The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the integrated atmosphere environmental education program on environmental attitudes for 5th graders in elementary school. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the developed atmosphere environmental education program had a positive effect on environmental attitudes of elementary students. Second, it also had a positive effect on their interest and desire of atmosphere environment issues. Third, it had a positive correlation among the 3 subdomains of cognitive, affective and behavioral. In conclusion, the atmosphere environmental education program is more directly effective than lectures on environment following the curriculum to improve students' attitudes toward environment. Therefore, it is required that more systematic research should be done linking with teaching and learning methods, as a follow-up activity.

This research presents a prototype development and implementation of Decision Support System (DSS) for integrated river basin water management for the flood control. The DSS consists of Relational Database Management System, Hydrologic Data Monitoring System, Spatial Analysis Module, Spatial and Temporal Analysis for Rainfall Event Tool, Flood Forecasting Module, Real-Time Operation of Multi Reservoir System, and Dialog Module with Graphical User Interface and Graphic Display Systems. The developed DSS provides an automated process of alternative evaluation and selection within a flexible, fully integrated, interactive, centered relational database management system in a user-friendly computer environment. The river basin decision-maker for the flood control should expect that she or he could manage the flood events more effectively by fully grasping the hydrologic situation throughout the basin.

The principle goal of environmentally-friendly agriculture is to maintain and conserve water and agriculture environment including drinking water resources by properly using agricultural materials such as agricultural chemicals, chemical fertilizers, and other agricultural materials according to act 19 of foster law of environmentally-friendly agriculture. To achieve these goals, we have to establish Integrated Nutrient Management(INM) and Integrated Pesticide Management(IPM) which are most important core technologies for environmentally-friendly rice cultivation. However, there are lack of criteria and technology for evaluation category according to soil management and its soil classes to practice an environmentally-friendly agriculture. Therefore, we should eatablish the standards to produce the safe agricultural products based on the soil physical and chemical characteristics which are basic properties of soil to accomplish the principle aims of environmentally-friendly agriculture.

This paper discusses a methodology where an integrated modelling framework is used to quantify the risk derived from anthropic activities on habitats and species. To achieve this purpose, a tool comprising the Delft3D and HABITAT model, was applied in the Yeongsan river. Delft3D effectively simulated the operational condition and flow of weirs in river. In accuracy evaluation of the Delft3D-FLOW, the Bias, Pbias, Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE), and Index of Agreement (IOA) were used, and the result was evaluated as grade above 'Satisfactory'. The HABITAT calculated Habitat Suitability Value (HSV) for the following eight species: mammal, fish, aquatic plant, and benthic macroinvertebrate. An Area was defined as a suitable habitat if the HSV was larger than 0.5. HABITAT was judged accurately by measuring the Correct Classification rate (CCR) and the area under the ROC curve (AUC). For benthic macroinvertebrate, the CCR and AUC were 77% and 0.834, respectively, at thresholds of 0.017 and 4 inds/m² for HSV and individuals per unit area. This meant that the HABITAT model accurately predicted the appearance of the benthic macroinvertebrates by approximately 77% and that the probability of false alarms was also very low. As a result of evaluating the suitability of habitats, in the Yeongsan river, if the annual "lowest level" (Seungchon weir: 2.5 EL.m/ Juksan weir: -1.35 EL.m) was maintained, the average habitat improvement effect of 6.5%P compared to the 'reference' scenario was predicted. Consequently, it was demonstrated that the integrated modelling framework for habitat suitability assessment is able to support the remedy aquatic ecological management.

The purpose of this study analyzed the overview of corrugated cardboasrd manufacturing industry and then provide direction for improvement. The BREF (BAT reference document) is an important reference for licensees and officer, including the best available techniques for the industry and achievable environmental performance, technical characteristics, and economic information. In the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process, wastewater pollutants are generated throughout the production process, and water is used in the dissociation and aging process. Atmospheric emissions are mostly generated by steam production from boilers and incinerators for the dry process. SO₂, NOx, CO₂, CO, HCl, dust, VOC, and odor were common. In the EU-BREF (European union BAT reference documents) BAT for wastewater have taken up a relatively large proportion. Items of water pollutants in wastewater were common in COD, BOD, N, P, SS, and however EU-BREF had different pollutants such as AOX and salt compared to K-BREF. In order to improve the quality of the K-BREF, it is necessary to devise basic data research method and data acqusitiom method. Consideration should be given to additional environmental management techniques that reflect the emissions characteristics of the corrugated cardboard manufacturing process. In addition, further research is needed to develop methodologies for selecting BATs considering environmental and economic feasibility.

기후변화는 지구환경 시스템을 구성하는 모든 권역에 영향을 미치며 각 권역은 서로 비선형적인 상호작용을 통해 다시 기후변화에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 기후와 지구환경 시스템 사이의 피드백 과정을 종합적으로 분석하고, 변화특성을 진단하여 예측할 수 있는 통합적인 연구가 필요하다. 그러나 현재까지는 기후변화에 따른 지구환경 시스템의 특정 권역의 변화에 대해서만 연구를 진행하고 있어 기후 환경 상호간의 연계 연구 지원이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기후 환경 변화를 종합적으로 분석하고 예측하기 위해 자료 저장, 관리 및 배포를 지원하는 GIS기반의 통합DB 관리시스템을 개발하였다. 통합DB 관리시스템은 VB.NET 2005와 지도 기반의 공간 표현을 위한 ArcObjects 컴포넌트를 이용하여 개발하였다. 먼저 기후 환경 전문가의 요구사항을 고려한 연구 대상 및 자료를 선정하였고, 자료 관리 및 활용 방법을 정의하였다. 또한 연구 자료의 효율적인 검색을 위하여 데이터를 표준화하였으며, 이를 적용한 데이터 모델링을 통하여 기후 환경 DB와 자료의 이해도를 높이고, 공간적 상관관계 분석을 위한 GIS DB를 구축하였다. 구축된 DB를 기반으로 사용자에게 DB의 다양한 검색 및 접근을 통해 자료에 대한 세부적인 정보를 제공하고 자료의 배포가 가능한 프로토 타입의 통합DB 관리시스템을 개발하였다. 이러한 GIS기반의 기후 환경 통합DB 관리시스템은 효율적인 자료 관리는 물론 자료를 배포하는 환경을 제공 할 수 있으며, 미래의 기후변화를 종합적으로 진단 및 예측 하는데 기여가 클 것으로 판단된다.

본 연구는 초·중 통합학교의 공간 구성 방향을 제시하고자 일본의 초·중 통합학교 형태인 의무학교 사례를 중심으로 공간 배치 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 초·중학교 발달단계별 학급교실의 공간 구성과 배치 특성을 도출하였고, 초·중 통합 활용전용 공간과 공동 활용 교과교실을 도출하였다. 또한 초·중학교 급별 학년별 교과교실 연계 특성을 분석하여 바람직한 교과교실 배치 방안을 도출함으로써 국내 초·중 통합학교 공간 배치 구성 방향에 대한 기본 방향을 제시하였다.

This study is about the present condition of facilities for the disabled at elementary schools in Ulsan and improvement plan of facilities for the disabled. The important thing of tasks of societies and nations is rights to education for the disabled. If an education is natural rights that give people identification, Societies and nations do their best to adapting anyone no matter who has any circumstance to civilization. The more people are poor, the more Societies and nations support and give them chance to education. Among people who really need the chance to education, there was the disabled. Therefore, societies and nations support them carefully more than any others. Above all things, considering the fact that separation to integration of a education for the disabled, facilities for the disabled that can base on an integrated education must be improved as soon as possible. An integrated education contribute to growing sociality and security of human rights for the disabled. It is natural that basic facilities are necessary for the disabled. A systematic program development that make ordinary students look fairly disabled students is really demanded for that ordinary students give disabled students love and help.

Since the middle of 1990s, in Korea a few researches on the optimal management technologies combining numerical model and GIS for the management of water environment in drinking watershed area and reservoir such as Paldang Lake have been carried out. In this study, the integrated water environment management system was been suggested to efficiently reflect the public awareness of the environment by integrating the web based distributed data collection system, GIS, public hearing system and water quality model. As all the components of the system have been developed using the World Wide Web and all data have been collected from the relevant agencies through the Internet, the water quality model could be implemented on the web directly. In consequence, the environmental geographic information in Paldang Lake could be acquired and analyzed through the Internet. The system can rapidly respond to the public right to know on environment, so the public will willingly participate in the governmental projects on environment. To verify the usability of the developed system, it has been applied to Paldang Lake. Especially when the web based model has been used, users can easily and confidentially get the prediction results by applying the minimum number of parameters for the water quality model. This model will provide clearness and scientific bases in the process of water quality prediction for the sensitive sites where there are critical conflicts between the residents and the developers. In this study, rapid water environment management technique without spatial and time limit has been suggested, which can contribute to the efforts on the government and the public participation.

With the increasing need for intelligent environment monitoring applications and the decreasing cost of manufacturing sensor devices, it is likely that a wide variety of sensor networks will be deployed in the near future. In this environment, the way to access heterogeneous sensor networks and the way to integrate various sensor data are very important. This paper proposes the common system for middleware of sensor networks (COSMOS), which provides integrated data processing over multiple heterogeneous sensor networks based on sensor network abstraction called the sensor network common interface. Specifically, this paper introduces the sensor network common interface which defines a standardized communication protocol and message formats used between the COSMOS and sensor networks.
