  • In terms of development for CMC computer science curriculum was started from 2006 year, and it was confirmed at 2013 year and adapting through 1 to 8 grade. CMC is focused on the "Develop computer fluency, not just computer literacy", "Develop thinking process skills, not just content mastery", and "Highlight the interconnectedness of knowledge, not just address a topic/subject in isolation" as a base of the curriculum. CMC have selected core factors which are Thinking process skills, Computer literacy integrated with fundamental concepts and thinking skills, Thematic integration, Spiral curriculum, and Scalability. Once CMC have been developed as a common computer curriculum by India government, both of computer training course and textbook development were conducted by government. In addition, they are trying to enforce the computer education. It suggests to Korea some significant points which were the necessity of Computer education as an independent subject and the requirement of Software education and Computational thinking as an educational content.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a statistical program using data and artificial intelligence prediction models and apply it to one class in the sixth grade of elementary school to see if it is effective in improving students' statistical literacy. Based on the analysis of problems in today's elementary school statistical education, a total of 15 sessions of the program was developed to encourage elementary students to experience the entire process of statistical problem solving and to make correct predictions by incorporating data, the core in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution into AI education. The biggest features of this program are the recognition of the importance of data, which are the key elements of artificial intelligence education, and the collection and analysis activities that take into account context using real-life data provided by public data platforms. In addition, since it consists of activities to predict the future based on data by using engineering tools such as entry and easy statistics, and creating an artificial intelligence prediction model, it is composed of a program focused on the ability to develop communication skills, information processing capabilities, and critical thinking skills. As a result of applying this program, not only did the program positively affect the statistical literacy of elementary school students, but we also observed students' interest, critical inquiry, and mathematical communication in the entire process of statistical problem solving.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the teaching and learning strategies included in the inquiry tasks of elementary moral textbooks with multiple intelligences (M.I), and to propose educational information services of teacher librarians. It was found that the tasks were mainly designed by the linguistic intelligence, logical & mathematical intelligence and spatial intelligence. In terms of the information literacy process, linguistic intelligence and spatial intelligence are mainly applied to the analysis-understanding stage. Logical & mathematical intelligence is applied to the stage of comprehensive-application and linguistic intelligence is applied to expression-delivery step. In order to cultivate the insufficient M.I in inquiry activities, teacher librarians should improve room and teaching materials of their school library and provide workbooks using the graphic organizer after analyzing the linkage of the inquiry tasks between the subjects.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between media richness, media usefulness, media experience and media decision in order to identify factors that determine the media of school library in solving performance evaluation tasks. For this purpose, 132 primary and middle school students were surveyed and their structural equation was set up by hypothesis setting, validity test, and causal model. As a result, it was confirmed that media experience of school library is a major factor in media decision. Also, media richness and media experience appeared to influence media decision through media usefulness. The analysis implies that school library is centered on teaching - learning process and evaluation, so information literacy education should be carried out in school curriculum and school library is required to provide students experience on media as the center of school education.

  • In this study, a smart Learning instruction model for school library was developed in terms of library instruction. Based on ADDIE model and ASSURE model, this model is organized considering the characteristics of school library, including facilities, materials, human resources, information problem solving process, collaborative teaching and blended learning, and utilizing smart devices. The entire procedure of this model is as follows: "establishment of instructional objectives${\rightarrow}$learner analysis${\rightarrow}$analyzing the learning environment${\rightarrow}$analyzing the learning task${\rightarrow}$instructional process design${\rightarrow}$developing instructional tool${\rightarrow}$instruction${\rightarrow}$evaluation". In addition, an instructional practice is provided for actual experience of smart Learning in school libraries.

  • Computational Thinking is one of the biggest issues in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is a core literacy required not only for SW major but also for all students including them. It is not a simple computer software education, but a coding education based on Computational Thinking, and it should be able to solve the problems in everyday life and to express the process and solutions. However, in the case of students who lack background knowledge on SW and programming languages for development, it is hard to know how to algorithmize problems and express them using computer devices. In this study, we proposed a education course model to improve the students' thinking skills and to express them effectively. In addition, we confirmed whether the non-major students who learned through this education course model can express various problems related to the major field by integrating them with computing accidents and improve the problem solving ability.

  • The Information society is accelerating it's speed of change with the IT technology at the center of it and the society as a whole is in the process of transition. The purpose of study is to reveal the information gap among the public servants of Chungbuk Province. For that reason this study on the information gap of the officers is considering the effectiveness of IT. First, A theoretical approach has been made about Information Divide. Second, the analysis of questionaire on the information divide use frequency analysis, means analysis, factor analysis, and t-test.

  • A neural network is a modeling technique useful for finding out hidden patterns from data through repetitive learning process and for predicting target values for new data. In this study, we built multilayer perceptron neural networks for prediction of the students' computer literacy based on their personal characteristics, home and social environment, and academic record of other subjects. Prediction performance of the network was compared with that of a widely used prediction method, the regression model. From our experiments, it was found that personal characteristic features best explained computer proficiency level of a student, whereas the features of home and social environment resulted in the worse prediction accuracy among all. Moreover, the developed neural network model produced far more accurate prediction than the regression model.

  • The overall digital transformation in society is rapidly progressing with the corona virus epidemic. In particular, in the field of cultural heritage and museums, digital transformation is taking place throughout the preservation, management, and utilization of cultural heritage. To respond to this, the importance of cultivating the digital literacy of museum professionals to select and utilize digital cultural heritage information is increasing. However, the current digital capacity education of museum professionals has not reached the cultivation of digital literacy due to one-way theory and one-way practical education. To overcome this, we propose a digital capacity building program using virtual museums. We propose a curriculum based on participatory museums, cooperative learning, and project-based learning theories. Learners experience the entire process of acquiring, selecting, and utilizing digital cultural heritage information through individual, cooperative, constant, exhibitions, and project-based learning programs. We were evaluated by experts in terms of education, museum education, and ICT technology education to prove its usability and derive improvements. This study will contribute to building the digital capacity of museum professionals.

  • All the aspects of human life have been affected by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). It has rapidly spread in most countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a result, early precautionary actions aiming to minimise the virus effect are taken by the Saudi government. One of these actions is the sudden shift to online classes and suspending the attendees to all educational institutes. Such immediate change can have a significant effect on the educational process, especially for students. One can argue that students' information-seeking behaviour within the current situation can affect their learning quality and outcomes. Therefore, this paper examines the Saudi students' information-seeking behaviour by taking a sample of students from Umm Al-Qura University. A descriptive analysis is conducted with 193 students and two approaches are used to collect data, questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The results showed that the majority of students face difficulties when searching and retrieving e-resources from the university library website. The problems range from mainly poor User Experience (UX), network connection, multiple errors and lack of subscription with academic publishers.
