Broadband network based on the Asynchronous Transfer Mode(ATM) concept are becoming the target technology for the emerging Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network(B-ISDN). Since B-ISDN is very complex and requites a great amount of investment, optimum design and performance analysis of such systems are very important. Simulation can be widely used to analyze and examine the broadband network behavior. However, for the complicated system like broadband networks it is extremely difficult and time-consuming to develop a complete model for simulation. In this paper, an object-oriented modeling approach for the broadband network simulation is presented for the effective and efficient modeling. Object-oriented approaches can provide a good structuring capability for complicated simulation models and facilitate the development of reusable and extensible simulation models. We have developed an object-oriented model which consists of object model and behavior model. In the object mode., the components of the broadband network and both constant bit rate(CBR) and variable bit rate(VBR) traffic types of call level, burst level, and cell level are modeled as object classes. In the behavior model, the dynamic features for each object class are represented using the state transition diagram. It has been shown by illustration that objectoriented modeling is an effective tool for modeling the complicated B-ISDN.

최근들어 CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) 기술은 영상 회의, 파일 전송, 음성 사서함, 자동 메시지 전송, 자동 재다이얼 기능 등의 전통적인 분야에서부터 통합 메시징 및 네트워크 팩스 분야에 이르기까지 다양한 분야에 걸쳐서 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전화망을 이용한 CTI 응용분야로 대학에서 입시기간동안 수험생들의 전화 과중에 따른 업무와 학사 행정 서비스를 개선할 수 있는 CTI를 이용한 응용 시스템에 대하여 연구한다. 구현된 시스템은 최근 주목받고 있는 객체 모델링 기법(Object Modeling Technique)을 이용하여 데이터베이스를 설계하고, CTI 호출 제어 시스템을 이용하여 합격자 확인 자동 호출(Automatic Calling System), 합격자 발표 자동 안내(Automatic Response System) 등을 지원하도록 개발한다. 특히 합격자 자동 호출 시스템 구현시 합격 여부를 통지해 줄 때의 음성처리를 위하여 TTS(Text To speech) 모듈을 설계 구현한다.

As a preliminary step to build a complete superyacht hull design program, the development of superyacht profile design system is introduced. The two-dimensional hull profile is decomposed into four local zones depending upon the functionality and connecting continuity of the profile. Characteristics of each zone are investigated and used to generate the model describing the geometric shape of zone using freeform curves. A set of design parameters is derived from the established geometric model. Generation and modification of a model are is by manipulating the chosen parameters. Four zones designed are integrated to form a final profile. An interactive design system performing all the modeling and modification processes is implemented using the graphic user interface system based an Microsoft Foundation Class and OpenCASCADE, a open graphic library. The shapes of the profiles generated by the developed design system are verified with those of built superyachts. The developed design system will be used for the construction of three-dimensional superyacht hull modeling system.

본 연구는 중소 벤처기업의 SCM(공급사슬관리)역량 모델링과 프로세스 개선 방안을 제안하는데 목적을 갖고 실증조사 하였으며, 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 중소 벤처기업의 SCM역량 모델링과 프로세스 개선에 있어 공급사슬 전략계획의 모델링에서 전략적 제휴, 기술개발, 집중화에 있어 전략적 제휴를 가장 중요시하고 그다음 기술개발보다 집중화에 중점을 둘 것을 시사하였다. 그리고 의사결정에서도 경로설정 스케줄링과 네트워크 통합, 3자물류 아웃소싱 중 네트워크 통합을 가장 중시하였으며 관리통제에서도 고객서비스 관리, 생산성 관리, 품질 관리 중 품질 관리를 가장 중시하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 거래지원 시스템에 있어서는 주문 관리 선택, 가격결정 청구, 출하배송, 고객 관리 중 주문 관리 선택을 가장 중시한 모델링과 프로세스상 개선을 요하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 전체적으로 중소 벤처기업의 SCM역량을 극대화시키고 최적화된 프로세스 운영을 위해 해당 조직구성원의 역량과 프로세스 개선 관점에서 기존 전략적 제휴를 통한 네트워크 공유와 통합을 통해 품질 관리를 최적화시키고 거래지원 시스템을 안정화시킴으로써 기업간 전략적 연계를 통한 단순한 전자적 자료 교환 관계를 넘어 정보시스템의 통합 역량을 극대화시킴으로써 차별화된 경쟁우위를 달성할 수 있음을 시사한 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 따라서 스마트 시대에 최적의 공급사슬 통합 역량의 모델화와 최선의 프로세스 관리를 위해 정보통합에 있어 시스템의 호환성과 신뢰성이 바탕이 된 인프라 구축과 함께 SCM역량 극대화를 위한 조직화와 집중화가 선행되어져야 할 것이다.

기존의 관계형 데이터 모델은 복합 객체데이터의 표현, 임의의 데이터 정의ㆍ조작능력, 버전제어, 일반화, 집단화와 같은 의미모델 개념을 지원할 수 없어서 CAD/CAM, 동시 공학(CE), 컴퓨터 통합 생산 시스템(CIM)등의 분야에 응용이 사실상 어려운 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 Booch 방법론, Rumbaugh 등의 OMT(Object Modeling Technique), 그리고 Jacobson의 OOSE 방법론 등을 조합하여 고안된 산업표준의 객체지향적 객체/설계 방법론인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 이용하여 선박용 핸드레일을 생산하는 기업체의 통합생산관리시스템(IPCS, Intergrated Production Control System)을 업무 기능에 따라 모듈별로 나누어 객체 지향 데이터 모델을 설계하였다. 이러한 객체지향적 데이터 모델의 구축은 생산공정의 효율적 관리, 시스템의 유지, 보수 및 확장을 원활하게 하여 경영합리화를 기대할 수 있다.

Stateflow는 임베디드 시스템을 모델링 하는 유용한 도구로 산업 현장에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 Stateflow는 연속적인 동작이나 시간에 따른 시스템의 행동을 표현하기에 불편한 점이 있다. 한편 Timing diagram은 전자공학의 하드웨어 분야에서 시스템의 동작을 표현하기 위한 도구로 널리 사용되고 있는 도구이다. 이 도구는 연속적인 동작이나 시간에 따른 시스템의 행동을 표현하기에 편리한 장점이 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 시스템의 행동을 Stateflow로 모델링 할 때 기존의 불편했던 점들을 개선하기 위해서 Stateflow 도메인에서 Stateflow 표현방식과 Timing diagram 표현방식을 통합하여 모델링 하는 방법론인 $Stateflow_{TD}$를 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문은 Stateflow 모델과 Timing diagram 모델들을 통합하는 방법과 $Stateflow_{TD}$이 가지는 장점에 대해서 설명하였을 뿐만 아니라, 두 가지 예제 시스템을 사용하여 $Stateflow_{TD}$이 유용함을 보였다.

액체로켓엔진 시스템에 대한 동특성 예측 프로그램을 작성하였다. 이 프로그램을 통해 얻은 펌프 시동 시 압력 및 유량 변화 결과를 수류시험장치를 구축하여 실험적으로 검증하였다. 수류시험장치는 실제 개방형 액체로켓엔진 추진제 공급 계통에서 구성품의 형태와 배치위치, 가스발생기와 주연소실로 분기되는 유량비를 기준으로 모사되었다. 동특성 예측 프로그램의 작성을 위해 구성품별 동특성 모델링을 수행하고 엔진 시스템을 기준으로 각 모델링을 순차적으로 통합하였다. 예측 프로그램에 구성품의 동특성 파라미터를 측정 반영하였고 천이 작동 상태에서 엔진 시스템 내의 작동 파라미터 변화 결과를 실험적으로 측정하고 비교 분석하였다.

일반 가입자들에게 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 구성되는 가입자 망은ADSL, VDSL, DOCSIS 등 다양한 종류의 접속방식과 그에 따른 이기종(이기종)의 장비들로 이루어져 있다. 이러한 가입자 망은 전국적으로 분산되어 있으며, 분산된 가입자 망은 효과적이며 집중화된 형태로 관리하기 위해서는 다양한 형태의 접속방식을 지원하는 이기종 장비 및 단말들의 상위 개념으로서 추상적이며 논리적인 객체 관리모델이 필요하다. 본 논문은 통합된 계층적 망관리를 가능하게 하는 인터넷 가입자 망에 대한 모델링 구조론 RM-ODP흘 이용하여 제시하였다. 그리고 가입자 망의 예로서 UML을 이용한 객체지향 방법론을 채택하여 DOCSIS의 HFC 가입자망에 대한 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

Internet shopping mall has dual nature of information technology features defined by the web-based application system and marketing features explained by the shopping marketplaces. The purpose of this study aims at analyzing the consumer's attempt to purchase and re-purchase intention to the internet shopping mall to combine the IT perspective and the marketing perspective. This paper develop the integrated research model with the acceptance behaviors of customers through consumer's purchase decision process(pre-purchase stage and post-purchase stage). The results from an empirical survey as follows: First, the integrated model is valid in predicting the acceptance of the internet shopping malls by using structured equation modeling. Second, there are the differences between pre-purchase stage and post-purchase stage by each conceptual constructs. Finally, the results of MSEM(Multi-group Structured Equation Modeling) indicate the perceived ease of use and perceived trust to the attitude to the internet shopping mall is more effectively predicted at the pre-purchase stage. Vice versa, the perceived usefulness to the intention to the purchase intention of internet shopping mall is more effectively predicted at the post-purchase stage. This study provides an integrative approach to develop the effective and successful internet shopping mall strategy.

Information integration of heterogeneous digital parts libraries or electronic pars catalogs is one of issues in B2B procurements. We need to provide an integrated view for multiple information sources. Utilization of ontologies as the metadata descriptions of the information sources can provide an integrated view. However, in order to integrate independently developed ontologies, the mismatches among them should be resolved. In this paper, we propose an ontology of meta-concepts, i.e. meta-ontology. The meta-concepts play the role of vocabulary to describe the parts library ontologies and provide well-established ontological semantics that helps the ontology modelers to consistently identify parts library concepts and systematically structure them. Consequently, the meta-ontology reduces the differences in the way the parts knowledge is interpreted and ensures the mismatches are confined to manageable mis matches, so that a software program can merge automatically. Modeling ontologies of mold and die parts libraries for B2B e-commerce is taken as an example to show how to use the meta-ontology. We also discuss how a parts library mediation system can automatically merge the well-structured parts library ontologies.
