  • The computerization works and environment have been changed from simple transaction and data process request to system connection request, from data computerization to application work automation and process computerization through IT development and Internet spread. Recently, BPM(Business Process Management) concept has been widely propagated. It is expanding interest of business subject. Korea Railroad is operating train operation management system through 5 regional headquarters and organizations under the influence of each regional headquarter. But integrated operation and management of communication each department, work flow management and resources of depot equipment and materials have to need a lot of effort and time in huge organization as Korea Railroad. Therefore, this article realized Web Based BPM Group Ware. This article will define Korea Railroad organization and business process in using this Group Ware. And it will introduce Korea Railroad computer manage system of this Group Ware and efficient Korea Railroad Business Process through modeling and operating department work and resources management in Korea Railroad.

BEMS 데이터를 활용한 도서관 건물의 운전현황 분석 -준공 초기단계의 건물 에너지 성능 평가 (An Operation Status Analysis of Library Building using BEMS Data; Energy Performance Evaluation on Initial Stage of Completion)

  • Energy consumption savings in buildings should be reviewed in diverse areas such as air conditioning system and lighting responsible for cooling and heating, and energy management systems such as BAS (Building Automation System) and BEMS (Building Energy Management System) are introduced to improve energy consumption efficiency and to promote economic control of related facilities by integrated management of energy generated and consumption in buildings. The measured building of this study uses regenerative geothermal system. Measured values of heat pump and system COP were 4.7 and 4.2 respectively, and they were found to be higher 11.9% and 23.5% than rated values. As a result of analyzing the air conditioning and lighting energy from the first floor to the fourth floor performing the air conditioning, the second and third floors, which have a high frequency of use, are compared with the first and fourth floors 50% higher energy consumption ratio. On the other hand, the general heat storage system uses the nighttime power of the previous day to store heat and use it the next day. The total number of days of abnormal operation during the summer season is 61 days. The electricity cost corresponding to the abnormal operation is 1,840,641 KRW, and the normal operation using the nighttime power is 1,363,561 KRW, which is difference of 477,080 KRW, 35% increase in cost. We will utilize it as the main data of BEMS through analysis of winter operation characteristics as well as summer operation characteristics.

KS, QMS, EMS 통합경영시스템 구축 및 운영에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Integrated Management Systems Establishment and Operation of the KS, QMS and EMS)

  • With the foundation of the WTO in 1995, the era of boundless and unlimited competition between many of the countries around the world has begun. In order to elevate the competitiveness in the international market, we have incorporated the QMS and the EMS system, establish by the International Standardization Organization, and the process has been operated under the authorization. However, many Korea companies' separate enforcement of the QMS and the EMS system is causing the dissipation of the labor force and the invested capital. As we can see through studying the contents on this paper, the number of documents has been reduced down to 54% (From 139 of them to 64 of them), and the conflict and the chaos that could have happened between the documents has been prevented. Its' outcome is attributed to the foundation and the embarkation on the Integrated Management Systems of the KS, QMS, and EMS. Not only that, it has also reduced the waste elements up to greater than 40%.

통합 망 관리 에이전트 설계 및 구현 (Design and implementation of an integrated network management agent)

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷 망을 위한 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)를 이용하는 망 관리 시스템과 OSI 망을 위한 CMIP (Common Management Information Protocol)을 사용하는 망 관리 시스템을 상호 연동할 수 있는 통합 망 관리 에이전트 (agent)를 설계, 구현하였다. 서로 다른 두 망 관리 시스템을 통합하기 위하여 본 연구에 앞서 수행한 MOVI(Managed Object View Interface) 개념을 이용하였다. 통합 망 관리 에이전트 설계를 위한 3가지 모델을 검토하고 이 모델들의 장단점을 비교하여 적합한 모델을 선택 하였다. 선택한 모델을 구체화할 수 있는 통합 망 관리 에이전트의 논리적 구조와 구체적인 구현방법 그리고 각 모듈별 작동에 대하여 언급하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 망 관리 시스템인 osimis와 ucd-snmp 시스템을 참조 모델로 이용하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 인터넷 망과 OSI 망을 망 관리적 측면에서 연동할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 앞으로 MOVI 개념에서 언급하고 있는 것과 같이 새롭게 정의될 수 있는 망 관리 시스템과의 연동에 대한 확장도 가능하다는 장점을 가진다.

  • In this paper, Internet based ship technical information management system has been developed as a means to accumulate, manage, share and utilize various distributed applications and information used for ship design and building. The information managed in the system are data from whole life cycle including concept design, basic design, detailed design, construction, operation and maintenance. In addition, using the developed system, integrated system framework is also proposed to integrate applications and database in concurrent engineering environment.

  • Korean railroad has been accomplished the structural change through separating of facilities and operation of railroad in 2004. The existent government organization was transformed into the public, this caused problem of renovation of railroad management. Korean railroad has been the integrated management of passenger and freight. As putting the passenger service as a priority, freight transportation have fallen behind and not attained good sales results. Restructuring in Korean railroad would bring about considerable improvement, but still not come out of the deficit operation. To find a way out of this situation, there needs to make renovation and extend new enterprise. However, to operate the railway freight transportation more competitively, make up situation that can possess competitive power fundamentally. From this perspective, the purpose of this study is to analyze the necessity for separated operation of passenger and freight railway transportation. By doing this can expect to obtain the competition power of railway freight transportation, and is a help to build up the independent management system of railway freight transportation and secure competitive high position about other transportation systems especially road.

정보융합기반 재난정보시스템 프레임워크에 관한 연구 (An Information Fusion-based Disaster Information System Framework)

  • DIS(Disaster Information System) is the information system supporting prevention, readiness, response, and recovery to disasters. DIS must monitor various disaster-related informations, keep various human resources and various material resources, and response real disasters. The conventional DISs are insufficient for integrated situation analysis, real-time report and operation, and utilizing the expertise of disaster personnels. In this study, the information-fusion based DIS framework is proposed for analysing various level informations, providing integrated situation informations and response plans, and processing real-time reports and operation according to field situations. The proposed DIS framework adopts information-fusion technologies and knowledge-based BRMS(Business Rule Management System).

An Integrated Simulation Method to Support Virtual Factory Engineering

  • This paper presents a structure and architecture of an integrated simulation method (ISM) to meet the requirements of virtual factory engineering (VFE). Combining CAD, VR and discrete event simulation techniques, the ISM provides static and dynamic simulation functions for implementation of VFE throughout the lifecycle. The static simulation can be used to evaluate the factory layout. The dynamic simulation enables us to evaluate ergonomics of factory, process performance of production system, feasibility of production plan and operation of factory, and to train operators safely, which cover the whole VFE lifecycle. The principles of the key techniques of VFE, including virtual factory data management system (VFDMS), static and dynamic simulation, are also discussed. To demonstrate and validate the ISM, a case study has been carried out in an assembly factory.

  • 철도를 통한 승객 및 화물 운송의 수요가 증대함에 따라 철도 교통량 및 혼잡도가 증가하여 이에 따른 사고발생 가능성의 상승과 승객서비스 품질의 저하가 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 문제들에 대한 해결책의 하나로 철도운영에 이용되는 통신서비스망의 통합을 통한 망의 고품질화가 최근에 많은 주목을 받게 되었다. GSM-R이 그러한 요구에 부응하는 유럽에서 개발된 통합 철도통신망인데, 망 자체의 속도 제한 때문에 다양하고 고품질이 요구되는 철도통신 서비스를 제공하는 데에는 제약이 있음이 알려져 있다. 이에 국내에서는 차세대 통신수단인 LTE 기반의 첨단 철도 통합무선망 구축에 관한 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 하지만 철도 통합무선망 자체에 대한 구축이 이루어진다 해도, 통합 통신망을 운영하고 관리하는 시스템이 필요한데 관련 연구가 미흡하다. 본 연구에서는 구축되는 철도 통합무선망을 위한 망의 운영관리 시스템에 대해 연구하는 것이 목표이다. 이를 위해 모델 기반 접근법을 통해 통신망 운영관리 시스템에 대한 개념설계를 수행하였다. 운영관리 시스템 설계에 있어서 먼저 운영관리의 개념을 명확하게 하는 것이 중요하기 때문에, 유스 케이스 다이어그램을 통해 시스템 컨텍스트 모델을 생성하였다. 또한 운영관리 개념의 명확성을 확보하기 위해서 모델링 표준언어인 SysML을 사용하여 운영 시나리오 모델을 생성하였다. 계속해서 SysML 모델들을 EFFBD 모델로 변환한 후 모델 시뮬레이션 및 검증을 수행하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서 보고된 연구 결과는 향후 운영관리 시스템의 개발 단계에서 상세설계를 진행할 때 기본 토대로 활용될 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a sophisticated mixed-integer linear programming model that may help regional decision-maker to develop long term plan of solid waste management The model revises Ni-Bin Chang(1996)'s integrated waste management models to fit Korean solid waste management system We apply this model to evaluate impact of facility sharing and coordinated operation among three self-governing districts in Seoul city Our study results indicate that facility sharing and coordinated operation among districts eliminate unnecessary landfilling and facility expansion.
