도서관$\cdot$정보학에서의 인공지능의 응용에 관한 고찰 (Artificial Intelligence Applications in Library and Information Science)

  • In this paper, artificial intelligence applications in library and information science are reviewed. Especially, natural language processing and expert systems are represented as the two major application areas. In natural language processing, natural language interface systems and .question-answering systems are discussed in detail with some specific examples. In the second part of the paper, online search intermidiary systems, reference expert systems, classification and cataloging expert systems are described as possible expert systems to be developed in libraries and information systems. As a conclusion, implications of the artificial intelligence applications for librarians and information scientists are suggested.

인공지능 역량 함양을 위한 경험학습 기반 교육에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Experiential Learning-Based Education for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Competency)

  • We look into the theory of experiential learning, which allows learners to design and organize their own lives, as well as to develop the necessary competencies for students who will be living in intelligent information society. We also investigate the teaching and learning methods, as well as the educational contents of artificial intelligence education, and develop an approach to artificial intelligence education that will develop learners' capabilities. As a result, we have investigated the pedagogical needs for artificial intelligence education in elementary and secondary schools, critically reviewed the discussions on experiential learning-based education for artificial intelligence education in elementary and secondary schools, and proposed a plan. Experiential learning achieves comprehension and knowledge acquisition naturally, as well as subject connection and integration. When preparing for artificial intelligence education, practical methods and procedures for developing capabilities in artificial intelligence education, focusing on in-depth learning, inter-subject linkage and integration, life-related learning, and reflection on the learning process, should be considered unavoidable.

  • Artificial intelligence-based services are expanding into a new industrial revolution. There is artificial intelligence technology applied in real life due to the development of big data and deep learning related technology. And data analysis and intelligent assistant services that integrate information from various fields have also been commercialized. Chatbot with interactive artificial intelligence provide shopping, news or information. Chatbot service, which has begun to be adopted by some public institutions, is now just a first step in the steps. This study summarizes the services and technical analysis of chatbot. and the direction of public administration service chatbot was presented.

대학도서관에서 업무지능과 대시보드의 활용방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Utilization of Business Intelligence and Dashboard in Academic Libraries)

  • 업무지능(Business Intelligence)은 이해관계자들이 경영 의사결정을 내리는데 활용되고 있다. 대시 보드(Dashboard)는 데이터, 정보 또는 지식을 한 눈에 이해할 수 있도록 가시화해 줌으로써 업무지능을 지원해 주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국 ARL 소속 대학도서관의 웹사이트에서 도서관의 성과와 가치에 관한 정보공개 현황을 살펴보았다. 그리고 국외 대학도서관의 웹사이트에서 업무지능과 대시보드의 적용 사례를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 국내 대학도서관의 웹사이트에서 업무지능과 대시보드 정보시스템의 구축 및 활용을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 대학도서관이 웹사이트를 통해 이해관계자들에게 도서관의 성과와 가치를 효율적으로 전달하고 의사소통의 도구로서 업무지능과 대시보드를 활용하기 위한 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

A Study of Establishing a Web Model of Historical and Geographical Information for Youths through 'Collective Intelligence' -Junior Maphistory e-encyclopedia

  • As clearly suggested in the case of Wikipedia, collective intelligence is predicted to develop into the most important platform of knowledge and information in the future society. But it just remains at the level of activities for group projects in the present frame of education and so it doesn't lead to creating collective intelligence. This study looks into an 'information repository model of collective intelligence' that makes it possible to deliver an education process a priori of Shared Knowledge Reservoir to "Junior Digital Nomad", who is definitely and will be in existence, and that further enables them to be active there in reality. Based on this storage model, it suggests a practicable web system model; Junior Maphistory e-encyclopedia, which is appropriately consistent with the features of Web 2.0 and can grow into a general historical and geographical information service.

레이더와 전자정보 장비의 정보융합 특성 분석 (An Analysis of Information Fusion Characteristics between Radar and Electronic Intelligence System)

  • 본 논문에서는 레이더와 전자정보 장비를 사용해서 획득한 각각의 정보를 종합해서 레이더에서 획득한 표적신호와 전자정보에서 획득한 전자파 정보를 융합하는 기술을 제시한다. 레이더와 전자정보 장비를 융합하면 표적을 정확하게 확인할 수 있기 때문에 레이더의 탐지 오차율이 줄어들고 표적에 대한 상세 정보를 확보할 수 있으며, 정보융합 모듈에서 융합한 내용을 종합표시기에서 통합된 정보를 표시할 때 장비의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있으며 표적식별이나 목표물 선정에 사용할 수 있다.

  • Companies had to be more intelligent in order to survive in the rapidly changing environments. We need to make a decision to build the Information System to support the managers in their decision making. That is the reason many companies are tend to have Business Intelligence Systems. But, how can we know the new system would be better than the old system in making us intelligent? The answer is we can do it with the concept of Intelligence Density. In this study, Intelligence Density concept will be introduced, and the way how it can be applied to the information system will be presented. I think Intelligence Density should be studied more to help managers make right decisions for the DSS implementation.

A Study on Correlation Analysis between Emotional Intelligence and Programming Ability

  • Programming ability becomes an essential ability for elementary and secondary school students as well as computer science major students in modern information society. Thus, improving programming ability has long been a research project for computer scientists and teachers in IT areas. There have been many research works for improving programming ability in various ways. At first glance, emotional intelligence is generally known as humanistic intelligence, and nothing to do with computer areas. In the recent works, emotional intelligence has a correlation with various subjects. The purpose of this paper is to analyze correlation between emotional intelligence and programing ability. For this purpose, extensive survey works are carried out and statistical results are analyzed. Based on statistical analysis, it is concluded that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence and programming ability.

사이버위기에 대응하기 위한 국가정보기관의 사이버위협정보 공유 역할에 대한 고찰 (Sharing the Cyber Threat Intelligence on Cyber Crises: The Appropriate Role of the National Intelligence Agency)

  • 국가는 전통적으로 국토를 방위하고 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하는 사명을 가지고 있으며, 이러한 방위의 범위는 지상, 공중, 바다, 우주에 이어 제5의 영역인 사이버 영역을 포함한다. 사이버 영역으로 국가 방위의 범위가 확대 되었지만, 사이버 영역에 있어서는 국가보다는 민간이 더 많은 사이버 관련 출처와 수집수단을 보유하는 정보역전 현상 때문에 정부 주도의 사이버 영역 방위에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 먼저 사이버위협정보를 정의하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 다음으로 정보역전 현상을 극복하기 위한 각국의 노력과 우리나라의 현 주소를 조사하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 정부 주도의 사이버 방위를 위한 국가정보기관의 역할과 사이버위협정보의 민간 공유 모델을 제안하였다. 제안된 모델을 국가정보기관에서 활용한다면 사이버위기에 보다 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 기반 체계가 마련될 것을 기대해 볼 수 있다.

집단지성(Collective Intelligence)과 의사결정의 편향성 (Collective Intelligence and Human Decision Bias)

  • Collective intelligence can be an influential factor of decision-making based on collaboration and information exchange between individuals. Our study explores whether collective intelligence can mitigate the loss aversion effect, bias and error in human judgment, and collective intelligence in online communities can reduce the loss aversion effect. Our community settings display both individual-level and group-level loss aversion effect, investigate effective collective intelligence characteristics like investment commitment, participant experience. Using a multi-method approach our research comprises a web-based experiment with 100 participants investing 3 situations from a real-world community, data from a survey measuring loss aversion behavior of participants. The results suggest the loss aversion effect mitigates under the online-circumstance. Overall, our results suggest that, while collective intelligence mitigates the loss aversion effect, participants do not transfer these results to other settings.
