Traditional culture contributes to the diversification of modern fashion design and the inheritance of local cultural identity. This study aims to identify the characteristics of traditional handicrafts reflected in modern fashion design in India. For this purpose, it focused on Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra, and Ritu Kumar, who are currently leading the Indian fashion design field. The methodology involved conducting literature research and analyzing case studies. In the literature, the techniques of Indian traditional crafts such as embroidery, dyeing, and weaving were examined and five design elements of traditional crafts were defined. Through content analysis of 30 images from the three designers' Instagram accounts, the design characteristics of traditional handicrafts expressed in contemporary Indian fashion design were derived: cultural inheritance using traditional Indian clothing items, traditional materials and practices applied to contemporary clothing, craftsmanship that artistically improves complex details using embroidery techniques, various combinations based on the traditional meaning of colors, and narrative expression using patterns containing India's cultural identity. Incorporating these traditional handicrafts into fashion design, closely linked to everyday life, aids in conveying and enhancing their significance. The cases demonstrate the successful integration of conservation into contemporary fashion design. This study sheds light on the application of traditional culture in modern fashion design.

본 연구의 목적은 학부생 대상 학제간 융합 전공수업이 수강생의 대인관계, 자원 정보 기술의 활용, 의사소통 역량 향상의 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 학제간 융합수업 수강생 43명을 실험집단으로, 융합수업과 관련이 없는 교과목 수강생 44명을 통제집단으로 나누었다. 각 역량 및 하위영역의 역량 향상 정도를 알아보기 위해 집단 내변화량 차이 대응표본 t-검정, 사후검사 집단 간 차이 독립표본 t-검정을 시행하였다. 연구결과, 학제간 융합수업은 대인관계 역량 향상에는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였으나, 자원 정보 기술의 활용 역량과 의사소통 역량은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 학제간 융합수업 설계 시, 기존의 자원 정보 기술의 활용과 의사소통 역량 향상 활동에 대한 수정이 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 대학생 핵심역량 진단평가 도구를 활용하여 융합수업의 효과를 검증한 것으로서 핵심역량 기반 융합수업의 경험적 연구 사례로서 의의가 있다.

Pseudogenes are genomic regions that contain gene-like sequences that have a high similarity to the known genes but are nonfunctional. They are categorized into processed, unprocessed, and unitary pseudogenes. Unprocessed pseudogenes generated by duplications can be problematic in sequencing approaches in molecular diagnostics. We discuss the risk of misdiagnosis when investigating genes with pseudogenes of high homology, and describe a method for identifying these small and annoying differences between parent genes and pseudogenes, including parent gene-specific assay design.

본 연구는 디지털 미디어를 활용한 비공식 명상 기반의 훈련 애플리케이션을 제안하고, 이를 통해 향후 마음챙김 훈련의 UI/UX디자인 개발의 기초 자료로써 활용되는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 마음챙김에 대한 사용자 인식을 분석하기 위해 트위터 데이터 기반의 텍스트 분석과 전문가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 또한 기존 출시된 애플리케이션이 제공하는 기능이 훈련으로써 실효성이 있는지 확인하고자 세분화하여 분류하고, 이에 대한 평가를 바탕으로 문제점을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 비공식 명상기반의 훈련 서비스의 필요성을 도출하였다. 그에 따라 비공식 명상기반의 마음챙김 훈련 프로세스에 적합한 디자인 프로세스를 선정하고, 훈련 효과의 증대를 위해 심리학과 긍정컴퓨팅(positive computing) 연구를 사용자 경험 설계에 활용하여 애플리케이션 디자인에 적용하였다. 최종적으로 프로토타입 디자인을 진행하고, 향후 진행될 마음챙김 훈련 서비스의 UI/UX 디자인 개발 연구에 활용될 수 있는 점을 제언하여 후속 연구와 서비스 개발에 기여할 수 있다고 판단한다.

In a cDNA microarray experiment using Cy3 and Cy5 as labeling agents, particularly for the direct design, cDNAs from some genes incorporate one dye more efficiently than the other, which is referred to as the gene-specific dye bias. Dye-swaps, in which two dyes are switched on replicate arrays, are commonly used to control the gene-specific dye bias. We developed a simple procedure to extract the gene-specific dye bias information from a partial dye swap experiment. We detected gene-specific dye bias by identifying outliers in an X-Y plane, where the X axis represents the average log-ratio from two sets of dye swap pairs and the Y axis exhibits the average log ratio of four forward labeled arrays. We used this information for detecting differentially expressed genes, of which the additionally detected genes were validated by real-time RT-PCR.
