In recent years, future information and communication technology (ICT) has influenced and changed our lives. Without various ICT-based applications, we would have difficulty in securely storing, efficiently processing, and conveniently communicating information. In the future, ICT will play a very important role in the convergence of computing, communication, and all other computational sciences and application. ICT will also influence various fields including communication, science, engineering, industry, business, law, politics, culture, and medicine. In this paper, we investigate the latest algorithms, processes, and services in future fields.

최근 들어 활발하게 연구되고 있는 스마트 철도 시스템은 통신기술과 정보기술 등 ICT(: Information & Communication Technology) 기반으로 자동화 단계를 넘어 지능화 단계로 진입하고 있다. 스마트 철도에 사용되고 있는 ICT 기술은 일반적으로 정보침해에 취약한 특성을 보여 다양한 정보보호 기술의 지원을 받고 있다. 고속/대량 운송 수단으로서 철도 시스템의 스마트화에는 그 기반을 이루는 ICT 기술을 위한 정보보호 방안의 강구가 필수적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트 철도 통신기반의 잠재적 위험 요인을 살펴보고 이에 대응할 수 있는 정보보호 요소를 고찰하여 스마트 철도 통신을 위한 단계별 정보보호 방안의 필요성을 제시한다.

본 연구는 특수교사들의 정보통신기술 (ICT; information & communication technology) 활용에 관한 실태 및 인식을 알아보기 위하여 특수교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 103부의 설문지를 토대로 교사들의 ICT 활용 현황과 수업에서 ICT 활용에 대한 태도와 시각, ICT 활용과 관련된 교원 연수의 필요성과 연수에 필요한 교육 내용을 분석하였다. 특히 ICT의 활용 교과목이 대학의 특수교육과에 반영된 시점을 기준으로 교직경력을 구분하여 그 차이를 검증하였으며 두 집단에 대한 ICT 활용 현황과 수준은 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

In several industries, including the agriculture industry, information and communication technology (ICT) expenditure has been gradually increasing. This study explores the ICT investment of Korean agricultural corporations, and examines the effect of ICT investment on their profitability using an IT portfolio framework. As the organizational capabilities and environment in which ICT is used is critical in examining its impact, the IT-savvy level is used as a moderator. An increase in ICT investment size results in a significantly positive effect on profitability in organizations with higher IT-savvy levels, whereas there is no effect in organizations with lower IT-savvy levels. This study shows the necessity of understanding the structure of ICT investments in the agriculture industry, and suggests the importance of organizational capabilities and environment in making best use of ICT.

The new age is characterised by information communication technology, where computers, laptops, mobile gadgets such as palmtops, tablets, mobile phones and the internet have made their way to every sphere of life from our domestic environments such a homes, small retail shops, banks to large industries and the world at large. Over time, so many questions about the ethical use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have emerged on who has access to what technology and the use of it and like every other technological invention. This paper will look at the morality involved in making use of ICT to promote ethical use of data or information in a virtual environment. ICT also possesses both positive and negative impacts; the questions that these impacts raise are what this piece attempts to answer, providing global scrutiny to these ethical issues, situations and questions; and providing recommendations in line with global best practices.

최근 정보기술을 이용하여 인간의 감정을 인식하고 소통할 수 있는 ICT(Information and Communication Technology)의 연구가 증가하고 있다. 예를 들어 상대방의 마음을 읽기 위해서 그 사람과의 관계를 형성하고 활동을 해야만 하는 시대에서 사회의 디지털화로 그 경험이 디지털화 되어가며 마인드를 리딩 할 수 있는 디지털기기들이 출현하고 있다. 즉, 인간만이 예측할 수 있었던 감정을 디지털 기기가 대신해 줄 수 있게 된 것이다. 얼굴에서의 감정인식은 현재 연구되어지는 여러 가지 감정인식 중에서 효율적이고 자연스러운 휴먼 인터페이스로 기대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 감성 ICT에 대한 고찰을 하고 그 사례로서 얼굴감정 인식 시스템에 대한 메카니즘을 살펴보고자 한다.

본 연구는 국내 ICT 제조업과 서비스업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 기초 연구로서 효율성과 생산성 추이 및 생산성의 결정요인을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구는 ICT산업의 효율성 분석을 위해 ICT 제조업 23개 업종과 ICT 서비스업 18개 업종에 대하여 2007년부터 2011년까지 5년간 규모의 수익불변을 가정한 DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis)의 CCR모형과 규모의 수익가변을 가정한 BCC모형을 통해 기술효율성과 순수기술효율성의 정태적 효율성을 살펴보고, 기술효율성에 대한 DEA/Window 분석과 Malmquist 생산성 지수를 이용하여 동태적 효율성을 분석하였다.

There are many policies around the world regarding Information Communication Technology (ICT). In 2012, the World Health Organization emphasized the strategic and integrated policy for the development and dissemination of ICT-based healthcare innovations at the national level. As technologies related to ICT are introduced in various countries around the world, each country announces policies and strategies to preoccupy these new industries. However, Korea is tied to various regulations in investment of ICT and thus lags behind other countries. Therefore, in this section, we review the present status and problems of ICT development in Korea and compare these with other major countries. Finally, we present the ICT development strategies and tasks in Korea.

본 연구의 목적은 스마트폰의 급속한 성장과 발전으로 인한 ICT(Information and Communication Technology)사용자 환경에서 커뮤니케이션 상호작용성에 영향을 미치는 요인들과의 관계 및 영향을 이해하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 매체활용이론 및 정보기술 수용과 관련된 선행연구들을 중심으로 상호작용성에 영향을 미치는 특성요인들을 추출하고 연구모형을 구축하였고, 이를 토대로 커뮤니케이션 상호작용성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구를 수행하였다. 실증분석결과 통신처리속도, 처리용량, 셋업시간, 처리의 정확성, 제공매체의 다양성, 그리고 시 공간제약 여부를 중심으로 평가한 ICT 매체특성, 신기술에 대한 호기심, 충동적 반응과 즉각적 반응정도로 구분한 정보기술 개인혁신성은 ICT 매체활용태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, ICT 매체특성, ICT 매체활용태도는 커뮤니케이션 상호작용성에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 정보기술 개인혁신성은 커뮤니케이션 상호작용에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 개인혁신성이 클수록 정보전달, 정보접근, 정보공유 및 활용에 소극적인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구로 제시된 결과는 ICT를 활용한 커뮤니케이션 상호작용성을 이해하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하며 본 연구를 해석하는데 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다

The smart convergence environment, in which all industries are converged around ICT infrastructure -- with the eventual inclusion of both industry and culture -- looms. With the emergence of new convergence industries such as smart medicine, smart cities, and smart automobiles, the ICT infrastructure is recognized as the foundation of the overall economy. As such, the importance of the next generation of information and communication construction businesses, which constructs the ICT infrastructure, is highlighted under the smart convergence paradigm environment; various multilateral policies to foster the information and communication construction business -- led by the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning -- are being implemented. Like other infrastructure industries, however, the estimation of the demand function of the information and communication construction business overall is essential for effectively establishing promotional policies for information and communication construction businesses. However, there has been no study which theoretically estimates the market demand function in the information and communication construction business thus far. The pursuit of a creative economy is a national agenda, as the significance of accelerating the ICT infrastructure is emphasized. Therefore, this paper seeks to estimate quantitatively the demand function in the information and communication construction business using empirical data and a statistical model and then to present policy implications which will aid the development of the information and communication construction business.
