시맨틱을 이용한 연구 논문 검색 시스템 (Semantic based Research-Paper Searching System)

  • 웹의 발달로 정보의 수요가 증가하고 이를 위한 통합, 대용량 정보 저장 시스템들이 증가추세에 있다. 이런 정보 저장 시스템의 크기가 커져감에 따라 기존의 키워드 기반 논문 검색 방법은 검색결과의 양도 클 뿐만 아니라 검색자의 의도를 반영한 검색을 수행하기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 공학 논문들을 대상으로 논문 제목의 구성 형태를 분석하고, 제목 내의 키워드들의 역할 정보들을 RDF 시맨틱으로 구성하여 논문검색에 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. XML형태와 시맨틱을 이용하여 논문 검색에 이용한 결과 키워들 만을 이용하는 기존 방법보다는 훨씬 검색자의 의도를 잘 반영하면서도 필요한 결과만을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Current Internet system of the entrance exam information to the university that is depending on searching key to solve the overloaded problem in the network and DB server or other tools to support HTML edit, haven't satisfied user's wants by supplying uniformed searching system. So this thesis will establish EEIS(Entrance Examination Information System) to prevent database overload phenomena when many users request a great amount of data at the same time and improve the decrease of speed and overload problem in DB server. EEIS playa role of bridge between outside client and DB server by placing VVS(Virtual View Server) between web server and DB server. By that method this system give users several usefulness in convenience and variety by supplying realtime data searching function to user. EEIS also give inner system manager more efficiency and speed in control the management system by solving those problem. This system is design and implementation to satisfy user's desire and give them more convenience and bring up the confidence of university that adopt this system at the end.

A Dynamic Locality Sensitive Hashing Algorithm for Efficient Security Applications

  • The information retrieval domain deals with the retrieval of unstructured data such as text documents. Searching documents is a main component of the modern information retrieval system. Locality Sensitive Hashing (LSH) is one of the most popular methods used in searching for documents in a high-dimensional space. The main benefit of LSH is its theoretical guarantee of query accuracy in a multi-dimensional space. More enhancement can be achieved to LSH by adding a bit to its steps. In this paper, a new Dynamic Locality Sensitive Hashing (DLSH) algorithm is proposed as an improved version of the LSH algorithm, which relies on employing the hierarchal selection of LSH parameters (number of bands, number of shingles, and number of permutation lists) based on the similarity achieved by the algorithm to optimize searching accuracy and increasing its score. Using several tampered file structures, the technique was applied, and the performance is evaluated. In some circumstances, the accuracy of matching with DLSH exceeds 95% with the optimal parameter value selected for the number of bands, the number of shingles, and the number of permutations lists of the DLSH algorithm. The result makes DLSH algorithm suitable to be applied in many critical applications that depend on accurate searching such as forensics technology.

  • Databases publicly available for online searching permit both citation and subject searching, however, subject searching has dominated the online search environment. Despite the power of citation searching, it may be underutilized This study explored the relationship between the number of cited references used in a citation search and information retrieval effectiveness, a relatively unstudied phenomenon. Three articles in the library and information science literature were chosen to represent sample questions. Cited reference searches were conducted for each article and each of its references. All searches were conducted in Social Scisearch and Scisearch on DIALOG. Relevance judgments on the retrieved citations were obtained from the authors of the original articles. This research focused on analyzing, in terms of information retrieval effectiveness, the overlap among postings sets retrieved by various combinations of cited references. The findings from the three case studies clearly showed that the more cited references used for the citation search, the better the performance, in terms of retrieving more relevant documents, up to a point of diminishing retums. In addition, generally the overall level of overlap among relevant documents sets was found to be low. Therefore, if only some of the cited references among many candidates are used for a citation search, a significant proportion of relevant documents may be missed. The analysis of the characteristics of cited references provided the ways to predict which cited refereces would be useful to improve information retrieval. The findings of this comprehensive exploratory study are of interest for both theoretical and practical reasons. They contribute to the development of a theoretical model for the effective use of the citation search. This model might also be implemented in operational online systems. In addition, the findings potentially will help online searchers improve their search strategies using the citation search so that they can better achieve their information retrieval goals: the retrieval of items relevant to a given question and the suppression of nonrelevant items.

구글 검색엔진을 활용한 키워드 검색결과 수 관리 시스템 설계 및 구현 (A design and implementation of the management system for number of keyword searching results using Google searching engine)

  • 인터넷 상에 많은 정보들이 발생하면서 검색 엔진은 사용자에게 필요한 흩어진 정보를 모아주는 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 일부 검색 엔진에서는 검색어가 포함된 검색 결과 페이지뿐만 아니라 검색 결과 수도 함께 제공하고 있다. 구글 검색엔진에서 제공하는 검색 결과 수는 인터넷에서 해당 검색어에 대한 전체적인 추세를 파악하는데 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 구글 검색엔진에서 제공하는 검색결과 수를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 구글 검색엔진을 활용한 키워드 검색결과 수 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. 제안하는 시스템은 웹으로 작동하며 검색 에이전트, 저장 노드, 검색 노드로 구성되어 키워드 및 검색 결과 수를 관리하고 검색을 수행한다. 최종 검색 결과로는 검색 키워드, 검색 결과 수, 검색 결과 수를 활용하여 두 키워드의 거리를 계산하는 NGD(Normalized Google Distance)가 제공된다.

  • 영상정보는 시각적이며, 공간적인 정보로 멀티미디어에서 가장 많이 사용되고, 저장과 출력 방식의 다양성, 대용량, 공간관계 표현 및 비정형적이라는 특징을 갖는다. 따라서 이러한 영상데이터의 효율적인 저장, 관리 및 검색기법에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행 중에 있고 최근 멀티미디어 환경에서의 내용기반의 검색에 관한 MPEG-7이라는 국제적인 표준화 움직임이 일어나고 있다. 특히 다량의 영상정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하고 효율적으로 질의.검색할 수 있는 실용화된 영상검색 시스템이 아직 일반화되어 있지 않으므로 보다 효과적인 영상 데이터베이스 검색 시스템의 구현에 대한 연구가 중요한 과제이다. 현재 텍스트기반의 영상 검색시스템은 상당히 연구가 진행되어 있으나, 많은 단점으로 인하여 최근에는 내용기반의 검색시스템에 대한 많은 연구가 진행중이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 시스템에서 많이 사용하던 DCT기법 대신 영상처리에서 많이 사용하고 있는 wavelet변환을 사용하여 영상의 압축과 특징벡터를 추출하여 기존의 방법과 같고 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

최종이용자탐색시스템의 이용과 이용자의 인지적 특성간의 관계 연구 (A Study of Users' Cognitive Characteristics Influencing upon the Usage of End-User Searching Systems)

  • The purpose of this study is to find personal characteristics that affect users' cognitive characteristics of system, and to verify correlations between this users' cognitive characteristics and selection of system usage in using end -user searching systems (EUSS), For corroborative analysis of this study, preliminary model was constructed referring to Davis' Technology Acceptance Model. The model consists of exogenous variables (personal characteristics) , parameter variables (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use), and effect variables (selection of system usage), When exogenous variables affect parameter variables, exogenous variables are independent variables and parameter variables are dependent variables. In addition, in correlation of parameter variables, which have been affected by exogenous variables, with effect variables, parameter variables are independent variables and effect variables are dependent variables, As for the research methodology, this study regards the Academic Information System connected with the Internet as EUSS, So questionnaires have been sent to researchers in universities who were conducting direct searching for the system. 229 valid responses to questionnaires have been analyzed according to Pearson Correlation Analysis and Stepwise Selection of Multiple Regression in the statistical software packages, 'SPSS PC+'. The findings and conclusions made in this study are summarized as follows; 1. Among the personal characteristics (age, disciplinary, computer literacy level, perceived usefulness of use education and training, perceived satisfaction of end-user searching, perceived satisfaction of system characteristics), all characteristics but age affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Specifically, perceived satisfaction of end user searching and perceived satisfaction of system characteristics most affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use respectively. 2. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a direct effect on selection of system usage in using EUSS. 3, Perceived usefulness more affect selection of system usage than perceived ease of use in using EUSS.

  • The frequency of natural disasters because of global warming is gradually increasing, risks of flooding due to typhoon and torrential rain have also increased. Among these causes, the roads are flooded by suddenly torrential rain, and then vehicle and personal injury are happening. In this respect, because of the possibility that immersion of a road may occur in a second, it is necessary to study the rapid data collection and quick response system. Our research proposes a big data analysis system based on the collected information and a variety of system information collection methods for searching flooded road areas by torrential rains. The data related flooded roads are utilized the SNS data, meteorological data and the road link data, etc. And the big data analysis system is implemented the distributed processing system based on the Hadoop platform.

가격 인지와 소비자 행동 -자동차 연료 가격을 중심으로- (Price Perception and Consumer Behavior - Focused on the Price of Automobile Fuel -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the association between consumer's price perception and the price information searching behavior. For this, hypotheses were suggested and tested with a sample of 383 consumers. The results were as follows: the hypotheses were supported in part. The perception of the existence of a standard price, the existence of price differentiation, the degree of price differentiation, and the price appropriateness were all associated with the price information searching behavior. The perception of the existence of price differentiation, and the degree of price differentiation were associated with the transference behavior after price checking, and the perception of the existence of price differentiation, the degree of price differentiation, and the price fairness were associated with the place selection behavior.

홍채 인식을 위한 동공 중심점 탐색 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (The Study on Searching Algorithm of the center of Pupil for the Iris Recognition)

  • 홍채인식은 개인의 홍채 패턴을 이용한 인식시스템으로 정보보안 분야나 개인 인증에 최고의 인증시스템중 하나로 알려져 있다. 홍채 인식을 위해 가장 먼저 해결해야하는 문제는 동공중심점탐색 이 매우 중요하다. 지금까지 많은 탐색 알고리즘들이 개발되었으나 대부분 처리시간이 매우 많이 소요된다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 동공 중심점 탐색 방법을 제시하고, Hough 변환을 이용한 방법과 비교하였다. 그 결과 120개의 이미지를 대상으로 실험한 결과 약 30%의 처리 속도 개선의 결과를 얻었다.
