A pump design system was constructed by several integrating in-house programs and commercial softwares to design and evaluate centrifugal pumps. An agent-based prototype framework has been developed for collaborative design and optimization of a centrifugal pump. This paper introduces the feasible technology needed to construct a pump design system based on software agents. The integrated design system, developed in the present study, was used in designing a centrifugal pump and modifying its impeller shape by using optimization processes to increase the pump performance.

본 논문에서는 최근 급속히 진전되고 있는 자동차 전기 신호의 통합제어를 위한 시스템의 개발에 관한 것을 간략히 기술한다. CAN 통신은 차량 내에 multiplexed network의 개념이 도입되어, 제어의 핵심모듈을 여러 곳에 분산시키고, 이들 각 모들을 직렬 통신 프로토콜을 사용하여 제어하는 기법의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 CAN 통신 프로토콜의 특징을 간단히 기술하고, 이를 이용한 차량의 각종 전기신호와 센서들의 통합제어를 위한 시스템과 프로그램의 개발에 관한 것을 소개 한다.

A 2.8 inch fully integrated SOP employing a high performance LTPS CMOS TFT technology has been developed for mobile display applications. The LCD module is directly interfaced with 3V 6-bit RGB source via timing control circuitry. The integrated data driver comprises a 6-bit hybrid type DAC with low power analog buffer.

Synthetic membrane processes are being increasingly integrated into existing reaction, isolation, and recovery schemes for the production of valuable biological molecules. In many cases they are replacing traditional unit processes. The properties of membrane systems which are most often exploited for both upstream and downstream processing and their permselectivity, high surface area per unit volume, are their potential for controlling the level of contact and/or mixing between two separate phases. Advances in both membrane materials and module design and operation have led to better control of concentration polarization and membrane fouling. After presenting some recent advances in membrane materials and fluid mechanics, we demonstrate how membranes have been integrated into cellular and enzymatic reaction schemes. This is followed by a review of established and emerging synergism between biological processes and synthetic membranes.

A 3-stages Active Microstrip Phased Array Antenn(AMPAA) is implemented using Injection-Locking Coupled Oscillators(ILCO). The AMPAA is a beam scanning active antenna with capability of electrical scanning by frequency varation of ILCO. The synchronization of resonance frequencies in array elements is occured by ILCO, and the ILCO amplifies the injection signal and functions as a phase shifter. The microstrip ptch is operated as a radiation element. The unilateral amplifier is a mutual coupling element of AMPAA, eliminates the reverse locking signal and controls the locking bandwidth of ILCO. The possibility of Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits(MMIC) of T/R module is proposed by simplified and integrated fabrication process of AMPAA. The 0.75.$lambda_{0}$ is fixed for a mutual coupling space to wide the scanning angle and minimize the multi-mode. The AMPAA has beam scanning angle of 31.4.deg., HPBW(Half Power Beam Widths) of 26.deg., directive gain of 13.64dB and side lobe of -16.5dB were measured, respectively.

An integrated inductor using the low-temperature co-fired ceramics(LTCC) technology for low-power electronics was fabricated. In the inductor NiZn ferrite sheet$({\mu}_r=230)$, was embedded to increase inductance. The inductor has Ag spiral coil with 14 turns$(7turns{\times}2layers)$, a dimension of 0.6mm in width, 10um in thickness, and 0.15mm pitch. To evaluate the inductance, including the parasitic resistance, the fabricated inductor was calculated and measured. It was confirmed that calculated values were very close to the measured values. Finally as an application of the LTCC integrated inductor to low power electronic circuits, a LTCC boost DC/DC converter with 1W output power and up to 0.5MHz switching frequency using the inductor fabricated was developed.

The purpose of this paper is the development of Integrated Bio-signal Management System(IBMS) using the network. IBMS is the system to manage the medical signals that measured from the each independent medical measurement system module. Each has a LAN. We developed the file-server network using Novell Netware. Also, we developed the Graphic User Interface software for IBMS using Visual C++ at Windows 3.1.

Photovoltaic(PV) based electricity production is pollution-free at the local as well as the global level, it does not emit greenhouse gases, it dose not dip into finite file resources and it can be easily integrated into the urban environment, close to major consumption needs. So BIPV(Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) system have been increased around the world. This paper presents measuring and analyzing performance of balcony BIPV system which have been installed and monitoring. The system is influenced by conditions such as irradiation, module temperature, shade and architectural component etc. By the results, it is very important to develop optimal design for the balcony PV system.

유비쿼터스 환경에 적용을 위한 목적으로 구현된 통합형 화재수신기의 개발 경험을 보고한다. 유비쿼터스 환경을 위해 수신기가 본래 가지고 있는 능력에 부가적으로 크게 세가지의 추가적인 기능이 구현된다. 즉, 지그비가 적용된 무선감지기와의 접속기능과 이더넷을 통해 전송되는 카메라 영상신호의 화면출력 기능이다. 또한 분산형 화재수신기 간의 시간동기화 기능을 위해 GPS 모듈이 적용되고 구현된다.
