  • Cycloconverters can be classified into two types by the main circuit configuration. One is the non- circulating current type required the dead time the other is circulating current type which has the circulating current reactors. The switching devices were highly stressed by the load voltages during dead time on non-circulating current type operation and the circulating currents on circulating current type operation. The overcome those problems, this paper proposes the switching patterns for the partial and the non circulation current type. The PWM methods, which are saw wave comparing method and load current integrating value comparing method, are presented.

  • A half bridge type double resonant high frequency resonant inverter using PFM is described. This proposed inverter can reduce distribution of the switching current because of using the current of the serial resonant circuit to the input current of the parallel one. In the case of variable capacitance of the DC voltage source separated capacitor the analysis of inverter circuit has generally described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics has been evaluated in terms of switching frequency and parameters. Based on the characteristics value a method of the circuit design is proposed. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. In the future this proposed circuit is considerated to be useful for induction heating and discharge lamp.

  • This paper describes a Push-Pull type high fre-quency resonant inverter conposed of consolidation of boost converter circuit and resonant circuit. By using a boost converter circuit the proposed inverter can obtain a twice input voltage of reson ant circuit and reduce a secondary turn ratios. By using both boost-converter and switching device can be reduce by half. Also the ana-lysis of the proposed circuit was described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and parameters. In the future this pro-posed inverter shows that it can be practically used as a power source system for the lighting equipment of discharge lamp induction heating applications.

  • This paper presents active-clamp class-E high frequency resonant inverter with single-stage. The proposed circuit is integrated active-clamp class-E circuit to boost converter with the function of power factor correction. Boost converter is operated in positive and negative half cycle respectively at line frequency(60Hz), Such a operating in discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) of boost converter performs high power factor. By adding active-clamp circuit in class-E inverter, main switch of inverter part is operated not only ZVS(Zero Voltage Switch) but also reduced the switching voltage stress of main switch. This paper shows that simulation result using Psim 4.1 prove the validity of theoretical analysis. This proposed inverter will be able to be practically used as a power supply in various fields as induction heating applications, DC-DC converter etc.

  • 본 논문에서는 자성체 및 비자성체 용기 판별이 가능하고 워킹코일 온도 변화가 고려된 All Metal IH(Induction Heating) 제어 알고리즘을 설계한다. 용기 재질과 위치에 따른 파라미터를 분석하여 전력 Curve-fitting 모델링을 통해 용기 판별을 수행하고 비자성체 가열 시 급상하는 워킹코일 온도를 반영하여 변화하는 전력 제어 알고리즘을 보상한다. 설계된 All Metal IH 제어 알고리즘은 실험을 통해 검증한다.

  • 유도가열의 경우 고효율, 자동화, 에너지절약, 적정온도제어 등을 하기 때문에 작업환경의 개선 및 접근성에 대한 많은 이점이 있어 널리 이용되고 있다. 최근 공진특성을 이용한 고효율화를 이룬 전력변환기에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 공진을 이용한 유도가열의 경우 인덕턴스와 커패시턴스의 공진점을 추출해야하는데 작업자의 환경이나 코일의 재질 등이 균일하지 않으므로 매번 공진점을 추종해야하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자동으로 공진점을 추적하는 알고리즘을 제안하였고 실험을 통하여 이를 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 산과 골이 있는 복잡한 형상의 기어를 일정한 깊이로 열처리하기 위한 효율적인 유도가열에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 동시에 이중주파수를 발생하면서 출력을 각각 제어할 수 있는 인버터를 설계하였으며 두개의 인버터로 구동되는 방식을 기준으로 해석, 설계 및 부하와 매칭을 위한 필터 설계를 수행하여, MF(Medium frequency)와 HF(High frequency에서 공진주파수 운전을 위한 최적의 인버터를 설계 및 제작하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, the high frequency twin resonant inverter using MOSFET is presented. The output control is excellent and the EMI noise is reduced, because the output appear as the vector sum of current in each unit inverter. The output voltage and the output current of the inverter are controlled by PLL. In this paper, the principle of the twin resonant method is described. And computer simulations and experimental results are shown.

  • This paper presents a study on the current control method of the cycloconverters with high frequency LC resonant tank circuits for induction heating. The current control algorithms of the cycloconverters are proposed. Since the current waveforms of the cycloconverters have ripple, we proposed the compansation methods for that effects. And the performance of the current control system is considered with the results of the simulation by using the proposed current control algorithms.

  • A half-bridge type resonant current injection type high frequency resonant inverter using ZVS(Zero-Voltage-Switching) used as power source of induction heating at high frequency is presented in this paper. The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters, the principle of basic operating and the its characteristics are estimated by the parameters such as switching frequency and load resistance. According to the calculated characteristics value, this paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the Pspice.
