A Study on the Improvement Strategies of Policy Information Services for National Library of Korea, Sejong (국립세종도서관 정책정보서비스 개선 전략 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the improvement strategies for policy information services of National Library of Korea, Sejong through analysis of their current status and problems. For the study, we conducted interviews with service providers and users and identified some issues in provision and use of the services. Specifically, we found problems of service provision system characterized by dualization and decentralization, and further identified specific issues with provision of individual services. Moreover, the interviews with service users suggested user types, user perception of the service, and problems in the use of individual services. Based on the findings, we proposed improvement strategies in six aspects: collection, services, organization, system, promotion, and cooperation. We hope these strategies contribute to vitalizing the policy information services of National Library of Korea, Sejong.

  • The most representative research network in Korea, KREONET has developed the NSI based NSA (Network Service Agent) technology. The developed NSA supports web service and provides services for reservation, provision, release and termination of network resource, whenever users want to utilize them. In this paper, the system blocks of the developed NSA and flows of NSI interface massage are presented firstly, Also, service test results for NSI connection reservation is given through internet communication of the web portal system to operate as the RA NSA and the NSA, Finally, it is confirmed that reservation, provision, release and termination of network resource can be established through NSI messages based on reservation information from user, between the web portal and the NSA.

  • Academic libraries presently are confronting the issues of organizational viability and relevance. Academic libraries are not the sole owners of the information gateway. The purpose of this study is modeling of university library's information service for effective implication of its role in order to ensure organizational viability and relevance in internet environment. New information service model of university library needs to be design according to four Principles. Firstly, building of web based library petals. Secondly, provision of web front-end with hybrid functions. Thirdly, provision of information literacy program Fourthly, extension resource sharing.

Relationship between Hospital Use Satisfaction and Medical Service Provision Process (입원환자들의 병원이용 만족도와 의료서비스 제공과정 간의 관계)

  • This study aims to provide direction for improvement of the hospital's management environment for customer satisfaction management, which is ultimately consumer-oriented in practice. this study was analyzed the relationship between hospital use satisfaction relative to expected level and medical service provision process for inpatients. The study method collected data from September 10 to September 30, 2018 for patients with inpatient care at hospitals and general hospitals under 300 beds, and conducted a t-test, ANOVA, and logistic regression. According to the analysis, hospital brands were the most frequently chosen reason for hospitalization, followed by doctor brands. The satisfaction level of the inpatient medical service provision process showed no statistical differences depending on the general characteristics. It has been confirmed that the hospital's satisfaction level relative to the expected level of inpatients has a causal relationship that significantly affects the hospitalized procedure the course of the provision of medical services.

  • Recently, It is gradually increasing about need of various information service based of Location that in compliance with rapidly development wireless internet terminal using the real-time location information at mobile environment. But existing information depends service provision method to information provider. so It is many insufficient tailorable information provision about user individuals each other propensity. For this, It need Service skill to provide easily information about tailorable POI(Point Of Interest) of user preference using information based of Location in mobile computing environment. Therefore In this paper, It is use information service based of location in mobile environment. So It analyzes POI information in compliance with propensity of user and It proposes to provide information about service model. It provides to follow individuals propensity analysis POI information service based of location in proposed model. so It provides actively more value information to user.

The Effect of Hospital Mobile App Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction, Involvement, and Reuse Intention (병원 모바일 앱 서비스 품질이 소비자 만족, 관여도, 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify the influence of the hospital mobile app service quality on consumer satisfaction, involvement, and re-use intention of consumers who have experience in hospital mobile app service. Methodology: The survey was conducted on 230 users. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and the Process Model in Hayes(2013). Findings: (1)The usability, reliability, and medical information provision among the service quality factors of hospital mobile apps had an effect on reuse intention, and consumer satisfaction partially mediated. (2)The usability and the provision of medical information were partially mediated by the involvement, which also affected the intention to reuse. (3)Only reliability showed an age-moderated effect. In reliability and re-use intent, age was a moderated mediating effect that controlled the effect of consumer satisfaction. Practical Implications: The results of this study provide initial data of mobile app services centered on hospitals and prove the type of consumer usage. It suggests that it can be used to attract potential consumers of hospitals and strategies to increase the use of mobile apps.

  • In this study, to expand and develop the policy information portal (POINT) of the National Library of Korea Sejong. This study conducted a survey and in-depth interview with government officials and policy researchers. The suggested ways to support the policy information portal (POINT) in the future. As a result of the analysis, the use of the current policy information portal service was found to be low, and it was found that improvement of information access, integrated search, and expansion of information provision data were more necessary. It was suggested that a one-stop service should be implemented to provide various information, systematic information on related data for each task, overseas trend data, core service data, promotion activation, data linkage by strengthening cooperation with various government ministries and research institutes, and easy information provision and menu composition.

  • A service composition has received much interest to provide users with the ad-hoc, seamless, and context-sensitive services dynamically composed from various networked services in context-aware computing environments. In this paper, with the purpose of guiding trends in the researches for dynamic service composition technologies, we investigate and analyze the major related works. For this, we separate semantic based composition from syntax based composition and then establish the comparison criteria by dividing the service composition processes into 3 steps:definition, construction, and execution.

  • This paper considers the Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning mechanisms for the WDM burst switched ring networks. The loss-sensitive service and the delay-sensitive service are discussed. Considering their different requirements, different QoS provisioning schemes are proposed to provision them respectively. The proposed schemes are evaluated through simulation results.

  • The demand for spatial data service technologies is increasing lately with the development of realistic 3D spatial information services and ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Research is being conducted on the real-time provision of spatial data services through a variety of mobile and Web-based contents. Big data or cloud computing can be presented as alternatives to the construction of spatial data for the effective use of large volumes of data. In this paper, the process of building HLM (Hyper Live Map) using multi-source data to acquire stereo CCTV and other various data is presented and a big data service architecture design is proposed for the use of flexible and scalable cloud computing to handle big data created by users through such media as social network services and black boxes. The provision of spatial data services in real time using big data and cloud computing will enable us to implement navigation systems, vehicle augmented reality, real-time 3D spatial information, and single picture based positioning above the single GPS level using low-cost image-based position recognition technology in the future. Furthermore, Big Data and Cloud Computing are also used for data collection and provision in U-City and Smart-City environment as well, and the big data service architecture will provide users with information in real time.
