Especially, we Focused on Competitive forces model of Porter.   • The China has opened the distribution market completely since it joined the World Trade Organization on Dec 11 2001. The notable features of Chinese distribution market are the transition from the consumers' monolithic demand to diversification for the luxury goods, well-being products. The regional characteristics of consumers are smart, conservative, optimistic and advanced. and the open door policy has prompted the capitalistic economy gradually. We analyzed the Chinese distribution markets and came up with the following strategies. First, we recommend the setting of the key regional market not covering the whole chinese markets. then we can extend the main market step by step. Second, we need to cooperate and advance with the Korean distribution companies which entered into markets already. Third, we need to acquire the competitive and stable distribution channel in China. Fourth, we need to implement the localization strategy in terms of human resources and procurement. Fifth, the consignment management can be another strategy. I hope this research can be a little help to those who wish to expand to the Chinese markets.

Stock Market Prediction Using Sentiment on YouTube Channels (유튜브 주식채널의 감성을 활용한 코스피 수익률 등락 예측)

  • Recently in Korea, YouTube stock channels increased rapidly due to the high social interest in the stock market during the COVID-19 period. Accordingly, the role of new media channels such as YouTube is attracting attention in the process of generating and disseminating market information. Nevertheless, prior studies on the market forecasting power of YouTube stock channels remain insignificant. In this study, the market forecasting power of the information from the YouTube stock channel was examined and compared with traditional news media. To measure information from each YouTube stock channel and news media, positive and negative opinions were extracted. As a result of the analysis, opinion in channels operated by media outlets were found to be leading indicators of KOSPI market returns among YouTube stock channels. The prediction accuracy by using logistic regression model show 74%. On the other hand, Sampro TV, a popular YouTube stock channel, and the traditional news media simply reported the market situation of the day or instead showed a tendency to lag behind the market. This study is differentiated from previous studies in that it verified the market predictive power of the information provided by the YouTube stock channel, which has recently shown a growing trend in Korea. In the future, the results of advanced analysis can be confirmed by expanding the research results for individual stocks.

  • A lot of Internet shopping malls strive for obtaining a competitive advantage over others in an increasingly tighter electronic marketplace. To this end, understanding customer preference toward products (or services) and administering appropriate marketing strategy is essential for their continuous survival. However, only a few marketing researchers and practicioners focused on this issue, compared with academic and industry efforts devoted to traditional market segmentation. In this paper, we suggest a methodology of conjoint segmentation for electronic shopping malls. Traditional market segmentation methodologies based on customer's profile sometimes fail to utilize abundant information given while navigating around cyber shopping malls. In this methodology, we do not impose information overload to the customer for preference elicitation, but this methodology, we do not impose information overload to the customer for preference elicitation, but capture automatically generated surfing or buying data and analyze them to get useful market segmentation information. The methodology consists of 4-stages: 1) analyzing legacy homepages, 2) data preparation, 3) estimating and interpreting the result, and 4) developing marketing mix. Our methodology was to give useful guidelines for market segmentation to companies working in the electronic marketplace.

  • This research compares the use of accounting data versus market data in the prediction of bankruptcy. Comparison is made through neural networks so that prediction accuracy is model-independent. Results of this study indicate that both market and accounting data provide useful information on corporate bankruptcies. Interestingly, using market and accounting information together can achieve substantial gain in prediction accuracy.

Main Fashion Brands Subject to Investigation by the Textile Firms for the Purpose of the Development of New Textiles (국내 소재업체의 패션정보 수집 대상 선호 브랜드에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine which fashion brands are most likely to be investigated by Korean textile firms when they conduct their market trend analyses. The result shows that for the domestic sales, textile firms are most likely to collect and analyze information on the Cheil Textil Co. It is followed by Bean Pole, Chanel, Buberry, Tomboy. For the future domestic sales, textile firms prefers referring foreign fashion brands such as Burberry, ZARA, MaxMara, Missoni, and Chanel. Textile firms majoring exports prefers collecting and analyzing information on D&G followed by Chanel, Gucci, and DKNY. This preference, however, differs when considering exporting areas. Textile firms targeting the French market considers Gucci, followed by Ferragamo, Dior, Louisvuitton. Textile firms targeting the Italian market prefer Chanel, followed by Valentine, ZARA, Gucci, and Armani. Chanel is also top brand for the North American and Japanese markets, and followed by GAP, ZARA, OZOC, Missoni, Munshing Wear. The information content collected and analyzed by textile firms is style, pattern, color, and textile materials for textile firms targeting the domestic sales, while the exporting firms prefer information on color and textile materials proposed and presented by the fashion brands to which they prefer to make reference. The result of this study can be used to effectively and efficiently collect and analyze market information on fashion brands for textile firms majoring the domestic and foreign sales.

Adopting Electronic Commerce in Dongdaemoon clothes market when the customer make a reservation and the salers provide the customer with discounting service, the customer was willing to but it. Internet service categories which affect customer's satisfaction are providing lots of product information. This thesis shows providing information made the customer to increase customers's satisfaction degree and buying intention. Also convenience of product research, and reliability in transaction process can enable the customer to increase transaction reliability. These factors are very important in Electronic Commerce. In addition, factors which show customer's suggestion and inconvenience by using best seller information and discounting service board when they buy some items in Dongdaemoon clothes market affect the customer satisfaction degree and satisfaction degree of providing information. However, this thesis is analyzed that reliability of transaction process doesn't affect all successful factors such as product quality, size, online payment system, price reliability.

  • Purpose Real estate usually takes charge of the highest proportion of physical properties which individual, organizations, and government hold and instability of real estate market affects the economic condition seriously for each economic subject. Consequently, practices for predicting the real estate market have attention for various reasons, such as financial investment, administrative convenience, and wealth management. Additionally, development of machine learning algorithms and computing hardware enhances the expectation for more precise and useful prediction models in real estate market. Design/methodology/approach In response to the demand, this paper aims to provide a framework for forecasting the real estate market with machine learning algorithms. The framework consists of demonstrating the prediction efficiency of each machine learning algorithm, interpreting the interior feature effects of prediction model with a state-of-art algorithm, LIME(Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanation), and comparing the results in different cities. Findings This research could not only enhance the academic base for information system and real estate fields, but also resolve information asymmetry on real estate market among economic subjects. This research revealed that macroeconomic indicators, real estate-related indicators, and Google Trends search indexes can predict real-estate prices quite well.

  • This study is to understand the current situation of the Seoul Collection and suggest market oriented strategies in order to establish a more effective fashion market. Three elements-time, form, and, place-were defined to analyse the dynamics of the collection and two factors-customer/competitor oriented information and information interaction among participants-were employed to evaluate the Seoul collection toward market orientation. The data were collected from the collection participants via an in-depth interview. The identified major market factors were: 1. Time-In order to create a desirable market, the opening time of the Seoul Collection needs to be rescheduled in accordance with the openings of other countries. Also the time must be suitable to the buyer's movement. 2. Product-Products which did not meet the needs of the market and their unrealistically high prices were two main factors that hindered sales. 3. Place-Although the place was a vital factor to the success of the collection, the facility was not fully a suitable location for buyers to place orders. Additionally, the analyzed data indicated the low market-oriented Seoul collection. Vital to elevating the Seoul Collection to meet the global standard, therefore, more practical research and merchandise planning should be arranged in advance.

An Analysis of the Korean manufacturing export firms' Competitiveness in EU market by Export Competitiveness Index (수출 경쟁력 지수에 의한 EU시장에서의 한국 제조 기업의 경쟁력 분석)

  • The objective of this paper is to examine the competitiveness of Korean export firms in EU market. In this study, market share index, RCA index, trade specialization index, and market competitiveness index were used as an analytical tool. On the market share index, Korea had a large market share in the SITC section 7(machinery and transport equipment) market in EU. On the RCA index, Korea appeared to have high export competitiveness in the electrical machinery, apparatus and appliances, n.e.s.(not elsewhere specified[stated]), and electrical parts thereof (77), travel goods, handbags and similar containers(83), textile yarn, fabrics, made-up articles, n.e.s., and related products(65), and iron and steel(67) division. On the trade specialization index, however, Korea appeared to tend to decline generally. On the market competitiveness index, Korea appeared to have competitive advantage in the iron and steel(67), machinery specialized for particular industries(72), office machines and automatic data-processing machines(75), electrical machinery, apparatus and appliances, n.e.s., and electrical parts thereof(77), road vehicles(78), and other transport equipment(79) division; but in 29 divisions, the index indicates that Korean firms' competitiveness was low. Finally, the authors discuss the implications of these findings and offer directions for future study.
