to prove that the proposed scheme can promptly evaluate current IoT situations and select the best action. Thus, our scheme approximates the optimum system performance.

  • High expectations are posed on the blockchain-based internet of things (IoT), in which IoT and blockchain technology is combined to obtain trust in the Internet, where trust appears impossible to obtain. However, applications of current blockchain-based IoT technology to real-world scenarios appears to be significantly more difficult owing to limitations regarding scalability and security. In this paper, the difficulties to implement blockchain networking technologies for IoT and digital businesses are investigated and practical solutions such as sharding, off-chain, de-idetification and P2P crypto-currency exchange are explored. In further work, a blockchain platform for IoTs which provides scalability and security will be implemented according to this research results, and compared with conventional blockchain platforms.

  • The Internet of Things era is approaching where all the things are equipped with smart sensors and communicate through internet. The three core technologies of the Internet of Things are 'detection technology' to get information from things and the environment, 'wired and wireless communications and network infrastructure skills' that support to connect things to the internet, and 'service interface technology' that processes the information appropriate to various services.   • In this paper, we propose an approach to apply network-based moving target defense into Internet of Things (IoT) networks. The IoT is a technology that provides the high interconnectivity of things like electronic devices. However, cyber security risks are expected to increase as the interconnectivity of such devices increases. One recent study demonstrated a man-in-the-middle attack in the statically configured IoT network. In recent years, a new approach to cyber security, called the moving target defense, has emerged as a potential solution to the challenge of static systems. The approach continuously changes system's attack surface to prevent attacks. After analyzing IPv4 / IPv6-based moving target defense schemes and IoT network-related technologies, we present our approach in terms of addressing systems, address mutation techniques, communication models, network configuration, and node mobility. In addition, we summarize the direction of future research in relation to the proposed approach.
