의무기록 전공학생들의 환자 의료정보 보호인식과 실천인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Students' Recognition and Practice of Patient's Medical Information Protection, who are majoring in Medical Records)

  • 본 연구는 졸업 후 의무기록사로 근무하게 될 의무기록 전공 학생들의 환자 의료정보 보호인식과 실천인식을 조사 분석하여 정보의 중요성을 인식하게하고, 의무기록 교육과정 개발 및 전공교육과 의료정보 보호정책 수립 시 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 자료조사는 4개 대학에 재학생 340명을 대상으로 2015년 5월 18일부터 6월 5일까지 실시하였고, 자료 분석은 t-검정과 분산분석, 피어슨 상관분석, 다중회귀로 분석하였다. 연구결과 보호인식과 실천인식의 점수는 5점 만점에 각각 3.55점과 3.49점이었으며, 의료정보에 대한 보호인식에서는 학년, 전공만족, 의료정보 보호 교육경험, 법률인지, 실천인식에서는 학년, 전공만족, 교육경험, 의료정보 노출피해에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 보호인식과 실천인식은 유의한 정(+)의 상관관계가 있었으며, 실천인식에 미치는 요인으로는 정보노출 인식과 사회적 쟁점 인식, 법제도 인식이 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 보호인식과 실천인식을 높이기 위해서 대학에서부터 의료정보의 유출로 인한 피해와 의무기록 관리의 중요성을 교육시켜 인식을 향상시켜 나가는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

응급구조(학)과 학생들의 환자 개인정보보호에 대한 인식 및 태도 (Recognition and attitude of paramedic students regarding patient privacy protection)

  • Purpose: This study sought to analyze perceptions and attitudes regarding patient personal information protection according to the general characteristics of paramedic students and their clinical practice experience. Methods: A total of 215 paramedic students from G university in I metropolitan city and D university in G do were surveyed. Frequency analysis, percentage analysis, and one-way distribution analysis were conducted using the software SPSS version 23.0. Results: First, recognition regarding the operation of laws and systems related to medical law and personal information protection was high among students who had no clinical practice experience, and there were no differences with regard to students' general characteristics. Second, the level of recognition regarding patient personal information protection and exposure did not differ depending on students' general characteristics and clinical practice experience. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, students' recognition and attitude should be improved by carrying out continuous education on patient personal information protection. Furthermore, more specialized and systematic training related to patient personal information protection should be conducted to nurture appropriately trained paramedic students.

정보사회에서 보건행정 전공 대학생들의 개인정보보호에 대한 인지 분석 (An Analysis of Recognition on Personal Information Protection among Healthcare Administration Students in the Information Society)

  • 본 연구는 보건행정 전공 대학생들의 개인정보보호에 대한 인지 수준을 파악하여 개인정보보호에 대한 올바른 인지 및 실천이 이루어질 수 있는 방안 모색에 도움을 주고자 실시되었다. 조사방법은 보건행정 전공 대학생 687명을 대상으로 2012년 12월 3일부터 2013년 6월 21일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 개인정보보호법에 대한 인지는 17.2%로 낮은 수준을 나타냈다. 개인정보보호영역에 대한 인식도와 실천도는 개인정보보호법에 대한 인지가 있는 경우 모든 영역에서 유의하게 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 인식도가 높을수록 실천도가 높게 나타나는 정의 상관관계로 나타났다. 개인인식정보 항목에 대한 인지율은 57.0%, 관리되어야 할 개인정보에 대한 인지율은 53.7%로 중간정도 수준으로 분석되었다. 따라서 보건행정 전공 대학생들에게 개인정보보호법에 대한 인지도를 높이기 위하여 개인정보보호법을 주지시킬 수 있는 교육 시간 및 교과목 편성을 통해 개인정보보호에 대한 올바른 인지 및 실천이 이루어지도록 하여야 할 것이다.

개인정보 보호에 대한 의료기관 종사자들의 지식, 인식과 실천 (Hospital Employees' Knowledge, Recognition and Practice on the Protection of Personal Information)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate hospital employees' knowledge, recognition and practice on the protection of personal information. A total of 250 hospital employees were selected using convenient sampling in J province. The data were collected using self-reported questionnaire and were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics, Chi-squire test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Average score for knowledge, recognition and practice were significantly associated with gender, education, hospital size and there was a correlation among knowledge, recognition and practice. The results of this study will help to develop education program on the protection of personal information for hospital employees.

IPA를 활용한 음악치료사의 내담자 개인정보보호의 인식도와 실천도 분석 (Personal Information Recognition and Practice of Music Therapists through IPA Tool)

  • Objectives: In this paper, we propose the ethical education direction by analyzing the personal information recognition and practice of music therapists. Methods: For the analyses, we selected 60 music therapists who answered a questionnaire from members of K Music Therapy Association, and analyzed task recognition and practice ask performance using IPA method. Results: In the IPA table, the areas of high recognition and practice (1) are the areas of personal information protection information management. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and high practice (2) are areas of privacy communication for those who have completed ethics education. In the IPA table, the areas of low awareness and low practice (3) are areas of privacy communication when ethics education is not completed. In the IPA table, areas of high awareness and low levels of practice (4) are areas of privacy protection. Conclusions: Continuing education should be provided to improve the curriculum on the protection of personal information for music therapists, thereby raising the awareness and practice of privacy.

  • 개인정보보호법이 마련되고 정부에서는 개인정보보호 기본계획을 수립하여 시행하고 있다. 그러나 해마다 공공기관에서의 개인정보 침해관련 민원발생은 증가추이를 보이고 있다. 본 논문은 설문조사를 통해 지방자치단체 공공기관의 개인정보보호에 관한 인식 수준 분석을 하고 개선의 필요성을 제기하였다.

의료기관의 정보보호교육과 정보보안생활과의 관련성 (Relationship between Information Security Education and Information Protection Practice of Hospital)

  • PURPOSE: To demonstrate that the training of information protection for members at medical institutions increases the information protection activities of employees. METHODS: We used the chi-square test and the logistic regression model to analyze the data of the "Healthcare Information and Communication Status Survey in 2017" (n = 2002) conducted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute RESULTS: As a result of the analysis, the information protection activity increased when the education was received and the number of received more than the education was not received. Especially, when the management receives education, it affects the information protection activities of the employees. CONCLUSION: In order to protect medical information, medical institutions need to provide education on information protection for management and employees.

화재방호 설비 설계 자동화를 위한 선행연구 및 기술 분석 (Literature Review and Current Trends of Automated Design for Fire Protection Facilities)

  • This paper presents the recent research developments identified through a review of literature on the application of artificial intelligence in developing automated designs of fire protection facilities. The literature review covered research related to image recognition and applicable neural networks. Firstly, it was found that convolutional neural network (CNN) may be applied to the development of automating the design of fire protection facilities. It requires a high level of object detection accuracy necessitating the classification of each object making up the image. Secondly, to ensure accurate object detection and building information, the data need to be pulled from architectural drawings. Thirdly, by applying image recognition and classification, this can be done by extracting wall and surface information using dimension lines and pixels. All combined, the current review of literature strongly indicates that it is possible to develop automated designs for fire protection utilizing artificial intelligence.

배전선로 고장인지 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving of Fault Recognition Method in Distribution Line)

  • The aim of this study is to improve the fault decision ability of FRTU (Feeder remote terminal unit) in DAS (Distribution automation system). FRTU uses the FI (Fault indicator) algorithm based on fault current pickup and operation of the protection device. Even if the inrush current flows or the protection device is sensitive to the transient current, FRTU may indicate incorrect fault information. To address these problems, we propose an improved fault recognition algorithm that can be applied to FRTU. We will detect a specific wave that is indicative of a fault, and use this information to identify a fault wave. The specific wave-detection algorithm is based on the duration and periodicity of the voltage, current, and harmonic variations. In addition, we propose fault recognition algorithms using voltage factor variation analysis and DWT (Discrete wavelet transform). All the wave data used in this study were actual data stored in FRTU.

  • In this article, the authors focus on the use of smart CCTV, a combnation of biometric recognition technology and AI algorithms. In fact, the advancements in relevant technologies brought a significant increase in the use of biometric information - fingerprint, retina, iris or facial recognition - across diverse sectors. Both the public and private sectors, with the developments of biometric technology, widely adopt and use an individual's biometric information for different reasons. For instance, smartphone users highly count on biometric technolgies for the purpose of security. Public and private orgazanitions control an access to confidential information-controlling facilities with biometric technology. Biometric infomration is known to be unique and immutable in the course of one's life. Given the uniquness and immutability, it turned out to be as reliable means for the purpose of authentication and verification. However, the use of biometric information comes with cost, posing a privacy issue. Once it is leaked, there is little chance to recover damages resulting from unauthorized uses. The governments across the country fully understand the threat to privacy rights with the use of biometric information and AI. The EU and the United States amended their data protection laws to regulate it. South Korea aligned with them. Yet, the authors point out that Korean data aprotection law still requires more improvements to minimize a concern over privacy rights arising from the wide use of biometric information. In particular, the authors stress that it is necessary to amend Section (2) of Article 23 of PIPA to reflect the concern by changing the basis for permitting the processing of sensitive information from 'the Statutes' to 'the Acts'.
