This exploratory study reports how teacher-librarians perceive their roles as practitioners in school library media programs. Conducted within the framework of qualitative research, the study employed a focus group interview (Morgan 1997) with five teacher-librarians at elementary school level in Seoul. The findings suggest: (1) the roles of teacher-librarians are influenced a great deal by many factors in educational systems; (2) there is no consensus on how to define and perform their role as teachers; (3) there seems to be increasing emphasis on their program administrator's role; (4) there is no consensus on prioritizing the five roles suggested by the AASL (2009), but all the participants agreed that the leader's role is most crucial for the success of pursuing the rest of the roles, and (5) there seems to be no clear boundaries as teacher-librarians perform their roles. Putting all the results together, the researcher was able to conclude that teacher-librarians are frequently asked to be flexible and negotiable and have great burden in the affective, cognitive, and physical realm for the roles imposed and expected of them.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the experiences of accident and visiting emergency center, and the experiences of education about emergency care for parents. The subjects of this study were 117 mothers whose children are attending 9 different nursery schools or kindergartens. The instrument used in this study was developed by researchers and validated by nursing professor, first aid doctor and the president of nursery school, and consisted of 'most important thing in child rearing' ,'experiences of accident and visiting emergency center', 'type of trauma' and 'need for parent education program' the result of this study were as followed ; 1.There were 70.09％ of the experience of visiting emergency center among the subjects. The cause of visiting emergency center were high fever and convulsion(42.86％), and trauma by accident(28.04％) 2. The most common type of the indoor accident were fall down and slipping(76.92％), the common type of trauma were contusion (76.92％), abrasion(47.01％), laceration(29.06％), dislocation or fracture(12.82％), burn(10.26％), piercing(8.55％). 3.47.01％ of subjects had the experience of education about emergency care for parents. They were educated by child rearing journals (32.72％), small books which were published by hospitals or community health center (25.45％), mass media(21.8％), parent seminar (12.72％), nursery school or kindergarten (5.45％). In conclusion, the need of emergency care for children was strongly found. Therefore, on the basis of above results, the parent education program which fits their cognitive level and their health care needs So, it must be directed on the further study of parents' knowledge about emergency care for children. To enhance the effectiveness of program and accomplish the children's health promotion, advanced instructional media and demonstration must be included.

This study aims to show that "Computer-assisted language learning (CALL)" and "Mobile-based language learning (MALL)" actually influence education, deviating from the traditional "drill and practice" method in foreign language education and learning due to the development of information and communication technology (IT). Specifically, for first-year college students who have relatively poor English skills and do not feel enough motivation for English learning, I will produce educational video content using multimedia authoring tools and upload it to the e-learning system. Video content is configured to be accessed and utilized through various media such as computers, smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. Ultimately, an exploration of educational value behind the utilization of IT devices in English language Teaching(ELT) and the Second Language Acquisition (SLA) theory behind effective instructional use of such technology are presented. That is to say, the effectiveness of language learning using information and communication technology (IT) is introduced. The article closes by suggesting how to use computers and mobile media for 'Flipped Learning'.

This study investigates the effectiveness of virtual reality agents as foreign language instructors with focus on the impact of different native language backgrounds and instructional roles. The agents were first distinguished as native or non-native speakers treated as a between-subject factor, and then assigned roles as either teachers or salespersons considered within-subject factors. An immersive virtual environment was developed for this experiment, and a 2×2 mixed factorial design was carried out. In an experimental group of 72 university students, statistically significant interactions were found in learning satisfaction, memory, and recall between the native/non-native status of the agents and their roles. With regard to learning confidence and presence, however, no statistically significant differences were observed in both interaction effects and main effects. Contextual learning in a virtual environment was found to enhance learning effectiveness and satisfaction, with the nativeness and the role of agents influencing learners' memory; thus highlighting the effectiveness of using virtual reality agents in foreign language learning. This suggests that varied approaches can have positive cognitive and emotional impacts on learners, thereby providing valuable theoretical and empirical implications.

The purpose of this paper is to in vestigate a relative effectiveness of instruction among such three orienting methods as lecture, slide-tape and video-tape which the library of Duk Sung Women's University has applied for orienting the freshmen for the last three years. This research also carried out a sample survey by distributing uniform questinnaire to the three different groups of the students. Each group was oriented with lecture, slide-tape and Video-tape respectively. Finally, the empirical findings of this research are as follows: 1. All three orienting methods were useful for students to improve knowledge as to how to use the library, 2. There were a wide difference in effectiveness among three instructional methods, obviously, the slide-tape method was more effective in the orientation than the lecture method and, furthermore, the video-tape was more effective than the slide-tape one, Therefore, it seem safe to conclude that the media utilization effective in orientation program should be encouraged by the university libraries of Korea.

This study analyzes the tendency for studies of children's manners in Korea. This research provides basic information for future research on the study of children's manners. I reviewed previous research during Mar.10~Apr. 30., 2009, and published articles that used terms such as 'ye-jul', 'yua ye-jul', 'jun-tong ye-jul', and 'yua-dare kyo yuk' as key-words provided by the National Assembly Library and Academic Information Center, and the terms were used for contents analysis. In the past, parents usually taught manners to their children at home, but now, most children learn etiquette at kindergarten and day care centers. A greater portion of the studies dealing with children's manners has been published since 2001. The experimental method was used for most of this research. Based on the results, I have made suggestion regarding the direction of future studies of children's manners. Research should investigate the value of children's manners and philosophy in future research. Based on the personal characteristics of each child and their understanding of the ecological environment, studies of children's manners require an interdisciplinary research approach or ecological research approach. These studies should continue to research in cooperation with kindergartens and day care centers. In addition, further research should focus on an effective teaching method or instructional media research of children's manners.

This study analyzes the structural relationship between attitudes and learning more properties in agricultural college education programs. The results were as follows. first, The model was accepted according to the some goodness of fit statistics such as ${\chi}^2$(84.28, p>.05), RMR(.036), RMSEA(.041), GFI(.927), NFI(.945), CFI(.985), IFI(985). seconds, Learning attitude(.31) and content validity(.47) in the structural relationship between variables is a direct impact on satisfaction. thirds, Perceived Usefulness(.34) and Content validity(.36) has direct effect of factor on learning attitude. Finally Perceived Usefulness was found to direct effect all Content validity(.64) and easy of use(.27). Finally, considering of duties required in the agriculture. increase the satisfaction of learners should have provide field learning based Learning materials, practices, instructional media. As a result, it will enhance the performance of field learning agricultural education programs.

This thesis suggests a methodology of video editing education that is a part of post-production process. The methodology is educating students on contents, theories, technology in phases according to the characteristics of each process. It is based on the training results from the class 'Understanding of Video Contents Production Technology' conducted for high school students between December, 2013 and August, 2014. The result of the satisfaction survey by enrolled students indicated that high educational satisfaction can be obtained by the education methodology.

Information literacy education is a important role of today's school libraries. So the development of information literacy curriculum and textbook is necessary to establish educational role of school libraries more firmly. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of new information literacy textbook, School Library and Information Literacy published in 2011. For this, this study investigated the status of information literacy education and instructional media in Korea, the United States and Japan. After all, this study presented the textbook's development progress, curriculum, contents and method of application.

An aim of this study is to analyze status of information literacy and propose some ways strengthening its role as a cross-curriculum. Analyses show that information literacy is a basic competency of creative person composing the educational human figure under the national curriculum in Korea. In the school knowledge, its position is a procedural knowledge to create new ideas, also it is a interdisciplinary thinking skill under the instructional method. Therefore, information literacy instruction covering media and ICT literacy should exist as a main cross-curriculum to be a selective subject in the national curriculum. And finally, one of learning skills, its definition should be cleary stated such as information research and access, information analyses and interpretation, information synthesize and presentation.
