전력선 통신용 Inductive Coupler의 특성 (Characteristics of inductive coupler for PLC(Power Line Communication))

  • PLC 시스템에서 사용되는 커플러는 전력선에 연결 형태에 따라 접촉식(Capacitive)과 비접촉식(Inductive)으로 분류된다. 특히 비접촉식 커플러에서 자기 코아(magnetic core)의 소재 특성은 커플러의 크기와 신호 손실 특성 등에 많은 영향을 준다. 본 논문에서는 비접촉식 커플러에서 자기 코아용 재료들의 물성특성과 재료 물성 변화에 따른 전력선 통신에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • In the train position defection for the rail car, which is not able to obtain the short circuit between the track circuit and the wheel, the methods by the inductive radio of non-contact type are applicated. It is represented the principles and the methods of the inductive radio train detection on MLU, Transrapid, HSST, M-Bahn, and People Mover for MAGLEV, on Kobe system for the rubber-tired vehicle, and on ICE for wheel-on-rail.

A Novel Hybrid Sequential Start Control System for Large Inductive Loads

  • The inrush current of a large inductive load can be reduced with a soft starter; however, the large inrush current caused by simultaneous bulk starts (SBSs) cannot be effectively reduced. In order to reduce the high inrush current and voltage sag owing to the SBSs of large capacity inductive loads within a power network, a novel hybrid sequential start control system is proposed, implemented on embedded systems, and evaluated with a testbed in this study. From the experimental and simulation results of the proposed control system, the inrush current could be effectively restricted below the maximum current capacity of a power distributing board. Moreover, with the proposed system, power cost typically dictated by the peak power consumption can be fairly reduced, and the quality of the power system connected to the inductive loads can be efficiently increased.

  • The accuracy and the dynamic bandwidth are the two most important indices that an inductive position sensor is evaluated with. Eddy currents and magnetic hysteresis affect both of these performance indices. As the modulation frequency of the sensor increases to improve the dynamic bandwidth, the effects of eddy currents and hysteresis also increases, which results in the loss of accuracy. In this paper, a magnetic circuit model of the differential inductive sensor is developed. This model includes the effects of hysteresis and eddy currents. Experimental results confirm the validity of the model. The model predicts that the eddy current effects are not significant below the modulation frequency of 50kHz, as long as the lamination thickness is adequate.

  • In a high speed spindle system, it is very important to monitor the state of rotating rotor. Particularly in active control spindle system, the position sensor must provide feedback to the control system on the exact position of the rotor. In order to monitor the state of a high speed spindle exactly, High accuracy and wide frequency bandwidth of sensors are important. This paper describes the factors which has an effect on performances of inductive position sensor. We also report the experimental results that characterize the performances of the inductive position sensor.

  • The 7-dial inductive voltage divider(IVD) for application at low frequency range which can precisely divide the in put voltage up to resolution of $10^{-7}$ was fabricated by using the toroidal cores made by super-mumetal strips of 0.025 mm thick and special decade switches. The cores have the initial permeability of 200.000 and magnetic flux density of 0.5 T. The inphase and quadrature ratio errors for a fabricated 7-dial IVD are found to be less than $\pm$4${\times}$$10^{-7}$ and $\pm$5${\times}$$10^{-6}$ rad(k=2), respectively. by calibration using the IVD calibration system of KRISS. The fabrication techniques used and uncertainty evaluation are discussed in this paper.

  • Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment(EVSE) is a system or an equipment to supply electric power for charging the traction batteries on the electric vehicle. EVSEs are classified with a conductive charging system and an inductive charging system by the power transfer method. Inductive charging systems are necessary to use high frequency converters to increase the output power and to reduce the size of the charging systems. In this paper, a 20kHz inverter for inductive charging system has been designed and PSCAD/EMTDC have been used to simulate the output characteristics of the 20kHz inverter.

  • This paper suggests the inductive power collector using electromagnetic induction for railway vehicle such as the PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) system. Some ideas for inductive power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The inductive power of secondary part is related to mount of linked flux to secondary part by the length of air-gap, which is expected by such a system parameter as leakage reactance and magnetizing reactance. This paper will study for some performance of traditional transformer from equivalent circuit considering leakage reactance.

  • This paper shows the analysis of the inductive power transfer system in conjunction with series resonant converter operating variable high frequency. Of particular interest is the sensitivity of the complete system to variations in operational frequency and parameters. In inductive power transfer system, electrical power is transferred from a primary winding in the form of a coil or track, to one or more isolated pick-up coils that may relative to the primary. The ability to transmit power without contact enables high reliability and easy maintenance that allows inductive power transfer system to be implemented in hostile environments. This technology has found application in many fields such as electric vehicles, PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) etc. The coupling between the primary and secondary is then presented to include the effects of parameter and operational frequency variation.

  • 새 교육과정에서는 평행사변형과 삼각형의 넓이 공식을 귀납 추론으로 지도한다. 귀납적 사고는 수학교육에서 매우 중요한 목표이다. 그러나 귀납적으로 도형의 넓이 공식을 추론하는 데는 많은 문제가 있다. 이론적으로 그리고 초등학교 5학년을 대상으로 한 조사를 통해 그러한 문제를 드러내고, 도형을 변형하는 문제해결 과정으로 넓이 공식을 지도하는 방법을 제안한다.
