  • Owing to the development of IT technology, a computerized system in various ways such as a variety of company's businesses, factory automation system and hospital healthcare system is introduced and operated. And it is possible to say that a computer system is more important than anything else to the extent that all businesses are suspended in case the system is down. Attention should be always paid to environmental management such as temperature, humidity and fire in server room for the normal operation of system in this situation. It is thought that there is necessity for a low-cost system which independently monitors environment round the clock in the situation where the person in charge doesn't pay attention and which informs a person in charge in real time when an event occurs for the operation of this small server room. Consequently, it is to be hoped that the suspension of service provided by computer system, which may occur due to a specific event, can be prevented.

  • The application traffic analysis is getting more and more challenging due to the huge amount of traffic from high-speed network link and variety of applications running on wired and wireless Internet devices. Multi-level combination of various analysis methods is desired to achieve high completeness and accuracy of analysis results for a real-time analysis system, while requires much of processing burden on the contrary. This paper proposes a novel architecture for a real-time traffic analysis system which improves the processing performance on multi-core CPU environment. The main contribution of the proposed architecture is an efficient parallel processing mechanism with multiple threads of various analysis methods. The feasibility of the proposed architecture was proved by implementing and deploying it on our campus network.

  • Due to the dramatic improvement of Internet technologies and digital content authoring, many independent media creators produce various digital items and share them with others. In this situation, the independent media platforms must support the well-defined usage rights(licenses) specification, usage monitoring, and license trading trace for enabling complex types for selling, buying, using and reproducing digital items created by independent media creators. In this paper, we design an extended policy model based on the ODRL policy class model and implement a user interface prototype to specify multi types of usage rights like use, own, share, and cede. Our proposed model can be referenced to create license management modules of the independent media platforms.

A Study on Problem Identification and Diagnosis from Virtual Network (가상 네트워크 망으로부터 문제점 식별 및 진단에 관한 연구)

  • Various services such as IPTV, VoIP, multimedia over IP, on-line payment, on-line game, etc. were made possible due to the rapid advance of the network. In order to provide secure and seamless services over the network, the Internet service providers are performing continuous network monitoring using NMS. The main function of NMS is to perform a diagnosis to identify the potential causes of failure from event messages. In this paper, a simulation tool, named as NetDoctor, is presented which is capable of identifying and diagnosing the potential problems in the virtual network, before the network model is constructed. In NetDoctor, a series of various and artificial failure is imposed on the virtual network, and it was analyzed if NetDoctor could identify the problems. The experimental results on virtual network show that the developed tool is very effective in identifying and diagnosing the problems. The presented simulation tool can be used in the design of robust network.

  • School absenteeism is considered one of the early predictors of school drop-out and serious delinquency or criminal behavior. The primary goal of the current study was to explore the protective and risk factors related to changing school absenteeism over time based on the ecological-systemic perspective. The data was derived from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) using the 2011 and 2012 survey waves collected from 2,378 elementary school students. Using this data, Panel Fixed Effects Analysis was conducted. Major findings indicated that daily computer usage, parental abuse, school activity attendance, and school grades had an effect on students missing school days over time. Specifically, high levels of computer usage and parental abuse were related to increased school absenteeism, while high levels of school activity attendance and school grades were associated with decreased school absenteeism. These findings emphasized the importance of predictive intervention for children and suggested the need to construct a school absenteeism monitoring system in South Korea.

  • Wireless communication technologies, especially smartphones, have become increasingly common. Wireless technology is widely used in general industry and this trend is also expected to grow with the development of wireless technology. However, wireless technology is not currently applied in any domestic operating nuclear power plants (NPPs) because of the highest priority of the safety policy. Wireless technology is required in operating NPPs, however, in order to improve the emergency responses and work efficiency of the operators and maintenance personnel during its operation. The wired telephone network in domestic NPPs can be simply connected to a wireless local area network to use wireless devices. This design change can improve the ability of the operators and personnel to respond to an emergency situation by using important equipment for a safe shutdown. IEEE 802.11 smartphones (Wi-Fi standard), Internet Protocol (IP) phones, personal digital assistant (PDA) for field work, notebooks used with web cameras, and remote site monitoring tablet PCs for on-site testing may be considered as wireless devices that can be used in domestic operating NPPs. Despite its advantages, wireless technology has only been used during the overhaul period in Korean NPPs due to the electromagnetic influence of sensitive equipment and cyber security problems. This paper presents the electromagnetic verification results from major sensitive equipment after using wireless devices in domestic operating NPPs. It also provides a solution for electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) from portable and fixed wireless devices with a Wi-Fi communication environment within domestic NPPs.

  • P-type fire control panel, currently in use, has a big hazard that can cause the large scaled human death tolls and property damage in the massive fire because it is difficult to identify in real time the location of fire outbreak and whether search-device are broken down or not. In this paper, I suggest that the integrated fire automation system on based p-type fire control panel should be used, which can detect in real time the signal that occur when whether search-device are broken down or not, and can detect the arisen circumstances information of p-type fire control panel on the fire signal in the far away. The devised systems have designed and embodied the analysis of circumstances information and module that can analyze the circumstances information from the p-type fire control panel and the part of internet access installment which can gather and deliver the circumstances information from the fire prevention facility receiver.

  • This study is to examine the randomized controlled trials abroad studies on ICT-based convergence studies in the elderly, and to investigate the types and effects of ICT-based interventions. Eight studies that meet the selection criteria were selected from 326 studies identified by three databases and hand-searching. As a result of this study, the most commonly used ICT were the three internet, followed by two tablets and mobile phones, one twoway videoconferencing, one Kinect, one robot, and one Blood Glucose Monitoring System. These results could be used for ICT-based convergence studies in Korea, and further studies should be conducted with higher quality studies such as randomized controlled trials.

  • In the growing standard of people's lives, we want desire to create eco-friendly water space what is called the Green Technology that is in the limelight. These green space is introduced the cultural contents and we use the water, music, and nature as tool of emotional verbalism. Presently, when we want to make scenario, water landscape scenario is made by director. but these systems have some disadvantages as the cost and limitation of direction. There is a growing interest in the integrated control system based on PC and Internet. In this paper, it is about fountain control system. Previous research area was only one using programmable logic controller or industrial PC. we proposed the development of intelligent green fountain culture system for healthy emotional self-concept. And we made automatic weather sensing system that is designed by the intelligent green fountain culture system to estimate the time-variant system.

  • Recently, agricultural product of inferior qualify and cheap is imported form china, so domestic farmhouses go through difficulty. Moreover, consumption decreasing because of a new about carcinogen detect of chinese agricultural product. Information through certification system construction of domestic agricultural product is offered to customers for distinguish from chinese, and certain inspection standard for importation restriction should be ready to solve this problem. In this paper, we designed and implementation of AIGT system through adopting GAP of international standard for safety inspection of agricultural product and traceability. Also, we building of AIGT system through introduce of monitoring system and guidance as well as management system for offered to information by customer and helped farm management by producer.
