The purpose of this paper is to illuminate the role and importance of National Research & Education Network (NREN) in the national research and education field and to establish the future strategy of KREONET in Korea. To this end, we first carefully analyze the footsteps of NREN in major overseas countries, KREONET achievements, and future demand for KREONET. The history of NREN's development is divided into the 2000s, 2010s, and present by era, and classified into network infrastructure, network service, and next-generation network technology by subject. KREONET achievements are divided into advanced research support, network backbone and operation, and network service. Future demand analysis of users who use KREONET was conducted through Korea Research International Incorporation, a survey company. This paper presents the future development strategy of KREONET by analyzing KREONET achievements and future demand.

In order to send the information certainly via the network against the packet lost caused by hardware troubles or limitation of packet transferring, we must construct reliable network infrastructure. However, it is difficult to construct comfortable network early if we construct rely on the prediction or the experience through a lot of troubles. In this paper, we propose the method to construct reliable network infrastructure based on the computer network simulation. This simulation is based on the percolation model. Percolation model is known as the model that represents connections. We gave some simulations for the various network topologies: the square lattice network, the cubic lattice network, and the full connection type network.

본 논문에서는 MF-TDMA (Multi Frequency-Time Division Multiple Access) DAMA (Demand-Assigned Multiple Access) 방식을 사용하는 위성 망에서 지상 단말이 네트워크 제어기에게 자원을 요청할 때, 자신에게 유입되어지는 트래픽에 대한 이전 정보(History) 즉, 트래픽 발생 패턴이나 트래픽 종류 등을 바탕으로 자원을 요청하고, 네트워크 제어기는 지상 단말들이 이전에 요청했던 정보(History)를 바탕으로 보다 효율적으로 위성 자원을 할당하여 위성 망 자원 할당 시간의 지연으로 인한 다량의 데이터 폐기를 최대한 억제하기 위한 MF-TDMA DAMA 방식 위성 시스템을 설계하였다. 미군의 전략적 군사 정보망 (Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, WIN-T) 커뮤니티에서는 L-3 Linkabit 다중 주파수-시간 분할 다중 접속 (MF-TDMA) 요청에 의해 할당되어지는 다중 접속 (DAMA) 네트워크 중심 파형 (Network Centric Waveform, NCW)을 full-mesh IP over SHF 위성 통신을 위한 네트워크 표준으로 선택하였다. MF-TDMA 위성 망에서는 네트워크 제어기(Network Controller, NC)가 최대 255개의 지상 단말들 (Earth Terminals, ETs)의 주기적인 자원요청에 대하여 동적으로 위성 망 자원을 할당하여 단말들 간의 통신을 가능하도록 한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the features of network in the Internet fashion community affect the diffusion of fashion information to members in the online community with other variables (informative features, consumer features). Communities that actively exchange fashion information among their members were selected for the social network analysis and hypothesis verification. As a result, we found that a few information activists influenced most of the information receivers in the network features of fashion communities. Also, we found that the informative features (usefulness, reliability), consumer features (NFC, innovation) as well as the network features (connectivity, power), have a significant influence on the diffusion of Internet fashion information which verified the importance of the network features in the study on the Internet.

Wireless sensor network is an important research topic that has attracted a lot of attention in recent years. However, most of the interest has focused on wireless sensor network to gather scalar data such as temperature, humidity and vibration. Scalar data are insufficient for diverse applications such as video surveillance, target recognition and traffic monitoring. However, if we use camera sensors in wireless sensor network to collect video data which are vast in information, they can provide important visual information. Video sensor networks continue to gain interest due to their ability to collect video information for a wide range of applications in the past few years. However, how to efficiently store the massive data that reflect environmental state of different times in video sensor network and how to quickly search interested information from them are challenging issues in current research, especially when the sensor network environment is complicated. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a fast algorithm for extracting key frames from video and describe the design and implementation of key frame extraction and sharing in Android for wireless video sensor network.

5G vehicular communication is one of key enablers in next generation intelligent transportation system (ITS), that require ultra-reliable and low latency communication (URLLC). To meet this requirement, a new hybrid vehicular network structure which supports both centralized network structure and distributed structure is proposed in this paper. Based on the proposed network structure, a new vehicular network utility model considering the latency and reliability in vehicular networks is developed based on Euclidean norm theory. Building on the Pareto improvement theory in economics, a vehicular network uplink optimization algorithm is proposed to optimize the uplink utility of vehicles on the roads. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the uplink vehicular network utility in vehicular networks to meet the URLLC requirements.

Although the network environment is gradually improving, the virtual nature of the network is still the same fact, which has brought a great influence on the supervision of Weibo network public opinion dissemination. In order to reduce this influence, the user information of Weibo network public opinion dissemination is studied by using Python technology. Specifically, the 2019 "Ethiopian air crash" event was taken as the research subject, the relevant data were collected by using Python technology, and the data from March 10, 2019 to June 20, 2019 were constructed by using the implicit Dirichlet distribution topic model and the naive Bayes classifier. The Weibo network public opinion user identity graph model under the "Ethiopian air crash" on June 20 found that the public opinion users of ordinary netizens accounted for the highest proportion and were easily influenced by media public opinion users. This influence is not limited to ordinary netizens. Public opinion users have an influence on other types of public opinion users. That is to say, in the network public opinion space of the "Ethiopian air crash," media public opinion users play an important role in the dissemination of network public opinion information. This research can lay a foundation for the classification and identification of user identity information types under different public opinion life cycles. Future research can start from the supervision of public opinion and the type of user identity to improve the scientific management and control of user information dissemination through Weibo network public opinion.

It is not easy to find desired information in the world wide web. In this research, we introduce a notion of concept network that is useful in finding information if it is used in search engines that are specialized in domains such as medicine, law or engineering. The concept network that we propose is a network in which nodes represent significant concepts in the domain, and links represent relationships between the concepts. We may use the concept network constructor as a preprocessor to speci-alized search engines. When user enters a target word to find information, our system generates and displays a concept network in which nodes are con-cepts that are closely related with the target word. By reviewing the network, user may confirm that the target word is properly selected for his intention, otherwise he may replace the target word with better ones discovered in the network. In this research, we propose a detailed method to construct concept net-work, implemented a prototypical system that constructs concept networks, and illustrate its usefulness by demonstrating a practical case.

PC users could experience some inconvenience when they use their PC that was physically connected to network printers shared by other people in the network due to the overload. This paper shows how to resolve this kind of overload problem and established the embedded printer system based on embedded Linux system which performs the printer server in order for any users in the office to do printing work more smoothly via current network. It's own capabilities and functions were verified throughout the various tests in practical environment.

This paper highlights new IP network design and internetworking scenarios overlayed on the existing ATM technology network. It describes the proper network configurations to solve the IP/ATM internetworking probrems on the AISN(Advanced Information Superhighway Network). The paper outlines that IP network can be constructed on ATM backbone network. The paper looks at how new design technology is to enhance the AISN in Korea. The paper concludes that new IP network design is applied to AISN and there is enough possibility that AISN can be developed to efficient NGI(Next Generation Internet).
