The purpose of the present article is to understand moral instruction through Ethics written by Spinoza and enable the implications drawn from its understanding to give shape to lesson plans. In his representative book titled Ethics, Spinoza speculates ultimate substance from the metaphysical perspective and converges it into ethics. The ultimate substance, which is a cause of itself, refers to immanent cause of all things that have numerous attributes as essence. All things in nature develop the substance and exchange influence among individuals at the same time. A human in the influential relationship perceives things based on one's beneficialness and assigns moral words of good and evil. However, a human, who is a mode of substance, should escape from morals that are superficial, relative, and objective, in order to realize nature. Becoming a more complete human requires going through moral imagination in reality but going beyond the imagination ultimately. Moral instruction premises the moral imagination of a student who exists as a mode; meanwhile, it is a study to escape from the influence of moral imagination. Good and evil arise from the limitation that an existing human has, but if a life is to preserve the necessity of ultimate substance, moral instruction can be defined as the processes of alleviating the influence that hinders a human's nature from being realized. Giving shape to this processes with the basis on the Spinoza's epistemic argument, moral instructional texts can be composed of stages to form more adequate moral ideas about moral subjects gradually and cumulatively. The moral instruction like this expects moral awareness which is relatively perfect than the present moral imagination. Furthermore, with the teaching and learning like this sustained, it is expected that ultimately the limitation arising from sensible perception can be overcome to approach the realization of a human's nature.

Recently, a number of researches focus on social network analysis and it is applied to various fields not only in social science area but also in natural science area. Therefore, the social network analysis and the text analysis were conducted in order to analyze the current trend of the theses in information education field. The result indicated that the most frequently mentioned words were consistent with the development of information technology and the change in information education curriculum. That is, the mentioned words were computer aided instruction (CAI) and courseware for period 1, ICT for period 2, smart and scratch for period 3, and in period 4, computational thinking ability and coding appeared for the first time. Moreover, as the result of social network analysis, it concluded the research topics became more complicated and detailed as the words diversified throughout the period in which the simplified network in period 1 changed its configuration into a structure with more diversified words of higher centrality.
The purpose of this study is to summarize PWIM (Picture Words Inductive Model) which is one of learner-centered vocabulary teaching-learning models, and suggest ways to implement them in Korean language education. The pictures that are used in the Korean language education field help visualize the specific shape, color, and texture of the vocabulary that is the learning target; thus, helping beginner learners to recognize the meaning of the sound. Visual material stimulates the intrinsic schema of the learner and not only becomes a 'bridge' connecting the mother tongue and the Korean language, but also reduces difficulty in learning a foreign language because of the ambiguity between meaning and sound in Korean and all languages. PWIM shows commonality with existing learning methods in that it uses visual materials. However, in the past, the teacher-centered learning method has only imitated the teacher because the teacher showed a piece-wise, out-of-life photograph and taught the word. PWIM is a learner-centered learning method that stimulates learners to find vocabulary on their own by presenting visual information reflecting the context. In this paper, PWIM is more suitable for beginner learners who are learning specific concrete vocabulary such as personal identity (mainly objects), residence and environment, daily life, shopping, health, climate, and traffic. The purpose of this study was to develop a method of using PWIM suitable for Korean language learners and teaching procedures. The researchers rearranged the previous research into three steps: brainstorming and word organization, generalization of semantic and morphological rules of extracted words, and application of words. In the case of PWIM, you can go through all three steps at once. Otherwise, it is possible to divide the three steps of PWIM and teach at different times. It is expected that teachers and learners using the PWIM teaching-learning method, which uses realistic visual materials, will enable making an effective class together.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the characteristics of using new words, ability to use new words, and peer popularity among students with mild intellectual disabilities and general students of the age-matched group. A total of 8 students, 4 students with mild intellectual disabilities aged 14 to 16 years of age and 4 normal students in the age-matched group, were compared between groups using a nonparametric test. In the case of new words, 60 new words were selected through expert content validity among 301 new words, and then recognition and background information on the 60 new words were collected. As a result of the study, first, there was a significant difference in understanding of new words between the student group with mild intellectual disability and the general student group of the same age. Second, the correlation between the use of new words and the popularity of peers was compared for each group of students with mild intellectual disabilities and a group of general students of the same age as possible. Therefore, when providing vocabulary instruction for students with mild intellectual disabilities, it suggests that it is necessary to teach new vocabulary in order to increase their relationship with their peers and their popularity.
Listening comprehension can be defined as a process of an integrative, positive and creative activity through which listeners get the message of speakers' production using linguistic or non-linguistic redundancy as well as linguistic or non-linguistic knowledge. Compared with reading comprehension, it has many difficulties especially for foreigners. while it can be transferred to the other skills: speaking, reading, writing. With this said, listening comprehension can be taught effectively using the following teaching strategies. First. systematic and intensive instruction of segmental phonemes, suprasegmental phonemes and sound changes must be given to remove the difficulties of listening comprehension concerned with the identification of sounds. Second, vocabulary drill through various games and other activities is absolutely needed until words can be unconsciously recognized. Without this, comprehension is almost impossible. Third, instruction of sentence structures is thought to be essential considering grammar is supplementary to listening comprehension and reading comprehension for academic purpose. So grammar translation drills, mechanical drills, meaningful drills and communicative drills should be performed in succession with common or frequently used structures. Fourth, listening activities for overall comprehension should teach how to receive overall meaning of intended messages intact. Linguists and literatures have listed some specific activities as follows: Total Physical Response, dictation, role playing, singing songs, selective listening, picture recognition, list activities, completion, prediction, true or false choice, multiple choice, seeking of specific information, summarizing, problem-solving and decision-making, recognization of relationships between speakers, recognition of mood, attitude and behavior of speakers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate consumer's perception and attitude on care labels using questionnaire. The major results are as follows: 1. Self-evaluation on consciousness and knowledge regarding on labels is higher than actual level. In other words, most consumers answered that they understood the care instructions on labels, but actually few consumers understand the exact meanings. Married women in their thirties to forties who do the laundry themselves, and more educated women showed higher level of consciousness to care labels. However, unmarried or career women are dissatisfied with the method of care instruction on labels. Many consumers take care of textile products without considering the proposed informations on core labels. The reasons are as follows: a. they think there is no problem even if they do not follow the proposed methods b. the method proposed on labels are complicated 4. There were some cases which happened some problems even though consumers followed the instructions on care labels. It may be due to the incorrect information or the omission of some specific instruction on labels. 5. For ideal care of clothing, it is necessary for manufacturers to suggest the realistic and clean instructions on labels and for consumers to trust and follow these instructions.
The objectives of this study are to explain the performance patterns of health education and related factors in elementary middle, and high schools in Korea. The survey data were collected by questionnaires from June to September in 1998. the number of subjects were 294 school nurses. The SAS-pc program was used for statistical analyses such as percent distribution, a $x^2-test$, a Spearman correlation est., and logistic regression analysis. The major results were as follows: 1. The performance rates of health education by elementary, middle and high schools was higher than before. But the education time was not as sufficient as desired. 2. Planning and practice for health education in elementary and middle schools were high. The preparation of the instruction for health education in elementary school was especially strong. 3. The need survey for health education was low '-' 32~46%. The performance rates of health education increased yearly in elementary school. 4. The reference data were insufficient for health education; In other words, it was difficult for a systematic education. 5. Usually lecture and other methods were used. 10-15% used only the lecture method. 6. The content of heath education was life style in the lower levels of elementary school, Drinking, smoking, drug use etc. were concentrated on in middle and high school. 7. The education evaluation and application was activated in elementary school, otherwise, was low in high school. 8. School nurses and school performance in health education were influenced significatly by planning of health education and the instruction of heath education in elementary school. In the case of planning, the budget was a significant variable; in the case of instruction, the number of school classs was significant. In conclusion, these findings suggest that a developed health education curriculum be performed gearly in order to create a systematic school health education. Also, it is necessary to activate an evaluation to system measure behavioral changes. It is expected that the improvement of school health education be accomplished through the systematic support of schools by government in the physical, economi, and psychological areas.
For the instruction of units dealing with the conic section, the most important factor that we need to consider is the connections. In other words, the algebraic approach and the geometric approach should be instructed in parallel at the same time. In particular, for the students of low proficiency who are not good at algebraic operation, the geometric approach that employs visual representation, expressing the conic section's characteristic in a dynamic manner, is an important and effective method. For this, during this research, to suggest the importance of dynamic visual representation based on GeoGebra in teaching Quadratic Curve, we taught an experimental class that suggests the instruction method which maximizes the visual representation and analyzed changes in the representation of students by analyzing the part related to the unit of a parabola from units dealing with a conic section in the "Geometry and Vector" textbook and activity book.
To learn mathematics effectively, understanding vocabulary is essential. Accordingly, as a way to present vocabulary for mathematics education, high-frequency vocabulary was extracted from the 2009 revised 1st and 2nd grade mathematics textbooks and the 2015 revised 1st and 2nd grade mathematics textbooks. At this time, mathematics textbooks were analyzed by grade and semester, and vocabulary with a common frequency of 5 or more was extracted. In order to use it effectively in school settings, common vocabulary for each grade and intensive vocabulary for each semester were presented. As a result of the study, 61 vocabulary words for first grade education and 121 vocabulary words for second grade education were selected. As a result of analysis by vocabulary level, various levels of vocabulary from grades 1 to 5 were used. As a result of analysis by vocabulary type, the proportion of academic words increased similarly, but the proportion of technical words was found to be highest in the first semester of the second year. Based on these results, the extracted vocabulary for mathematics education is used as a resource for vocabulary instruction for students' mathematics education in each grade to help students learn mathematics.
This study examines spoken interlanguage of Korean learners of English, focusing on the distribution of modal verbs and devices of epistemic modality. (Semi-) spontaneous speech data were collected from four students participating in a self-organized study group for seven months, which produced a corpus of about 55,000 words. The data analysis reveals the following: 1) The frequency of the modal verbs produced by the learners was lower than that of native speakers; 1.99 vs. 2.32 tokens per 100 words. The range of the modal verbs used by the learners was also very limited, with over-reliance on can (43%). 2) The grammatical categories of the devices marking epistemic modality were in the order of adverbs, lexical verbs, and modal verbs, with a high frequency of a few items in each category. 3) Lexical items conveying certainty and modals of obligation were preferred over markers of weaker commitment, resulting in speech characterized by firmer assertions and a more authoritative tone, a potential cause for pragmatic failure. 4) A weak developmental change was observed in the frequency of modal verbs, but not in their functions over the seven month period of data collection. L1 influence, L2 proficiency, mode of communication, and instruction effects are discussed as possible variables involved in the distribution patterns observed.
