다중 신경망 레이어에서 특징점을 선택하기 위한 전이 학습 기반의 AdaBoost 기법 (Transfer Learning based on Adaboost for Feature Selection from Multiple ConvNet Layer Features)

  • Convolutional Networks (ConvNets) are powerful models that learn hierarchies of visual features, which could also be used to obtain image representations for transfer learning. The basic pipeline for transfer learning is to first train a ConvNet on a large dataset (source task) and then use feed-forward units activation of the trained ConvNet as image representation for smaller datasets (target task). Our key contribution is to demonstrate superior performance of multiple ConvNet layer features over single ConvNet layer features. Combining multiple ConvNet layer features will result in more complex feature space with some features being repetitive. This requires some form of feature selection. We use AdaBoost with single stumps to implicitly select only distinct features that are useful towards classification from concatenated ConvNet features. Experimental results show that using multiple ConvNet layer activation features instead of single ConvNet layer features consistently will produce superior performance. Improvements becomes significant as we increase the distance between source task and the target task.

균일전력 릴레이 선택방식을 적용한 이중 기회전송 협동 다이버시티 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of a Double Opportunistic Cooperative Diversity System with Uniform Power Relay Selection)

  • 애드혹 네트워크에서는 협동 다이버시티를 적용하여 네트워크의 전력소모를 줄이고, 통달거리의 확장 및 시스템의 성능을 향상시키고 있다. 그러나 가장 큰 신호 대 잡음비(SNR, Signal-to-noise ratio)을 갖는 릴레이를 선택하여 송신하는 선택 릴레이 협동 다이버시티 방식은 느린 페이딩 채널에서 특정 릴레이가 계속 송신하므로 네트워크의 생존시간을 줄이게 된다. 그러므로 최근에 네트워크의 생존 시간을 늘이기 위하여 균일전력 릴레이 선택방식이 연구되었다. 본 논문에서는 소스-릴레이 및 릴레이-목적지간의 수신 신호 대 잡음비가 일정수준 이상이 되는 릴레이를 선택하여 송신할 수 있는 하는 이중 기회전송 협동 다이버시티(DOT, Double opportunistic cooperative diversity) 시스템에 균일전력 릴레이 선택방식을 적용하고 시스템의 성능을 유도하였다. 유도한 결과는 선택결합(SC, Selection combining) 방식과 최대비 합성결합(MRC, Maximal ratio combining) 방식과 비교하였다. 균일전력 릴레이 방식을 사용하였을 때 다른 방식에 비해서 시스템의 성능저하가 있었는데, 이는 네트워크의 생존 시간을 늘이기 위해서 릴레이에 균일한 송신기회를 주었기 때문으로 해석되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of sociocultural attitudes toward appearance, clothing and cosmetics purchasing behaviors according to male consumer's age group. The research method was survey and subjects were 656 male consumers. The results were as follows. First, three factors (appearance importance awareness, appearance internalization, and slimness importance awareness) were emerged on sociocultural attitudes toward appearance. Young age group showed higher level of appearance importance awareness and internalization than middle age group. Second, there were many differences on clothing purchasing behaviors by age variable. Young age group more importantly considered psycho-social purchasing motives, aesthetic selection criteria, and the internet as information source and purchasing place than middle age group. Whereas middle age group more importantly considered practical purchasing motives, practical selection criteria, and store display & salesman as information sources, and fashion outlet as purchasing place than young age group. Third, there were also many differences on cosmetics purchasing behaviors by age variable. Young age group used more and various cosmetics, and they more importantly considered skin improvement as purchasing motive, skin suitability and price as selection criteria, the internet as information source and purchasing place than middle age group. On the other hand, middle age group generally used fundamental cosmetics, and they more importantly considered skin protection as purchasing motive, quality as selection criterion, TV and store display & salesman as information sources, and discount store and cosmetics speciality store as purchasing places than young age group.

The Role of Open Source Software to Create Digital Libraries and Standards Assessment

  • Open-source software developments are basically Internet-based communities that voluntarily collaborate in developing software on the Internet and such Internet communities have become an important cultural and economic phenomenon. As a result, the emergence of open-source software has presented a challenge to the traditional offerings by providing free alternatives. The objective of this article is to review the possibility of the adoption of open source software in the creation of digital libraries, highlights advantages and disadvantage preservations. Among our objective also explaining the request of such software at the present time and the criteria evaluated in the digital preservation through surveying the best open source software from the reality of intellectual production, and standards that are being built to evaluate and choose what software to create a digital library without other software available. To achieve the above objectives, we shed the light on the top 11 open-source software to manage Libraries in addition to standards that may represent the basic building block for the selection of the appropriate systems to the needs of the digital library. This article relied on the descriptive approach by reviewing a series of studies and scientific research works related to the subject of the current study. Accordingly, the most prominent of the findings of this work is its illustration of the close association between open source software and the library community, both of which represent free culture. Also it is shown that the selection process of open source software has some obstacles most notably as there are no clear and reliable criteria for selecting these systems. Current study has concluded a set of recommendations, notably awareness of the role and importance of open source software and the facilities it provides in managing digital content.

SNS 정보 특성이 병원선택과 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of SNS Information Characteristics on Hospital Selection and Satisfaction Degree)

  • This study is to confirm that SNS information characteristics have an effect on choosing hospital care and satisfaction on hospital. This study is conducted with a total of 301 respondents (150 of document investigation and 151 of mobile SNS research) from 16th January 2014 to 29th January. 168 respondents who have experience to collect SNS health information within 6 months recently was selected subject of analysis. In the results, we could confirm the followings. The reliability among SNS information characteristics has effect on convenience that is source of choosing hospital care. The reliability and agreement have effect on the professionalism among source of choosing hospital care. In the influence on having hospital satisfaction, the more reliable and agreeable, the more increasing of hospital satisfaction. In the influence between hospital choice element and hospital satisfaction, the more convenient and service available, the more increasing of hospital satisfaction. In conclusion, it is expecting to contribute SNS managers or marketer of medical institutions to taking out commitment on medical consumer's SNS.

A Comparative Study of Korean and the US College Female Students′ Clothing Buying Behavior

  • This study analyzed the buying patterns of American and Korean female college students in terms of criteria for clothing selection; store preferences; criteria for store selection; fashion information sources; expressions of customer dissatisfaction; purchasing frequency and motivations for purchasing clothes. The study was implemented through self-administered questionnaires which were back translated for validity. The samples consisted of 730 female college students majoring in the fields related to clothing and textiles: 310 U.S. and 412 Korean students. Likert scales were used for most measures with 1=never or very unimportant and 5=always or very important. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, analysis of covariance, Duncans multiple comparison, and t-test. Results are as follows: 1) Design factor was the most important criteria in clothing selection with no differences between country groups. There were, however, significant differences for psychological exhibition factors, practical and economic factors. 2) Both groups preferred specialty and department stores, with department stores more popular in Korea. 3) Merchandise was the most important store selection criterion and fashion magazines and self-experience were rated as the most important information sources for the both groups. 4) Korean group expressed their dissatisfaction with and observable problem with a product before purchase more often than U.S. group, but the U.S. group was more vocal about color loss or shrinkage after care procedures. 5) Some clear differences between the two countries emerged. Marketers targeting American consumers should pay more attention to practicality and service; to Korean consumers more symbolic meaning of products.

정보보호 안전진단 대상자 선정 기준의 개선 방안 연구 (An Enhanced Model on the Selection of Information Protection Security Diagnosis Target Firms)

  • The information protection security diagnosis institution was applied services since 2004, for the leveling up of public information protection and the establishment of the stability and reliability of information communication. And this security diagnosis was implemented actually on the 142 firms in 2005, the 160 firms in 2006 and the 205 firms in 2007. But this is recognized by the some firms as one of the unnecessary regulations. And there are some difficulties with collecting the subjective and reliable source data for establishing the information protection security diagnosis target. In this research, the enhanced model on the selection of information protection security diagnosis target firms was suggested by the interview with some expert and the analysis for the related actual data. By the model which are introduced from the statistical analysis of the related data and the summary of some expert's suggestions, information protection security diagnosis target can include the information telecommunication service providers taking 5 billion won as sales in a year, and web service providers like as shopping mall site, with the personal records of 2 million subscribers.

소비자 할인추구성향에 초점을 둔 화장품 선택속성이 구매의도와 추천의도에 미치는 영향: 정보원천에 대한 다중모집단분석 (The Effect of Cosmetics Selection Attributes Focusing on Consumer's Deal Proneness on Consumer's Purchase Propensity and Recommend Intention: Multi-Group Analysis of Information Sources)

  • 본 연구는 화장품 선택속성 및 소비자의 구매의도와 추천의도 간의 영향 관계를 살펴보았다. 또한 소비자의 할인추구성향에 따른 조절효과를 검증하였다. 마지막으로 정보원천에 따라 연구 모형 경로에 대한 차이를 검증하기 위해 다중집단분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 화장품을 구매하는 소비자의 선택속성을 명확화하고, 이러한 선택속성이 할인추구성향에 따른 구매의도와 추천의도에 미치는 영향구조를 정보원천별로 규명함을 통해 보다 세부적이고 실효성 높은 전략적 통찰에 목말라 하는 산업업계의 필요와 요구에 부응하고자 한다. 이러한 필요성에 기인한 연구목적 달성을 위해 한국 여성 소비자 258명의 설문지를 수집하고 연구에 활용하였다. 분석결과는 제품 선택속성, 구매의도와, 추천의도 모두 긍정적인 영향관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소비자의 할인추구성향에 따른 조절효과 분석결과 화장품 선택속성과 구매의도 사이, 선택속성과 추천의도 사이, 구매의도와 추천의도 사이에서 조절효과를 나타내는 결과를 보였다. 마지막으로 모형의 개별 경로들이 정보원천에 따라 차이가 있는지를 검증하기 위해 다중집단분석을 실시한 결과 부분적으로 채택되었다.

Energy Harvesting in Multi-relay Multiuser Networks based on Two-step Selection Scheme

  • In this paper, we analyze average capacity of an amplify-and-forward (AF) cooperative communication system model in multi-relay multiuser networks. In contrast to conventional cooperative networks, relays in the considered network have no embedded energy supply. They need to rely on the energy harvested from the signals broadcasted by the source for their cooperative information transmission. Based on this structure, a two-step selection scheme is proposed considering both channel state information (CSI) and battery status of relays. Assuming each relay has infinite or finite energy storage for accumulating the energy, we use the infinite or finite Markov chain to capture the evolution of relay batteries and certain simplified assumptions to reduce computational complexity of the Markov chain analysis. The approximate closed-form expressions for the average capacity of the proposed scheme are derived. All theoretical results are validated by numerical simulations. The impacts of the system parameters, such as relay or user number, energy harvesting threshold and battery size, on the capacity performance are extensively investigated. Results show that although the performance of our scheme is inferior to the optimal joint selection scheme, it is still a practical scheme because its complexity is much lower than that of the optimal scheme.

동적 라우팅기반의 점대다중점 라우팅 경로 선택 (A Point-to-Multipoint Routing Path Selection Algorithm for Dynamic Routing Based ATM Network)

  • 본 논문은 ATM 시스템에서 동적 소스 기반의 점대다중점 호를 위한 라우팅 경로 택 방법을 제안한다. 특히 최적의 경로 선택보다는 리소스를 최대한 공유할 수 있고, 경로 계산 시간 단축 및 cycle 방지를 쉽게 보장할 수 있는 점대다중점 라우팅 경로 선택 방법을 제안하였다. 리소스를 최대한 공유할 수 있도록 하기 위해 착신지(destination) 노드로부터 가장 근거리의 branch point를 찾는 것이 이 알고리즘의 목표이다. 그러므로 목적(destination) 노드로부터 역 추적에 의해 인접한 노드중 같은 Call ID를 갖는 기존 경로상의 노드와 최초로 크로스(cross)되는 노드를 branch노드로 정하여 최적의 점대다중점 라우팅 경로를 구성하는 알고리즘이다. 크로스 노드를 찾을 때까지 역추적에 의해 선택되는 최적의 노트는 다익스트라 알고리즘을 이용하여 선택된다. 즉 점대다중점 라우팅 경로 선택은 역추적에 의한 인접 노드중 기존 경로와 크로스되는 노드 선택 단계와 각 인접 노드중 최적의 노드를 선택하는 단계를 수행한다. 이 기법은 경로 선정을 위한 라우팅 정보 테이블의 검색 및 경로 계산 과정을 단축시키고, 경로 설정시 cycle방지도 쉽게 해결한다.
