Influential Factors for COBIT Adoption Intention: An Empirical Analysis

  • In recent years, IT organizations are in the process of introducing IT Governance as the concept and measure of transparency, accountability and effectiveness of IT activities and control for managing governance processes. In this paper, the influential factors for IT organizations to adopt COBIT(The Control Objectives for Information and related Technology) which is a typical framework for effective IT Governance execution were classified and analyzed empirically into internal and external factors. Internal factors were designed based on influential factors in the theory of innovation diffusion, and external factors were designed based on influential factors from outside certification which were absent in COBIT and expertise support from the outside. The result of this study showed that understandability, transition and effectiveness which were internal factors had no effect on COBIT introduction, and only expertise support among certification and expertise support which were external factors had significant effects. This result shows that there are lack of COBIT supports and introduction in internal IT organizations. It is expected that the result of this study will allow strategic approach of COBIT adoption in future by verifying influential factors of COBIT introduction within IT organizations.

의류제품에 대한 주관적 지식이 정보탐색과 평가규칙에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Sujective Knowledge on Information Search and Evaluation Rules for Apparel Products)

  • This study was to identify dimensions of subjective knowledge and to test the structural model of the effect of subjective knowledge on information search and evaluation rules for apparel products. A questionnaire was administered to 668 females living in Seoul, Taejon, and Cheongju, and the data were analysed by using LISREL 8. The results of this study were as follows: First, consumers' subjective knowledge regarding apparel products consisted of five factors; Style knowledge, Fashion Knowledge, Store Knowledge, Fabric/Management Knowledge, and Brand knowledge. Those factors were influenced by the experience related with apparel products. Second, the subjective knowledge influenced information searches. That is, internal search was significantly influenced by fashion knowledge and store knowledge, while external search was significantly influenced by fashion knowledge and fabric/management knowledge. Third, the subjective knowledge had indirect effects on evaluation rules via search activities (e.g., internal and external), suggesting that the internal search was mediated in relationship between subjective knowledge and compensatory rule, while the urtemal search was mediated in the relationship between subjective knowledge and noncompensatory rule. Therefore, this study implies that subjective knowledge plays an important role to explain consumers' decision making processes such as information search and evaluation.

Mediating Effect of Meta-cognition between Locus of Control and Self-efficacy

  • Meta-cognition is the knowledge and cognition of cognitive phenomena, including the control of ones own memory, comprehension, and thought processes. Meta-cognition is similar to self-awareness, which is the understanding of oneself, and affects people's attitudes and behaviors. This study demonstrated the mediating effect of meta-cognition between internal locus of control and self-efficacy. Internal locus of control refers to the steady faith that any outcome is related to one's own efforts. Self-efficacy is a collection of personal strong belief that one individual can achieve his or her own goals. In this study, if a person has a tendency to adopt an internal locus of control, meta-cognition is improved, and self-efficacy can in turn be increased if meta-cognition is improved. This study conducted an empirical analysis through questionnaires conducted on 260 university students. The results of the research demonstrated that there is a highly positive correlation between meta-cognition, control position, and self-efficacy. In addition, this study emphasized that positive meta-cognition with internal locus of control can lead to positive attitudes and behaviors, and positive results.

Convergence Modeling and Reproduction of a Bigyeokjincheolloe (Bomb Shell) Based on Three-dimensional Scanning and 𝛾-ray Radiography

  • The Bigyeokjincheolloe (bomb shell), a scientific cultural heritage, has outstanding historical value for sustaining a gunpowder weapon of Joseon. In this study, the bomb shell was modeled through three-dimensional (3D) scanning centered on the external shape and 𝛾-ray radiography-based on the internal shape. In particular, to improve the contrast in the radiographic image, optimization and image processing were performed. After these processes, the thickness of the inner wall (2.5 cm on average) and the positions of the three mold chaplets were clearly revealed. For exhibition purposes, the 3D model of the bomb shell was output to a 3D printer and the output was rendered realistic by coloring. In addition, the internal functional elements, such as Mokgok, fuse, mud, gunpowder, and caltrops, were reproduced through handwork. The results will contribute to the study of digital heritages in two ways. First, the internal and external shapes of the bomb shell were modeled by fusing two different technologies, namely, 3D scanning and 𝛾-ray radiography. Second, the internal shape of the bomb shell was constructed from the original form data and the reproduction was utilized for museum exhibitions. The developed modeling approach will greatly expand the scope of museum exhibitions, from those centered on historical content to those centered on scientific content.

건축물의 화재안전설계를 위한 각국의 내·외장재 기준 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Standards of Internal and External Materials of Each Country for Fire Safety of Buildings)

  • In Korea, the concentration of cities has led to the high-rise and deep-rise of buildings. In the case of such high-rise buildings, there is a high risk of fire, and the number of internal fires expanding to the outside continues to increase. The Korean Building Act continues to change the ban on combustible exterior materials, and combustible exterior materials are currently not available for buildings with three stories or more than 9 meters, and detailed test standards for finishing materials are also strengthened after the Ulsan residential and commercial fires in 2020. However, the path of fire in the actual building is through a series of processes in which the fire in the compartment grows internally and expands through openings supplied with ventilation factors. Therefore, other than just external materials, design criteria for embedded materials also need to be established. The purpose of this study is to compare standards for internal and external materials at home and abroad and to secure basic data for fire safety design of buildings based on them.

  • Fully three-dimensional Large Eddy Simulation calculations of the flow past 2D cavity are conducted to study the purging of neutrally buoyant or dense miscible contaminants introduced instantaneously inside the cavity. The length to depth ratio(L/D) is 2 and Reynolds number based on the depth is 3,360. Fully developed turbulent inflow are fed at the inlet from precursor simulation of channel flow. Mean flow pattern and unsteady features are investigated based on the experimental data of Pereira and Sousa. From the study of mass exchange processes, it is found that the mechanism of removal of the contaminant is very different between the non-buoyant and buoyant cases. In the buoyant case, internal wave motion which interacts with a strong cavity vortex is dominant in the ejection mechanism of the contaminants.

  • This paper deals with finite element analyses of residual stresses causing popping up which are induced in micromachining processes of a mcroaccelerometers. After heating the tunnel gap up to 100 degree and get it through the cooling process and the additional bean up to 80 degree and get is through the cooling process. We learn the thermal internal stress of each shape and compare the results with each other after heating the tunnel gap up to 400 degree during the Pt deposition process. We want to seek after the real cause of this pop up phenomenon and diminish this by change manufacturing processes of microaccelerometer by electrostatic force.

유한요소법을 이용한 자동차 로어암의 액압성형 해석 (Analysis of Hydroforming Process for an Automobile Lower Arm by FEM)

  • Tubular hydroforming has attracted increased attention in the automotive industry recently. In this study, a professional finite element program for analysis and design of tube hydroforming processes, has been developed, called HydroFORM-3D, which is based on a rigid-plastic model. With the developed program HydroFORM-3D, the hydroforming process for an automobile lower arm is analyzed and designed. The manufacturing process for a lower arm consists of tube bending, preforming, and final hydroforming. To accomplish successful hydroforming process design, thorough investigation on proper combination of process parameters such as internal hydraulic pressure, axial feeding, and tool geometry is required. This paper describes the influences of forming conditions on the hydroforming of a lower arm by using simulation to predict strain and tube shape during bending, preforming, and final hydroforming processes.

  • Many companies have integrated their internal processes with the aid of information technology. Now the focus is on interconnecting trading partners. Collaborative commerce (also known as c-Commerce) has a key role. It is not just about making it easier for business to communicate. It is about by breaking down barriers along the entire length of the supply chain. Some c-Commerce links are permanent, others get established when and where they are needed. c-Commerce is helping business in electronic supply chains to improve product delivery while cutting costs, to strengthen relationships and to reduce lead time. In this paper, we propose the concept of collaborative commerce, and design and implement Collaborative Commerce Portal (CCP) system of small and medium enterprise for marketing support. The technical definition of CCP is set of all technical elements can do collaborative commerce between small and medium enterprises with Internet or Internet. The target information of CCP includes usual and unusual information and all other information of companies used as process events. Through this, it enhances efficiency of business processes, core information sharing and marketing activation.

3차원 X-ray 영상 기법을 이용한 전자부품 검사 기술 연구 (Study for Inspection Method of Electronic Components Using 3-D X-ray Imaging Technology)

  • There are technological changes to reduce the size and weight of electronic components and to accommodate multi-functions in them. To meet this trend, more complicated technological processes are required. To maintain the processes, more accurate inspection systems are also necessary. Therefore, new inspection methods are needed, which is differ from conventional inspection methods such as electrical test methods ICT(In-Circuit Test), FCT(Function Test) and visual test using optical equipments. One of the possible approaches is non-destructive test using X-ray. In this paper, an inspection method using X-ray is developed and applied to inspection of soldering state and internal defects of electronic components.
