The computer simulation program that calculates the transient heat load transferred to a passenger vehicle has been developed. Method for modeling mathematically various kinds of the heat load was presented and the derived equations were solved numerically. To find out the accuracy of the simulation program, the correlation of experimental and analytical results was demonstrated. By using this program, the typical characteristics about temperature distribution and instantaneous or of vehicle body color, material of glass, air-conditioning capacity, driving direction, and speed. Under a steady-state condition, the ratios of the heat load, resulting form vehicle body, glass, and interior part, were 35%, 29%, and 36%, respectively.

The wood veneers were clearly rainbow-colored with natural dyes. As shown through Korean-style jacket with stripes of multi-colors beyond traditional obang colors (red, blue, yellow, black and white colors), eco-friendly coloring methods representing Korean colors familiar from old times could be used nobly by coloring natural wood veneer being raw material of wood products. In terms of industrialization, the study to manifest korean color, substituting chemical stains such as dye and pigment, would be necessary. In order to realize this purpose, the study about economical dyeing materials and characteristics, that is, mordant, dyeing and drying techniques showing environment-friendly coloring and high coloration level ought to be followed. In addition to this, investigating discoloration transition by fading test for interior and exterior uses would have to be carried out.

Mendini works architect of magazine. He is a era-transcending designer who started design in late fifties and still works actively. In his design, there are some ordinary emotions which make people easier to approch to than without having any resistance. The purpose of this research paper is to define the traits of Mendini's design work. There are four main characters in his design; post-modernism, combination of art and design, use of contemporary art and traditionary italian colors and redesign. Mendini interpret tradition in modern way. His individuality came from the tradition, and also he modernized italian tradition to it.

Scientific methods for grading urushi lacquer includes general properties (viscosity, pH etc), and quantitative analysis of moisture, urushiol, gum, laccase content etc, and properties of coating layer such as set to touch drying time, gloss, color difference, delamination strength, tensile strength of film. The grading results evaluated by scientific method showed n order with chinese urushi lacquer (E) > domestic urushi lacquer (A) > japanese urushi lacquer (C) > chinese urushi lacquer (D) > domestic urushi lacquer (B). It is different from hose of traditional methods. Therefore, a more accurate grading of urushi lacquer should be ade by combining traditional method with scientific method.

The objective of this study was to increase the utilizability of domestic thinning and small diameter wood as applying in pattern design which can be used in interior decoration, wood craft and wood furniture, and in developing the designs of furniture and household items. We investigated the physical and mechanical characteristics of Betula platyphylla Wood by pressurization and heat treatment. Color change is clear, and the wood density is increased with increasing pressing rate. The compressive strength, modulus of rupture and modulus of elasticity in bending strength are decreased as heating time is increased after pressing. However, shrinkage is improved after pressing and heating.

본 연구는 여러 분야에서 언급되어지고 있는 인테리어트렌드를 조사 정리하고, 각 트렌드의 특성을 비교 분석하여 이들을 대표할 수 있는 키워드를 순수, 자연, 혼성의 3개로 추출하였다. 이를 중심으로 2008년 인테리어트렌드를 분류하고, 각 트렌드를 표현하는 색채를 조사하고 재정리하여 3개의 키워드를 대표할 수 있는 색채를 팔레트로 작성하였다. 작성된 색채 팔레트는 거주자들이 개성에 맞는 실내공간을 디자인하는데 효과적으로 활용될 것이며 디자이너와의 상호이해도 높일 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

The branch of the laser imaging has implemented 3D graphics, color graphics and video images after it drew a simple image by development the salvo's X-Y scanner in 1960 year. Now it is used as the multimedia show of an event and an advertisement. The latest issue of laserist is the ability to generate laser images with the same ease and speed associated with traditional computer graphics. All laser projector used in the interior of a countris was imported from other country. The most important component of the laser projector is the speed and the accuracy of a actuator and the software which actuates the controller on computer. In this paper we developed the controller with a universal joint and the PC based user interface software in order to implement the laser image of two dimension, and will prepare the base of beginning the home laser projector

LED 광원의 광학적 성능이 발전함에 따라 광원으로서의 광학효율이 기존 광원을 대체할 정도의 수준을 만족하고 있으며, 이에 의해 실내 조명광원으로서 활용도가 점차 증가하고 있다. 하지만, LED 광원의 경우 기존 광원과는 판이한 분광분포를 가지고 있으며, 소형 광원의 군집체로서 조명기구를 형성하기 때문에 이를 이용하는 사용자들에게 이전의 조명기구와는 크게 다른 느낌, 분위기 등을 가질 수가 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존광원과 LED 광원과의 차이점을 분석하고 이러한 차이점 즉, 분광분포 및 조명기구의 구성 형태 등에 따른 피험자들이 느끼는 색 편차, 조명 분위기의 변화 등을 평가 시험할 수 있는 실험실의 구성안을 제시하였다.
