산업용 저전압 SR모터의 진상각 제어 (Advance Angle Control For Industrial Low Voltage SR Motor)

  • switched reluctance motors and drives are increasingly used in industrial applications due to their robust mechanical structure, low inertia and reduction in the rotor losses. As the motor speed increase turn on angle must be advanced to build up phase current. When C-dump converter is applied to switched reluctance motor, the capacitance of dump C has to have proper value. In this paper advance angle for a switched reluctance motor and capacitance of dump C are investigated. Then proper advance angle and the capacitance of dump-C are propose for the industrial low voltage SR motor.

  • This paper describes the current- based compact digital motor protective relay for low and high voltage induction motors, which are widely used in industrial and commercial power systems. The existing protective relays for motor protection had only overload, short circuit, reverse phase, open circuit and grounding protective elements, and measurement, start/stop control function. But in present day, for automation system, various functions are required, especially motor management and sequence control function and more. To meet these requirements, we developed an economic current-based compact digital motor protective relay which had various function to control, manage and monitor the induction motor.

CIP 기반의 지능형 전동기 제어 시스템 (Intelligent Motor Control System Based on CIP)

  • 본 논문에서는 산업 현장에서 효율적인 전동기 제어를 수행하도록 전동기 보호 릴레이, 스마트 회로 차단기 및 가변 속도 드라이브 등의 스마트 전동기 장치를 하나의 통합 모듈로 대체한 지능형 전동기 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 지능형 전동기 제어 시스템은 CIP(Common Industrial Protocol)기반의 네트워크를 통하여 지능형 전동기 제어 시스템에 연결된 각각의 전동기 또는 부하에 대한 중요 데이터를 쉽게 모니터링할 수 있으므로 언제나 정확한 프로세스 제어가 가능하고, 고장 정보 및 기록에 실시간으로 액세스하여 진단을 간소화하며, 장비 가동 중단 시간을 최소화할 수 있다.

  • Electrical motors are an integral part of industrial plants with no less than 5 billion motors built word wide every year and the BLDC motor have been increased demand on industrial application. This paper presents BLDC motor control algorithm for cost effective motor application using general purpose microprocessor which have only one on-chip timer and describes how to realize pulse width modulation(PWM) signals with general input/output(I/O) ports to control a three-phase permanent magnet brushless do motor using timer interrupt on MSP430F1232.

  • Numerical analysis has been performed to evaluate effect of the shape variables such as core length, slot width and slot length on misrun in aluminum die casting process for motor rotor. The predictive method for misrun in diecasting process was established by comparing the result of numerical analysis and an actual motor rotor. Solidification modulus was introduced to predict quantitatively the castability of aluminum diecasting process for motor rotor. It was found that there are minimum critical solidification modulus and slot width to prevent misrun according to core length through diecasting limit diagram proposed using the predictive method. The critical solidification modulus and slot width increase as core length increases to prevent misrun of aluminum motor rotor in diecasting process. Based on the results, the design criteria of slot shape to prevent misrun of aluminum motor rotor with various core length were established.

  • In this paper, a novel design method of variable motor inetia in Induction motor drive system is proposed. The inertia of a load and a motor are estimated by using RLS (Recursive Least Square) algorithm. The speed controller is designed by Kharitonove theory of motor. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified with simulation and experiments results.

The demand for low-cost brushless DC (BLDC) motors has increased in industrial applications. This paper presents a BLDC motor control algorithm for low-cost motor drive applications using general purpose microcontrollers which have only one on-chip timer. This paper describes how to realize pulse width modulation (PWM) signals with general input/output (I/O) ports to control a three-phase permanent magnet brushless DC motor using the timer interrupt on MSP430F1232.

  • 로봇과 자동화기기에 범용으로 사용되는 Stewing Motor의 Driving을 위하여 unipolar 방식과 bipolar 방식의 Controller Circuit를 design 하였으며 특히 design시 Digital logic을 이용하여 Controller를 설계 제작하여 실험을 통해 그 응용성을 실험하였다. 또한 Motor의 효율 향상을 위하여 Motor의 Winding에 흐르는 전류를 제어하기 위하여 constant Current Limit Methode와 Constant Voltage Limit Methode를 분석하고 실재 회로 제작 시 응용하여 Motor의 효율을 향상시켰다.

  • The HEV (Hybrid Electrical Vehicle) becomes commercialized recently because of high fuel efficiency and low air pollution. The highest output power system except the traction motor is an air conditioner compressor in HEV system. The full or hybrid electric compressor is applied for HEV. The general HEC (Hybrid Electric Compressor) requires the half power motor and drive system of the full electric compressor because the rated output power of motor drive system is designed to charge the minimum cooling capacity at the time of idle stop. Therefore, this hybrid electric is more economical and practical solution. In this paper, we studied about the motor drive system of hybrid electric compressor for HEV. The applied voltage specification is 42 V, an IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) is designed and applied as the compressor drive motor.

Design of Multi-protocol IED for Networked Control System of Multi-Induction Motor in Industrial Fields

  • This paper proposes a new design and implementation of multi-protocol IED for networked control system of multi-induction motor in industrial fields. The experimental multi-induction motor based multi-protocol IED of Modbus/LonTalks/TCP/IP module is designed and fabricated. This article addresses issues in architecture of LonWorks/Ethernet sever, embedded processors architecture for converting Modbus protocol to LonTalks protocol, integrating preconfigured software, and Internet technologies. It is also verified that the multi-induction motor control and monitoring system using LonWorks/Ethernet server have available, interoperable, reliable performance characteristics from the experimental results, especially, the seamless integration of TCP/IP networks with control networks allows access to any control point from anywhere. Thus, the results provide available technical data for remote distributed motor control system of industrial field or building microgrid with LonWorks BAS.
