Determination of Key Factors and Evaluation of Their Importance in the Elevator Safety Quality Rating System for the Purpose of Adjusting the Elevator Inspection Cycle (승강기 검사주기 조정을 위한 안전품질 등급제 핵심항목 선정 및 중요도 평가)

  • Recently, elevator inspection and self-examination were strengthened through the revision of the Elevator Safety Management Act, but there have been no significant reduction in serious accidents and major failures. Therefore, the government intends to lay the foundation for reflecting the safety quality rating system, which adjusts the elevator inspection cycle, as a policy to induce safety management of preemptive and active management entities. This study systematically reviewed and classified the safety quality rating system for elevator inspection cycle adjustment in previous studies, collected expert opinions, and reconstructed the key items into realistic evaluation items, and evaluated and scored the relative importance of each factor through the AHP technique.

  • This research is about the inspection system which is for maintenance of laterals of local RBF(River bed Filtration). Inspection system is designed for local use in order to endure water resistance up to 50m and it also can examine the internal condition and colgging of laterals by moving inside of the laterals about 100m back and forward. We will conduct performance test of inspection system at the lacal RBF site and present its result.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an effective inspection system by using OMM (On-Machine Measurement) system based PC-NC. This system can reduce manufacturing lead time because part is inspected each process. Inspection process planning is accomplished by determining the number of measuring points, their location, measuring path using fuzzy logic, Hammersley method, traveling salesperson problem. Inspection with contacted sensor improve quality as inspection feature is developed to based machining feature. This method is tested by simulation and experiment, then analyzed measuring data and geometry tolerance.

  • A shock absorber rod is located in the center of the absorber piston and is responsible for the reciprocating movement portion. If it has surface defects, the damping performance of product will be adversely affected. A rod surface has gloss by heat treatment. Therefore, it is difficult to find a defect, such as dust, imprints, and blowholes. Because a total inspection is achieved by visual inspection by workers, it causes eyestrain and the quality of the product is not constant. In this paper, a machine vision system was developed to find a defect using a line-scan camera. The machine can detect surface defects than 0.3mm. To minimize the occurrence probability of defects on the inspection process, the developed auto inspection system had an automatic feeding system and incorporated a protection system. Through the development of this system, which relies on the operator's visual inspection of the surface of the shock absorber, the Rod inspection system constructed quality inspection standards and standardized tests to ensure improved reliability.

  • Most previous studies considering inventory models for imperfect quality assumed that defective items could be completely detected by inspection and fixed before delivery to customers. This makes it difficult to adopt their research results to practice. This study reduces the assumption of perfect inspection, and presents an inventory model considering reverse logistics caused by imperfect inspection. System dynamics model is used to describe complex and dynamic problem and to show the effect of imperfect inspection on profit by simulation. Then, this article provides a guideline for the inspection policy which provides the maximum profit.

  • This paper presents the motorcycle inspection standards of electrical system, frame & body, lights and speedometers. 187 real-world motorcycles are visually and mechanically inspected according to the developed inspection standards. The non-compliance rate of inspection standards of the lights is 23.7% and main causes are damage, tinting, painting and coloration of head-lamp, number plate lamp, front-rear position lights, stop lamp and direction indicators of motorcycles. Also, 28.4% of motorcycles are dropped from the luminous intensity inspection standard. Motorcycle electrical system cannot be visually inspected. The motorcycle inspections standards are improved reflecting 187 cases of real-world motorcycle inspection results.

  • Due to economical or technological reasons. humans are responsible for inspection functions in many cases. Humans. however. are rarely perfect. thus allowing non-confirming parts to be processed. As the attributes of interest or the variety of products increases. the inspection system becomes less effective because of the sensory and cognitive limitations of human inspectors. Any means that can support or aid the human inspectors is necessary to compensate for inspection difficulty. Augmented reality (AR) offers a new approach in designing an inspection system as a means to augment the cognitive capability of inspectors by providing the 3D spatial proximity between two information channels. The experimental results suggest that AR might be an effective tool that reduces inspection time without sacrificing the measuring accuracy.

  • In this paper, we propose a development of high speed inspection system which allows the inspection of width, definition and flaws in lead-frame using CCD camera. This system consists of the parts of lighting, inspection, lighting control, GUI and more and developed techniques used are lighting control, fast inspection algorithm and advanced measurement technique for improvement in resolution. The effectiveness in proposed method is proved by conducting field tests.

  • This paper describes the issue relating to the design and implementation of a high-precision vision system for monitor inspection. We present several monitor inspection algorithms which evaluate the geometric distrotions of the patterns on the inspection target monitor. Also, to inspect color distortion acquired form color CCD camera into the XYy coordinate, accurately. The proposed monitor inspection system is implemented on IBM PC/486, and the user interface is developed on microsoft windows to assist unskilled users for easy use. Using the developed vision system, Experiments on the inspection accuracy and speed were performed and the results are presented.

  • An Inspection system, composed of sensor head and controller, is presented which is a 3-D laser vision system using principles of optical triangulation for weld quality and chamfer quality. The sensor head id composed of laser diode, micro CCD camera, filter and several optical components. This systems can be used in welding bead and undercut inspection and chamfer quality inspection as well. It is mech more convenient to use and the inspection time is to be greatly shortened compared with conventional inspection method. Furthermore, data saved in controller can be used for statistics afterwards. This system has been begin used in Koje Shipyard of Samsung Heavy Industries and the need is being increased.
