대학의 특성에 따른 산학협력역량과 산학협력성과의 관계에 대한 연구 (A Study on Relationship between Performance of University-Industry Cooperations and Competency Factors of University-Industry Cooperations by Characteristic of Universities)

  • 본 연구는 대학의 특성에 따른 산학협력역량이 대학의 산학협력 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 202개 대학의 산학협력 역량요인과 산학협력 성과에 대한 자료를 수집하여, 다중회귀분석을 통해 실증분석하였다. 연구모형에 사용된 투입요인은 대학의 특성(연구/교육중심 대학 및 국공립/사립 대학), 산학협력 역량(자원역량 및 교육역량)이었고, 대학의 산학협력 성과요인은 지적재산권 창출성과, 기술이전 성과, 창업성과 그리고 재정성과로 구성하였다. 그 결과, 연구중심대학 및 국공립대학이 교육중심대학 및 사립대학에 비해 산학협력성과가 높았고, 산학협력자원 및 산학협력교육역량 요인 모두 산학협력성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결과가 제시되었다.

공학 융합역량에 대한 산업체와 대학생의 인식 비교분석 (A Study on the Perception about Engineering Convergence Competency between Industry and Engineering Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the perception and education requirements between industry and engineering students on engineering convergence competency, and to suggest implications for fostering engineers suitable to industry demand and direction of focus improvement in the current engineering education field. To this end, 73 industrial representatives and 104 engineering students are surveyed the engineering convergence competency and educational needs. The results of this analysis are as follows: first, the difference in engineering convergence competency by background variable was significantly different in gender of engineering students. Second, it is found that there is a significant difference between the current level and the required level of engineering convergence competency from an industry perspective. In the IPA results, it shows that new knowledge generation and future-oriented vision skills are urgently needed to be improved. And it is showed that the creative thinking, knowledge utilization, communication, and cooperation capabilities skills need to be maintained continuously. Third, as a result of the analysis of the differences in recognition of the current competency levels between industry and engineering students, there is statistically significant differences in systemic thinking, communication and cooperation, understanding of other academic fields, humanities, and future-oriented perspectives. Therefore, it is necessary to specific plans and efforts to reduce this perception gap should be prepared at the university.

연구중심 공과대학에서 창의교육의 개선방향 탐색 (Exploring Creativity Education in Research-oriented College of Engineering)

  • The aim of this paper is to find directions for improving creativity education in a research-oriented college of engineering. As a method, we interviewed 17 professors and 7 students from a research-oriented college of engineering in Seoul, South Korea and learned about their experiences related to creativity education. As a result, we were able to identify 6 topics on which the interviewees' opinions vary. We found that most professors we interviewed did not think creativity was important in their classrooms as they thought passing on engineering knowledge was more important in foundational engineering education, and creativity is hard to define. However, their evaluation method in class showed that they valued creativity, and were trying to teach creativity with little success. Also, while the professors thought they needed more communication with the students to improve creativity education, the students thought they needed more autonomy. In consideration of our findings, we proposed 4 directions for improving creativity education in a research-oriented college of engineering. First, shift perspective on the foundational education for engineering. Second, connect basic curriculum and extracurricular activities. Third, actively connect basic curriculum with the industry. Finally, provide appropriate facilities that enable different types of interactions between professors and students.

기업내 산업안전교육 실태 조사 분석 (Research & Analysis for the status of industry safety education of small-medium-sized enterprise)

  • It is said that a large part of losses caused by company is attributet to the loss manpower material resources by industrial accident. To alleviate industrial accident, machine-oriented safety supervision is superior to that of manpower-oriented in spite of diversified efforts, in many aspects. It will not secured a sense of safety if people can not utilize machines correctly despite excellent machines. As a part of preventing industrial accident, industrial safety education is aimed to improvement of productivity of company through exact research of actual condition of industrial safety education.

공학교육의 실태와 개선방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on actual state of engineering education and research for improvement)

  • 본 논문에서는 지역 산업체를 대상으로 공학교육의 실태를 분석하여 수요지향적 공학교육을 위한 개선방안을 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 공학교육 실무인재양성 교육프로그램인 캡스톤디자인, 현장실습, 주문식 인력양성을 주요 주제로 선정하여 서남권 지역산업체 임직원 대상 산학협동 교육프로그램 운영 실태를 조사하였다. 조사 결과, 서남권 지역산업체 대부분이 산학협동 교육프로그램 운영 경험이 미진하였다. 또한, 현장실습 추진 경험이 있는 산업체에서는 향후 추진계획에 유보적 입장을 보인 반면, 캡스톤디자인 경우 참여의사가 다소 있어 산학협동 교육프로그램별로 실행 모델이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 향후 지역전략 산업 기반 수요지향적 공학교육프로그램 운영을 위한 개선 방안을 마련하고자 한다.

누가 '산업체 수요 조사'를 수요하는가? : 추격형 수요기반 공학교육의 역설 (Who demands the Survey of Industry Demand?: Paradox of Demand-Based Engineering Education Under Catch-up Paradigm)

  • In Korea, engineering education based on industry demand is highly emphasized; the survey of industry demand or company satisfaction is frequently conducted. Although engineering schools have often attempted and implemented the reform of engineering education, it was found that company satisfaction with college education was always low. In this context, this study aimed to find the cause of the low satisfaction. To this end, the social background for the active survey of industry demand and company satisfaction, and its progress were investigated. The findings of this study showed that the survey of industry demand in Korea has limitations in improving the quality of college education or developing its future demand, contrary to its intention. This industry demand based approach has its historical and social root in the Korea-specific model of the catching-up style industry development and technology innovation. Therefore, it is difficult to establish appropriate academy-industry relations and discover future vision based on this model. This study presents a new way to understand and develop the future-oriented industrial and social demand, not just arguing for the uselessness of the survey of industry demand in engineering education.

현장성 강화를 위한 현장직무연수에 대한 운영 및 분석 (Operation and Analysis of field-oriented training to enforce the field education)

  • 최근 산업구조가 고도화됨에 따라 기술의 변화가 크게 일어나고 있으며 특성화고 및 마이스터고의 교육에 있어서도 이와 같은 기술변화에 맞는 교육이 필요로 되고 있다. 이와 같은 요구에 따라 특성화고 및 마이스터고 전문교과 교원에 대한 현장역량강화 및 기업과의 인적 교류 확대를 위하여 현장직무연수 프로그램이 개발되어 운영되었다. 본 연구에서는 한국기술교육대학교 능력개발교육원에서 2013년도 운영된 단기 및 중 장기의 현장직무연수 프로그램을 분석하고 그 문제점과 개선방안을 도출하였다. 분석결과 현장직무연수에 대한 만족도가 상당히 높게 나왔으며 앞으로 산업과 기술의 변화에 대응할 수 있는 연수 프로그램으로 정착될 수 있도록 개선방향을 도출하였다.

컴퓨터-소프트웨어 분야 수요지향적 교과과정의 개발 (Development of Demand-Oriented Curriculum in the Computer-Software Field)

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터-소프트웨어 분야를 중심으로, 산업계에서 요구하는 기술 요소와 대학사이의 불균형을 완화시키기 위한 정책의 일환으로 정보통신부의 주도하에 개발된 산업체 수요지향적 교과과정 개발 과정과 그 결과를 다룬다. 컴퓨터-소프트웨어 분야를 소프트웨어 개발, 시스템 통합, 임베디드 시스템 소프트웨어, 멀티미디어 및 게임 소프트웨어, 비즈니스 정보 기술 등의 다섯 가지 세부 전공 트랙으로 세분하였다. 각 트랙에 대해 네 개의 수요지향적 교과목을 포함한 교과과정을 개발하였고, 수요지향적 교과목들의 상세강의개요와 과목교안을 개발하였다. 한편 이렇게 개발한 결과물을 활용하여 다수의 대학에서 2004년부터 실제 강의가 이루어져왔다.

  • In the past, manufacturing-oriented industries focused on improving labor productivity to achieve economic growth. Korea is changing from a labor-intensive industry to a technology-intensive industry in order to occupy a competitive edge compared to other countries. Recently, a lot of investment has been made not only in technology-intensive industries but also in information industries. Therefore, it is developing in various forms such as special technology, platform industry, and virtual reality as a technology-intensive industry and information industry field. In this social phenomenon, the necessity of starting a business using new ideas and technologies is increasing. Therefore, universities also need entrepreneurship education for their students, and it is necessary to investigate how the contents of the university's start-up education support, individual achievement needs, and the degree of acquisition of start-up knowledge affect the establishment of business strategies necessary for start-ups.
