혼효림(混淆林)에서 강우량(降雨量)이 유출량(流出量) 및 수관차단률(樹冠遮斷率)에 미치는 영향 (Relation of Run- off and Canopy Interception to Rainfall in a Mixed Forest)

  • 물오리나무와 소나무의 혼효림으로 구성된 혼효림(混淆林)에서 1975면(年) 1년간(年間) 강우량(降雨量)에서 수관차단(樹冠遮斷)과 유출특성(流出特性)을 조사분석(調査分析)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같았다. 1. 강우량(降雨量) 1072.7mm에 대해 수관차단율(樹冠遮斷率)은 192.3%이고 그 량(量)은 년강우량(年降雨量) 1072.7mm 중(中) 20.7mm이었다. 2. 강우량(降雨量)이 적은 봄과 초여름에는 수관(樹冠)에 의한 차단율(遮斷率)추은 20~50%이고 강우기(降雨期)인 여름에는 15% 이내(以內)로 되었다. 3. 매(每) 강우량(降雨量)이 10mm 전후(前後)일 경우에는 강우량(降雨量)이 약 50%가 수관(樹冠)에 의해 차단(遮斷)되고 20mm가 넘을 경우는 약 20% 정도가 차단되는 경향이 있었다. 4. 년간(年間) 평균(平均) 유출율(流出率)은 24.9%이고 유출량(流出量)은 $1000m^2$당 2,666.4l이었으며 강우량(降雨量)과 유출량(流出量)과의 관계(關係)는 그림 1과 같았다.

  • The international COSPAS-SARSAT program is a satellite-based search and rescue distress alert detection and information distribution system and best known as the system that detects and locates emergency beacons activated by aircraft, ships and so on. However, the current message format of the system is not encrypted so that, if the rescue signal can be intercepted by the unintended receivers, the subsequent rescue activities can be handled in a hostile environment. So, this article concerns how to deal with the rescue signals in a secure way and proposes some adequate encryption methods and the corresponding key management.

  • Five species, Hypothenemus californicus, Coccotrypes carpophagus, Othotomicus angulatus, Tomicus brevipilosus and Xyleborus seriatus were recognized firstly from Korea. Two species of them, H. californicus and C. carpophagus were preserved at Life Science Museum of Brigham Young university in U.S.A. X. seriatus intercepted at Kobe in Japan from imported yew log which had shipped at Nampo in North Korea was sent by Dr. F. G. Browne in England. Thirteen recorded species were also examined in this study.

光合成有效放斜와 葉向과의 關係 (The Relationship between Photosynthetic Active Radiation and Leaf Orientation)

  • Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) affects the growth of plants as well as their photosynthetic rates. A mathematical model for intercepted solar radiation on the tilted leaf with any azimuth angle was established and the leaf orientation in which receives the maximum solar radiation was determined each month, during the growing season, and for an year. PAR was maximized at the leaf elevation of 50。~60。 in the winter, at that of 20。~40。. On the whole the leaves of tilt angle 0。~40。 received much radiation comparing with those of other tilt angles. The theoretical tendencies were compared with the distribution of leaf orientation measused practically. The average leaf elevation of maple tree was 17.0。$\pm$12.0。, and that of ginkgo was 29.8。$\pm$16.0。. Several results from other literatures support our suggestion that cumulative effevct of the relationships between surface normal vector and a vector pointing in the direction of the radiation determine the leaf orientation.

강당보음방이 자가면역 당뇨모델인 NOD mice의 혈당강하에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Kangdangboeumbang on the Anti-diabetic Activity in NOD Mice)

  • This study was aimed to verify the anti-diabetic activity of Kangdangboeumbang(KBB) in NOD mice which is Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus(IDDM). The reduction of blood glucose after oral administration between 14 weeks by 2 weeks period to a NOD mice in KBB extract treatment group was showed from 7 day after comparing with control group. KBB extract treatment group increasd insulin secretion amount of serum than control group and decreased IFN­γ production. The pancreatic β-cells is destroyed by Th1-dependent autoimmune disease in NOD mice. KBB extract treatment group intercepted the progress of edematous islet controlling inflammatory mononuclear cells of infiltration that also destruction of pancreatic β-cells electively in a NOD mice.

  • 본 논문에서는 수축생성기(Shrinking Generator)의해 생성되는 비선형수열의 성질을 분석한다. 또한 수축생성기에 의해 생성되는 비선형 수열을 삽입수열로 해석하여 제어레지스터에서 생성되는 수열의 성질을 이용하여 출력된 수축수열의 위상이동차를 분석하여 가로챈 일부 수열로부터 원래 수열을 복원해내는 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, The Monte Carlo Simulation is performed in complex geometries which are composed of obstacles intercepted path of photon. Light is assumed to be particle and has particular direction and weighting value. The illuminance distribution is calculated proportional to the summation of weighting values striking area element. The result of simulation is consistent with that of experiments in a few error.

  • 원시다항식을 특성다항식으로 갖는 두 개의 LFSR로 구성된 수축 생성기를 삽입 생성기로 해석하고, 생성된 수열들 간의 위상이동차(phase shift)에 대하여 분석한다. 또한 위상이동차를 이용하여 수축 생성기에 의하여 생성된 수열의 부분수열을 알 때 나머지 수열을 구하는 방법을 제안한다.

Seed-borne Brachycladium penicillatum Intercepted under Plant Quarantine Inspection in Korea

  • A fungus detected from the importing seeds of Papaver rhoeas under plant quarantine inspection in Korea was identified as Brachycladium penicillatum Corda. It differed in morphological characteristics from a similar species, B. papaveris, which was known to form no macroconidiophores and no microsclerotia. Since the first interception in 2006, this fungus has frequently been found from importing seeds of Papaver spp. It was detected from 31 out of 282 seed consignments imported from 2006 to 2011. To prevent its introduction to Korea, the seed consignments infested by B. penicillatum were destroyed or reshipped.

  • This paper presents an estimation method of national wind resource potential using a national and GIS(Geographical Information System). The wind resource potential is classified into theoretical, geographical and technical potentials and each category narrows down the previous definition by excluding impossible area to be developed as a wind farm using GIS datasets for onshore and offshore. As a basic unit of wind energy potential at a certain area, API(Average Power Intercepted) is calculated from WPD(Wind Power Density) given by a national wind map which is established by numerical wind simulation, so that a logical and relatively accurate potential estimation is possible comparing with other methods based on a field measurement interpolation which is inevitable to avoid critical assumptions.
