『침구자생경(鍼灸資生經)』과 『십사경발휘(十四經發揮)』의 수혈배열 비교연구 (A Study of the Alignment of Meridian Points Found in the Zhenjiuzishengjing (鍼灸資生經) and the Shisijingfahui (十四經發揮))

  • There has been much recent interest and research into meridian theory. Two main types of meridian theory generally identified: the forward heart meridian system and the circulative meridian system. Little attention has been paid to how these types of alignments operate in the Zhenjiuzishengjing (鍼灸資生經) and the Shisijingfahui (十四經發揮). This paper reviews the meridian systems of these two texts and compares them to the meridian and collateral theory found in the Huangdineijing (黃帝內經). It compares the meridian point systems of the various texts and their alignment by location and meridian to shows how the meridian-based method used in the Zhenjiuzishengjing is similar to the forward heart meridian system found in the "Benshu" (本輸) section of the Neijing while the method used in the Shisijingfahui is close to circulative meridian system found in the "Jingmai" (經脈) section of the Neijing.

  • The Bauhaus educational method gave the strong influences on Modern Japanese art and design education. In the 1920s and 1930s, Japan allied with Germany and Italy politically and tried to receive German system to be modernized. The reception of the Bauhaus and Moholy-Nagy's photographic theory was one of those activities at that time. Japanese intellectual class went to the Bauhaus and studied there; Ishimoto Kikuchi, Nakata Sadanosuke, Mijutani Takehiko, Yamawaki Iwao and Yamawaki Michiko(Yamawaki Iwao's wife). Especially, Yamawaki Iwao studied about the architecture at the Bauhaus, but his interest moved toward the photography and the photomontage based on Moholy-Nagy's theory. He studied at the photography workshop of the Bauhaus presented by Peterhans irregularly. Even though Yamawaki Iwao was an architect, he wanted to be admitted as an expert for the photomontage that he particularly studied at the Bauahus as a Bauhaus member. He had presented many articles about the photomontage at the photography magazines in Japan in order to introduce it to Japan since he returned in 1933. Thus, Yamawaki Iwao is the important person when we look back the Modern Japanese design and art history. In Japan, the art and design systems are managed by the Bauhaus educational system until now, and it has become a kind of cultural legacy in Modern Japan; The university of Tama and The university of Tsukuba are the representative educational systems which are based on the Bauhaus legacy. However, Yamawaki Iwao had been concealed as a photographer in Japanese design and photography history until the retrospective discuss named by 'Bauhaus syashin(Bauhaus Photographies)' at the photography magazine, Deja-vu in 1995 and the retrospective exhibition titled as 'Bauhaus syashin(bauahustofografie)' in 1997. This study rethinks of Yamawaki Iwao's historical position while looking at the term as 'Bauhaus Syashin(Bauhaus Photographies)' used in Japan. It is very important to bear in mind Moholy-Nagy's wide variety of approaches to photography at the Bauhaus, but it is impossible to name it 'Bauhaus style'. 'Bauhaus style' is the international style in architecture, but that was never a Bauhaus style in photography. Eugene J. Prakapas indicated that the vague term of 'Bauhaus Photographies' in his article in 1985 as well. This study considers the historical background for the mistake of the term of 'Bauhaus Syashin(Bauhaus Photographies)' in Modern Japanese history, while looking at Yamawaki Iwao's photomontage faintly entering on the historical stage again to discuss the reception of the photomontage from him. In particular, Some of Yamawaki Iwao's photomontage presented as the wall photography in Japan during the Second World War, that was related to the propaganda of Japanese government. It had not been known well in the modern Japanese art and design history because it was related to a declaration of the Second World War by Japan. However, the historical position of his photomontage is very important for Japanese history when we rethink of the reception of the Bauhaus and Moholy-Nagys' photographic theory to build up the Japanese modern history. In the result, this study wants to discuss that the mistake of the term of 'Bauhaus syashin(Bauhaus Photographies)' in Japan is related to the interpretation for the the historical position for Yamawaki Iwao's photomontage in the reception of Bauhaus and Moholy-Nagy's photography in Japan.

센서 네트워크 기반 강의실 제어시스템 구현 (Implementation of A Lecture Room Control System Based on a Sensor Network)

  • 최근 들어 센서 네트워크에 대한 관심이 증가됨에 따라서 다양한 분야에서 이를 활용한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 센서 네트워크 기반 강의실 제어 시스템을 제안하고 구현한다. 강사의 강의 이력 정보를 센서 네트워크를 통하여 수집하고, 이 정보를 활용하여 강사가 강의실에 들어갈 때 강의실 내 PC, 빔 프로젝터, 전등 등을 강의에 적합한 형태로 제어해 주면 효과적인 강의 진행이 가능하다. 본 논문에서 제안한 강의실 제어 시스템이 효과적으로 동작할 수 있도록 센서 네트워크를 구축하고 성능 실험을 한다. 이를 통하여 강의실에 설치한 센서 노드의 메시지 발생 주기와, 센서 노드 간 통신이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있도록 강의실 내 배치된 센서 노드의 수를 최적화할 수 있는 값을 구하였다.

Discussion on VR Storytelling Production

  • In this paper, we present that Virtual Reality (VR) is a type of media that has attracted interest in storytelling and media utilization. VR was first discussed as a specific narrative medium with traditional story medium. Via this discussion, The innate difference of VR is that the role of the media users in which the narrative is communicated were active in the development of the narrative unlike that of most classical narrative media. We also discussed specific features related to VR based on the theories of traditional literary criticism, movie reviews, and plays. Through these discussions, we aruged two directions of VR storytelling production as an narrative medium, its specificity, and its expressiveness for VR producers. First, story processing and characters can be introduced as part of continuing a new narrative by altering the interaction history that appears in VR stories to user interest ratings. Second, VR interaction responds intuitively to the idea that it represents a trajectory across the story surface of all possible interactions. More specific theories and controvercials are discussed.

  • 시간의 변화에 따라 사용자의 관심도는 변화한다. 이 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 연령, 시기, 계절 등에 따라 변화하는 사용자의 서비스 관심도를 고려하기 위하여 서비스에 대한 관심도를 동적 가중치로 부여하여 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 추천하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 사용자에게 제공한 서비스 이력 데이터를 기준으로 시기나 연령에 따른 일반적인 서비스 규칙을 저장하고, 실시간으로 변화하는 서비스의 관심도를 고려한 최신의 서비스 규칙을 지속적으로 추가하여 사용자의 관심 변화를 반영하는 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법이다. 이를 위해 사용자에게 제공하는 일련의 서비스는 트랜잭션으로 고려하고 서비스는 항목으로 고려하여 서비스의 연관관계를 그래프로 표현하고, 이를 기반으로 빈발 서비스 항목을 발견한다. 발견된 빈발 서비스 항목은 사용자에게 유용한 최신의 정보 서비스를 의미한다.

Bounds on plastic strains for elastic plastic structures in plastic shakedown conditions

  • The problem related to the computation of bounds on plastic deformations for structures in plastic shakedown condition (alternating plasticity) is studied. In particular, reference is made to structures discretized by finite elements constituted by elastic perfectly plastic material and subjected to a special combination of fixed and cyclic loads. The load history is known during the steady-state phase, but it is unknown during the previous transient phase; so, as a consequence, it is not possible to know the complete elastic plastic structural response. The interest is therefore focused on the computation of bounds on suitable measures of the plastic strain which characterizes just the first transient phase of the structural response, whatever the real load history is applied. A suitable structural model is introduced, useful to describe the elastic plastic behaviour of the structure in the relevant shakedown conditions. A special bounding theorem based on a perturbation method is proposed and proved. Such theorem allows us to compute bounds on any chosen measure of the relevant plastic deformation occurring at the end of the transient phase for the structure in plastic shakedown; it represents a generalization of analogous bounding theorems related to the elastic shakedown. Some numerical applications devoted to a plane steel structure are effected and discussed.

치과기공의 악안면 보철분야 도입을 위한 이론적 고찰 (A study of introduction for Maxillofacial prosthesis in Dental Technology)

  • As a dental technician, the aim of the present study on maxillofacial prosthesis was to research its relation with dental technology and further development aspects by looking into its history, kinds, production materials and process. Dental technicians are to expect a great potential to work as maxillofacial prosthetist if having an interest in education of maxillofacial prosthesis field, and developing and operating the education process by expanding the range of dental technology. This article is to present overall history of maxillofacial prosthesis and some background information on the materials which have been used from the past. The maxillofacial field plays essential functions of mastication and speech, as well as performs appearance, which evokes good or bad feelings as an instant and instinctive response. The use of maxillofacial prostheses is not merely the replacement of a missing part of the face, resulted from injuries, but a rehabilitation process to help individuals come back to society. Rehabilitation includes both patient's physical and psychological recovery, such as self-esteem and selfconfidence. There has been a rapid development in application potentials of maxillofacial prosthesis technology which include implant, which can penetrate skin, and new materials. In order to produce maxillofacial prosthesis, general procedures of maxillofacial laboratory work should be understood first. Maxillofacial prosthesis and the dental prosthesis have many similarities in its academic perspective and originality. Maxillofacial prosthesis should be added into the curriculum for dental technology to achieve co-enhancement of the two fields.

Loading rate effect on superelastic SMA-based seismic response modification devices

  • The application of shape memory alloys (SMAs) to the seismic response reduction of civil engineering structures has attracted growing interest due to their self-centering feature and excellent fatigue performance. The loading rate dependence of SMAs raises a concern in the seismic analysis of SMA-based devices. However, the implementation of micromechanics-based strain-rate-dependent constitutive models in structural analysis software is rather complicated and computationally demanding. This paper investigates the feasibility of replacing complex rate-dependent models with rate-independent constitutive models for superelastic SMA elements in seismic time-history analysis. Three uniaxial constitutive models for superelastic SMAs, including one rate-dependent thermomechanical model and two rate-independent phenomenological models, are considered in this comparative study. The pros and cons of the three nonlinear constitutive models are also discussed. A parametric study of single-degree-of-freedom systems with different initial periods and strength reduction factors is conducted to examine the effect of the three constitutive models on seismic simulations. Additionally, nonlinear time-history analyses of a three-story prototype steel frame building with special SMA-based damping braces are performed. Two suites of seismic records that correspond to frequent and design basis earthquakes are used as base excitations in the seismic analyses of steel-braced frames. The results of this study show that the rate-independent constitutive models, with their parameters properly tuned to dynamic test data, are able to predict the seismic responses of structures with SMA-based seismic response modification devices.

  • 본 논문에서는 OpenMP 기반의 병렬프로그램을 대상으로 각 스레드의 수행양상을 추적할 수 있는 감시 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 감시 시스템은 각 스레드의 레이블링 정보를 이용하여 접근역사를 통한 분석기법이 대부분 이였다. 이는 대량의 정보 생성으로 인한 시간적, 공간적 복잡도를 높이는 문제점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 관심 정보에 따른 스레드만을 대상으로 추적 정보를 생성하고 사용자에게 직관성 높은 정보로 제공하기 위한 시각화 시스템을 동시에 제공한다. 시각화를 위한 모델은 영상정보를 기반하여 구성되며 이는 영상처리 기법을 통하여 프로그램 수행양상을 인지할 수 있게 한다. 따라서, 본 논문은 병렬프로그램을 효과적으로 디버깅할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

  • 요즘 초중고 학교 교육 수준이 높아짐과 더불어 국사의 관한 관심도도 높아지고 있다. 국가 문화재에 대한 정보를 알리기 위해 관심과 흥미를 가질 수 있게 하는 스마트 앱을 개발하고자 한다. 대상자들의 관심도를 높이기 위해 문화재 관련 앱을 게임 형식으로 만들고자 한다. 게임은 현재 스마트폰 사용자의 증가와 더불어 가장 쉽게 접할 수 있으며 게임 속도를 동반한 흥미를 증대시킬 수 있어 문화재 정보 검색을 언제 어디에서나 가능하도록 모바일 게임 앱으로 개발하고자 한다. 이 앱은 모델2 Architecture MVC 기법을 사용한다.
