The Utility Power Factor Control system of Photovoltaic Power Generation System

  • The photovoltaic power generation system has a great future as clean energy instead of fossil fuel, which has many environmental problems such as exhausted gas or air pollution. In a utility interactive photovoltaic generation system, a three phase inverter is used for the connection between the photovoltaic array and the utility. This paper presents a three phase inverter for photovoltaic power system with current controller, voltage controller, PLL control system and the phase detector of interactive voltage by using dq transformation. The proposed inverter system provides a sinusoidal ac current for domestic loads and the utility line with unity power factor.

  • The existing DSP for utility interactive photovoltaic generation system control generally uses floating point process type. Because it is easy to use for number crunching, however, it is too late and too expensive. Fixed point process DSP TMS320F2812, has high control speed and is rather inexpensive. A very complicated real system can be simulated using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system in a virtual environment Therefore, HIL system can speed up research and development process with a little effort. Also current DSP for utility interactive photovoltaic generation system adopts floating point process type, which is easy to use for number crunching. However, fixed point process DSF, TMS320F2812, has high control speed and is rather inexpensive. This paper presents more efficient method for MPPT control using TMS320F2812 along with HIL System.

  • The change in 21st century imaging media technology is changing our modern visual system. Virtual reality HMD devices, one of the core technologies of 5G, reproduce the new visual system. However, there is a lack of analysis and understanding of the visual operating system to understand the visual system of the fast-changing variety of imaging media. This study analyzed the three visual systems appearing in the recent imaging media art area and presented an engineering perspective algorithm for its procedures and methods. Through these results, we want to build algorithms that understand the visual system of virtual reality HMD devices.

  • In this paper, the operating characteristics of a 3 kW class grid-interactive photovoltaic(PV) power system was analysed from January 1998 to December 2000. The construction of the PV system includes a DC/AC inverter for grid connection, PV module, and data Monitoring & Acquisition system. The major results of the field test of the 3 kW class grid-interactive PV system showed that the system utilization rate was 13.83% the conversion efficiency of the inverter was 88% at an over half load, and the PV system generated the electricity more then 300 kWh per month.

  • A photovoltaic panel is a device that, through the photovoltaic effect, converts luminous energy into electric energy. Photovoltaic generation system used infinity of solar energy, cost of fuel is needless and there in no air pollution or waste occurrence. This paper summarizes the results of these efforts by offering a photovoltaic system structure in 30[kW] large scale applications installed in Mokpo National University dormitory roof. The status of photovoltaic system components, are inter-connection and safety equipment monitoring system will be summarized as this article. This describes configuration of utility interactive photovoltaic system which generated power supply for dormitory. In this paper represent 30[kW] utility photovoltaic system examination result.

상호작용적 작품에서 놀이속성: 모리스 베나윤(Maurice Benayoun)의 작품을 중심으로 (Attributes of "Play" in Interactive Art: Interpreting Maurice Benayoun's Artworks)

  • The study mainly discusses appreciation of interactive art works seen from the perspective of play attributes that make spectators glimpse the truth of things. The general studies of interactivity, as one of remarkable features in contemporary art, are regarding the relation between the effects of digital media and interactivity as well as video games. From the preceding discussion, I analyze the effects of the appreciating interactive art works which are focused on new sensory systems, the methods to intuit the essence of the art works. Based on the concept, as I investigate the play attributes found in the interactive art works, this study gives attention to the possibility that if the spectators can reach the inherent aspects of interactive art works, while interacting them. Thus to discuss the properties of the play, this article studies play concept of Johan Huizinga(1872-1945), psychologist and anthropologist and play theory of Hans Georg Gadamer(1900-2002) who considers play as a metaphor for art. As Huizinga thinks acting is the important attribute of play, Gadamer argues whenever the term 'play' is used, we should think about 'to-and tro movement' and the movement is absence of goal as well as endlessly renews through repetition. Then what we should pay attention to, seeing the essence of art and play as similar? That is, Gadamer claims, we can understand the truth of things through the play. To apply the play concept to the interactive art works, I research the works of Maurice Benayoun(1957 - ), French interactive artist. By employing interactivity, he attempts to extend and affect the experience of his art works to one of social phenomenon. Striving this, spectators can widen and deepen the breadth of their intuition and recognize the essence of art works. It is the interactive art works that can be the apex of the transformation of structure from the play to the art. The endless repetitive process of play, which is free creation-annihilation process, is similar with the interactive experience of spectators that is variable, de-centered, and multi-sensory. The pure action of the play lets us recognize, sense and accept the world and through the system of interactive art experience, we can expand the horizons of perception. Interactive art works with these play attributes are capable of playing the role that the spectators glimpse the truth of things and experience the world around them.

  • 테이블탑 디스플레이는 대형 화면에 손동작을 통하여 입출력이 이루어지므로 사용자와 시스템 간의 직관적인 상호작용이 가능하다. 일반적으로 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠는 사용이 편한 직관적 상호작용을 필요로 하기 때문에 테이블탑 디스플레이는 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 구현에 매우 적합하다. 본 논문은 이러한 테이블 탑 디스플레이 인터페이스를 활용한 전통요리 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 제작 기술에 대해 설명한다. 이 기술은 요리에 필요한 손동작을 테이블탑 디스플레이에 터치 제스처 형식으로 직접 가할 수 있어 기존의 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠의 한계를 벗어나 몰입강화와 협동 작업에 의한 향상된 교육효과를 얻을 수 있다. 제안한 기술을 콘텐츠로 구현하여 그 효과를 확인하였고 향후 다양한 제스처와 상호작용을 추가하여 그 유용성을 향상 할 계획이다.

플로팅 홀로그램을 이용한 인터랙티브 사이니지 개발 (Development of Interactive Signage using Floating Hologram)

  • 홀로그램 기술과 ICT 기술의 접목을 통해 우수한 제품과 서비스가 가능한 소상공인의 경쟁력을 확보하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 플로팅 홀로그램 기반 인터랙티브 사이니지 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 인터랙티브 사이니지 시스템은 소상공인의 홍보와 마케팅에 저비용으로 활용 가능하며 3D 홀로그램 영상으로 메뉴를 소개하고 사용자의 손동작에 반응하는 다양한 콘텐츠 제공도 가능하다. 개발된 시스템은 립모션 인식 범위가 좌우 60cm, 150도 내 반경에서 10개의 손가락 움직임을 초당 290프레임 속도로 감지할 수 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 립 모션 오브젝트의 물리적 접촉 실험을 통해 립모션 기기 가까이서 사용자의 동작 인식을 호버 존과 터치 존으로 기능 영역을 구분하여 가상 터치 기능이 정상적으로 동작하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, according to developing industry and life style, power consumption have been increased year after year. Currently these much power demand from power consumer is weakening the allowable power reserve margin in summer. As one of the remedies about this problem, the small scale utility interactive photovoltaic system(UIPVS) is considered for auxiliary power source. For this system one of problems to be solved technically, system operating power factor. Generally in case of small scale system, system is operated in unity power factor. But this unity power factor operating mode decrease power factor viewed from utility because UIPVS supply active power to utility. Therefore this paper propose UIPVS with power factor correcting function and this system is analyzed.

  • Effective use of agricultural informations is crucial for 21 century farming. An interactive agricultural machinery information system was developed. It consisted of databases, knowledge bases, expert systems, a server engine, clients for a multimedia agricultural machinery information system based on Java and distributed objects technology. It is supposed to be served through a nationwide super information communication network for my farmers to utilize it interactively and quickly. Several user-friendly interface programs for users were developed to use texts, static k dynamic images, and expert systems easily. Tools for providing the informations were built with JAVA. Information providers permitted to access to the system such as agricultural machinery companies can easily add or modify the informations using distributed object technology. This system can interact among three groups : prime information provider (or system manager), permitted information providers, and farmers.
