This study was conducted to comprehensively identify factors that potentially influence corporate investment behavior, including micro, macro, and sectoral variables. Furthermore, investment behavior was studied across nations based on their participation in the global value chain (GVC), which was evaluated based on commodities, limited manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and innovative activities. The study uses the dynamic panel data analysis and Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) estimation for a sample of 800 corporations, with data spanning over 2000-2019. The study result shows that in all types of countries, the coefficient lag indicator of capital expenditure statistically has a significant effect on capital expenditure. Sales growth, exchange rate, and GDP have a significant positive effect on corporate investment growth, while DER has a negative effect. In commodity countries, corporate investment is influenced by sales growth, exchange rate, and FCI. The variables that influence corporate investment in manufacturing countries are the FCI, exchange rate, sales growth, GDP, and DER. In innovative countries, variables that significantly affect capital expenditure are DER, GDP, and Tobin Q. In each type of country, the interaction terms between exchange rate and commodity price are positive and statistically significant.

본 연구는 혁신형 중소기업을 연구대상으로 하여, CEO의 유형에 따른 기술혁신역량이 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 미시적으로 분석하였다. 또한, 혁신형 중소기업특성에 따라 CEO유형이 기술혁신역량에 미치는 영향, 기술혁신역량이 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향을 함께 연구하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해, 중기부에 등록된 혁신형 중소기업 250사(社)를 연구대상으로 하여 실증분석을 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, CEO 유형이 기술혁신역량에 미치는 영향 분석 결과, 시장중심형 CEO, 기술형 CEO, 컨설턴트형 CEO는 기술변화 감지역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 관리형 CEO는 기술변화감지역량에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 혁신형 중소기업의 CEO유형은 기술혁신역량의 R&D기술 소화역량에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 기술혁신역량과 기술혁신성과 간의 관계를 분석한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 중소기업 성장단계에 따른 CEO유형과 기술혁신역량 간 조절효과를 분석한 결과 기술형 CEO와 컨설턴트형 CEO는 기술변화감지역량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석 되었으나, 관리형 CEO와 시장형 CEO는 조절효과가 발생하지 않았다. 넷째, 혁신형 중소기업 성장단계에 따른 기술혁신역량과 기술혁신성과 간 조절효과를 분석한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다.

To understand South Korea's economic success several contending paradigms have emerged, ranging from a neo-classical explanation to a statist perspective, and Schumpeterian structuralism. The Korean miracle can be seen as a product of multiple factors involving the strategic choice of export-led growth, timely and active human-capital investment, business activism, and individual innovative ideas. However, South Korea needs more complex and innovative ideas to continue its both economic growth and S&T Development. The ideas of Schumpeterian structuralist needs to be more emphasized. Changing state-society relations and subsequent policy choice are greatly influenced by the industrial life cycle. The industrial life cycle is closely related to the historical sequencing and diffusion of technology. The complex mixture of statist-market-Schumpeterian structuralist perspectives could lead more technologically advanced society in South Korea.

The increasing demand for materials, energy and products drives chemical engineers to propose new solutions everyday able to promote development while supporting sustainable industrial growth. Membrane engineering can offer significant assets to this development. Here, they are identified the most interesting aspects of membrane engineering in strategic industrial sectors such as water treatment, energy production and depletion and reuse of raw materials. The opportunity to integrate membrane units with innovative systems to exploit the potential advantages derived from their synergic uses is also emphasized. The analysis of the potentialities of these new technologies is supported by the introduction of process intensification metrics which provide an alternative and innovative point of view regarding the unit performance, highlighting important aspects characterizing the technology and not identified by the conventional analysis of the unit performance.

조직구성원의 혁신행동은 기업의 성장과 지속가능성을 촉진할 수 있는 중요한 요소이다. 오늘날 경제 시장 환경이 불안정함에 따라 조직구성원들의 혁신행동의 중요성이 날로 강조되고 있는 실정이며 이러한 혁신행동이 기업의 경쟁력을 확보하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 혁신행동의 향상 방안에 초점을 맞추었다. 구체적으로 참여적 리더십과 구성원의 혁신행동 간의 인과관계를 규명하고 영향력을 검증하였다. 더 나아가 참여적 리더십이 혁신행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 지식공유와 창의성의 직렬다중 매개효과도 검증하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 중국 중소기업에 종사하는 구성원 237명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과에서 참여적 리더십은 지식공유, 창의성, 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 참여적 리더십과 혁신행동 간의 관계에서 지식공유와 창의성의 유의한 직렬다중매개효과가 검증되었다. 전반적으로 본 연구는 중국 중소기업 조직에서 혁신행동을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 참여적 리더십의 긍정적인 역할을 검증하였으며 직렬다중매개효과를 통해 혁신행동에 대한 연구 영역을 확장하는데 기여하였다.

기술혁신을 포함한 기업의 혁신이 기업과 산업의 성장 및 경쟁우위에 기여한다는 연구는 많으나, 주로 연구개발 집약도 또는 특허로 측정되는 기술적 혁신의 성과 검증에 집중되어왔다. 또한 혁신의 단계 또는 프로세스에 관한 기존 모형들은 대부분 기술 혁신을 대상으로 아이디어 창출-기술개발-혁신성과 도출의 과정을 설명하고 있지만, 이러한 모형들은 지식의 창출과정을 설명하는 모형이거나 기술적인 혁신에 국한된 지식의 변환구조에 초점이 맞추어져있다. 본 연구는 기존의 혁신 모형을 확장하여 혁신 활동부터 기업의 운영성과와 재무적 성과까지를 포괄하는 모형을 설정하고, 이들 간의 경로들이 실제로 존재하는지를 규명하는 인과적인 경로분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 혁신활동이 늘어나면 신제품 출시, 공정혁신, 특허출원과 같은 혁신의 성과가 늘어나고, 혁신성과는 기업의 운영성과를 높이며, 운영성과는 매출성장률을 향상시키는 경로가 검증되었다. 둘째, 종속변수가 혁신성과, 기업운영성과, 재무적 성과의 방향으로 혁신의 직접적인 성과로부터 거리가 멀어질수록 혁신활동의 영향력이 점차 감소함을 확인하였다. 셋째, 혁신성과가 매출성장률에 미치는 효과는 소기업이 중기업보다 높으며, 중기업의 경우 혁신성과는 매출성장률에 긍정적인 영향이 있을 뿐만 아니라 영업이익률에 미치는 효과가 존재함을 검증하였다. 그러나 대기업의 경우 혁신성과가 재무적 성과에 미치는 직접 및 간접 효과는 확인되지 않았다. 넷째, 혁신의 전유성은 혁신성과, 특허출원건수, 기업운영성과에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 실증하였다.

Gifticon is an innovative new service of SK Marketing & Company. Launched in the end of 2006 for the first time in the world, the mobile gift certificate is in the form of a SMS message that bears a bar code to exchange with real products sent to the intended recipient through internet portal, messenger or/and mobile phones. The service started by connecting individuals (B2C business) and was expanded to the new marketing tools of companies (B2B business). While the business took off with soft progress in the initial year of launch, Gifticon business finally gained its momentum in the growth of sales in its second and third year. Yet, the data showed that the growth of user-base was getting stagnant that the number of users remained flat for the past few months. Moreover, competition from latecomers such as Giftishow from KTF and Heartcon from LG Telecom gets fierce. Particularly in B2B sector where Gifticon has made minimal profit, competitors started aggressive promotional activities, taking away shares from Gifticon. Under these circumstances, team is facing tough strategic decisions for its long-term growth; How can they further grow the business? Should they go after more massive targets for broader user-base? Should they pursue B2B business more aggressively? This case study asks students to come up with solutions for these questions by understanding concepts, theories and models for diffusion of innovations and strategies to overcome a chasm.

가계의 학교교육투자와 기업의 기술특화교육투자에 대한 의사결정을 동시에 고려한 제2세대 기술혁신기반 경제성장모형을 구축하고 학교교육과 기술특화교육 각각의 기술혁신 및 경제성장효과, 두 교육 간의 상호작용, 그리고 기술혁신에 따른 두 교육포트폴리오 구성의 변화 등에 대해 분석한다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교교육과 기술특화교육의 각각의 경제성장효과는 비선형의 "역-U"형이다. 둘째, 성장극대화를 위한 학교교육의 수준은 기업 이익극대화를 위한 학교교육의 수준 보다 항상 크다. 셋째, 성장극대화를 위한 학교교육의 수준은 기술특화교육에 대체적 관계에 있다. 넷째, 학교교육의 기술특화교육에 대한 영향은 "U"형으로 기업 이윤극대화 측면에서는 낮은 수준의 학교교육은 기술특화교육에 대체적이며, 높은 수준의 학교교육은 기술특화교육에 보완적이다. 다섯째, 기술혁신이 강화될수록 기술특화교육 대비 학교교육이 더욱 강화된다.

본 연구는 정부지원, 네트워크 역량과 지식공유가 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 혁신행동이 매개하는 효과의 영향 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 코로나 확산일로의 시기로 디지털 기반의 네트워크와 지식공유 활동이 빠르게 범용화된 가운데 법인기업 재직자를 대상으로 357부의 설문을 분석하여 SPSS 버전 24와 smart PLS 3를 활용하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과 정부지원, 네트워크 역량, 지식공유가 증가하면 혁신성과도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 혁신행동은 네트워크 역량, 지식공유와 혁신성과 사이의 관계를 유의미하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 정부지원은 네트워크 역량에 있어 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 혁신성과 창출에 있어서 중요한 혁신행동 유발을 위해 기업인들의 네트워크 역량을 제고하고 지식공유 활성화를 위한 다양한 프로그램을 정부 지원정책으로 제시하여야 하겠다. 이는 곧 기업인들이 자발적으로 더욱 유연하고 자유롭게 아이디어를 개발하고 실행할 수 있도록 하는 동인이 되어 줌으로써 기업과 산업의 혁신성장으로 경쟁력을 높이는 계기가 되어줄 것이다. 즉, 본 연구는 지식공유 활동과 함께 혁신행동을 야기하여 혁신성과 창출에 도움을 주는 네트워크 역량에 있어서의 정부지원의 효과성을 검증하고 전체적인 구조상에서 종합적으로 요인들 간 관계성을 실증하였다.

Cell therapies utilizing mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have a great potential in many research and clinical settings. The mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of MSCs have been studied previously and the paracrine effects elicited by their production of various growth factors and cytokines were recognized as being crucial. However, the molecular controls that govern these paracrine effects remain poorly understood. To elucidate the molecular regulators of this process, we performed a global knockdown of microRNAs (miRNAs) in human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hADSCs) by inhibiting DGCR8, a key protein in miRNA biogenesis. Global disruption of miRNA biogenesis in hADSCs caused dramatic changes in the expression of subsets of growth factors and cytokines. By performing an extensive bioinformatic analysis, we were able to associate numerous putative miRNAs with these genes. Taken together, our results strongly suggest that miRNAs are essential for the production of growth factors and cytokines in hADSCs.
