  • We, in this paper, design the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by using the membership function modification algorithm and ANFIS, which are clustering and learning the input-output data. The membership function modification algorithm constructs the more concrete fuzzy controller by clustering the input-output data from the fuzzy inference system. ANFIS construct the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by learning the input-output data from the above controller. We showed that the fuzzy controller designed by our method could have the stable learning and the enhanced performance.

  • It is required to network to make more intelligent packet processing and forwarding for increasing bandwidth and various services. Classification provides these intelligent to network which is acquired by increasing number of rules in classification rule set. In this Paper, we propose a classification algorithm efficient to scalable rule set ahead as well as Present small rule set. This algorithm has competition to existing methods by performance and advantage that it is mixed with another algorithm because il does not change original shape of rule set.

  • LIBL(Linguistic Instruction Based Leaning) is an effective learning algorithm for fuzzy controller which interpretes and uses natural language of human The possibiliy of the LIBL algorithm to the fuzzy control of dynamic systems is investigated in this paper. Rise time, percent overshoot, and steady stste are proposed as suitable meaning elements for dynamic systems. A supervisor is able to give "higer-level linguistic instruction" to the learning algorithm through these three meaning elements Simulation results for a DC servo motor show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 가보 웨이블릿을 통해 얼굴 이미지로부터 특징을 추출하고, 그에 Genetic Algorithm 을 통해 구한 특징점별 가중치를 적용하여 얼굴 인식을 하는 방법을 소개한다. 각 특징점별로 가중치를 적용하는 방법은, 기존의 Gabor wavelet 을 사용한 얼굴 인식 방법들에 비해 높은 인식률을 보인다. 특징점별 가중치들은 진화 알고리즘을 통해 학습 되어진다.

  • Recently, Korean shipbuilding industry is keeping up the position of world wide No. 1 in world shipbuilding market share. It is caused by endless efforts to develope new technologies and methods and fast development of IT technologies in Korea, to raise up its productivities and efficiency in shipbuilding industry with many kinds of optimizing methods including genetic algorithm or artificial life algorithm... etc. In this paper, we have suggested the artificial life algorithm with relay search micro genetic algorithm. and we have improved a defect of simple genetic algorithm for its slow convergence speed and added a variety of solution candidates with applying relay search simple genetic algorithm. Finally, we have developed intelligent agent system for ship CAE modeling. We have tried to offer some conveniences a ship engineer for repeated ship CAE modeling by changing ship design repeatedly and to increase its accuracy of a ship model with it.

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate a validity of control signal through a design of Exoskeleton Robot Arm's capable of intelligent recognition as a human arm's motion by using realtime processed data of generated EMG signals. By an intelligent algorithm, the EMG output value of human biceps and triceps muscles contraction can be recognized and used for the control over exoskeleton arm corresponding to human's recognition and judgement. The EMG sensing data of muscles contraction and relaxation are used as the input signal from human's body to operate the Exoskeleton Robot Arm thus copying human arm motion. An intelligent control of Exoskeleton Robot Arm is to design the analog control circuit which processes the input data, and then to manufacture an integrated control board. And then abstracted signal is passed by DSP signal processing, Fuzzy logic algorithm is designed for a accurate prediction of weight or load through the intelligent algorithm, and design an Exoskeleton Robot Arm to express a human's intention.

  • Recently, several promising multiobjective evolutionary algorithm such as SPEA. NSGA-II, PESA, and SPEA2 have been developed. In this paper, we also propose a new multiobjective evolutionary algorithm that compares to them. In the algorithm proposed in this paper, we introduce a novel concept, “inherited age” and total algorithm is executed based on the inherited age concept. Also, we propose a new sharing algorithm, called objective classication sharing algorithm(OCSA) that can preserve the diversity of the population. We will show the superior performance of the proposed algorithm by comparing the proposed algorithm with other promising algorithms for the test functions.

  • In this paper, we present a recursive algorithm for the auto-tuning of PID controllers by optimizing a GPC criterion. Also, we develop an intelligent PID controller by combination of a recursive algorithm together with a supervisor, that allows to adjust the main controller parameters (prediction horizon, control weighting, sample time etc.) using some simple rules which is mainly built up through relay tuning experiments. The intelligent PID controller has been implemented successfully on an IBM PC/AT and some simulation results are presented.

  • This paper presents an intelligent autopilot for STT missiles with multiple controllers. The mixed H$_{2}$/H$_{\infty}$ control technique is applied for each controller and implemented by using the genetic searching algorithm. To facilitate automatic switching of multiple controllers under different operating conditions, an error based switching scheme is also combined with the multiple controllers at the higher level, which constitutes a hierarchical intelligent control system. It is shown via computer simulation that the proposed autopilot outperforms the conventional one..

  • For constructing an intelligent multimedia database system for medical diagnosis, we are focusing on two technological points. One is a retrieval algorithm of databases, and the other is a coding algorithm of multimedia contents. For the first, previously we proposed a front-end database preprocessor called“keyword-network”, and in this paper we present its extended model providing an intelligent logical AND searching function especially for medical differential diagnosis. For the second, we present examples of multimedia intellectual coding methods for cardiovascular examination records.
