A Study on the Design of Interlaced Controller-Observer for Nonlinear Systems (비선형시스템의 관측기 제어기 조합 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In the design of nonlinear control systems separation principle does not hold. Moreover even an exponentially decaying disturbances can destabilize a nonlinear system and lead to finite escape time from certain initial conditions. So we present a simple output feedback speed controller of induction motors which is designed to minimize the effects of observation error using the Kanellakopoulos et al's interlaced controller-observer design method. Simulation shows that the proposed controller has desired performance like another complex controllers.

  • This paper described an on-line condition monitoring device for rotating machines by measurement of unbalance current due to insulation deterioration. The device consists of a zero-phase current transformer (ZCT), a low-noise amplifying circuit, and a microprocessor unit. The prototype device measures current of $500\;{\mu}A\;{\sim}\;30\;mA$ in frequency ranges from 10 Hz to 3 kHz. An application experiment was carried out on 3-phase induction motors and we could measure current changes caused by a short-circuited turn.

  • This paper described the design and fabrication of a series arc detection module to monitor electrical insulation in low-voltage system. The module consists of a passive high-pass filter with a low cut-off frequency of 3 kHz to attenuate power frequency voltage by 80 dB and an active band-pass filter with a frequency of 4 kHz to detect series arc signals only. For the application experiment, we simulated series arcing phenomena on various loads such as incandescent lamp controlled by dimmer and inverter fed induction motors by an arc generator specified in UL1699. From the experimental results, we could detect series arc signals without an influence of noises.

  • 본 논문에서는 5-레그 인버터(Five-leg Inverter)를 이용하여 2대의 유도전동기를 구동하는 시스템의 모델 예측 제어 기법을 제안한다. 기존 모델 예측 제어 기법인 FS-MPC(Full-Set MPC)는 5-레그 인버터에서 가능한 32가지의 모든 스위칭 상태를 고려하기 때문에 제어 성능은 뛰어나지만 계산량이 많아지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 FS-MPC보다 제어 성능의 저하를 최소화하고 계산량은 현저히 감소시킨 모델 예측 제어 기법을 제안하며 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안하는 기법의 성능 및 타당성 검증을 검증한다.

  • Maglev is the vehicle which can run in levitated condition by the electro-magnets, and propelled by linear induction motors. Maglev system represents a typical example of large-scale multi-disciplinary system, consisting of subsystems such as train, electrical, hardware, electronics, control, information, communication, civil technology etc., that must be the subject under configuration, control and requirement management. Not only the requirements dictate the contracts with the suppliers but also become the basis of the development process, project execution, system integration, and testing. These requirements provide the basis specification of all development activities.

  • In the future light rail vehicle is more attractive than subway, because of construction time and cost. For light rail vehicle are two types of traction motors. one is traditional rotating type and the other is linear motor. Linear motor is not better in consideration of efficiency and power factor than rotating type. But the motor needs no translation equipment for linear motion and with them can be constructed low floor vehicle. In this paper will be designed a linear induction motor with consideration of operational condition and analysed operating characteristics using FEM program and equivalent circuit.

  • Capacitor-run single induction motors have the unbalanced elliptic rotating magnetic field so that it is difficult to analyze the characteristic and calculate the accurate slot leakage reactance of the rotor with the closed slot by using the lumped parameter. In this paper, the characteristic is analyzed by the symmetrical coordinate method in terms of the lumped parameter coupled with the numerical analysis. The secondary parameters are calculated by the one slot pitch boundary condition applying to Finite Element Method (FEM). The analysis results are compared with experimental ones.

  • 본 논문에서는 산업전반에 걸쳐 널리 사용되는 유도전동기의 고장상태를 검출하기 위해 DFT(Discreet Fourier Transform)와 LDA에 기반을 둔 진단 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 실험에 의해 측정된 전류값을 DFT에 의해 시간공간에서 주파수 공간으로 변환한 후에 LDA기법을 이용하여 특징벡터를 산출한 후 거리 유사도에 의해 진단이 수행된다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위해 여섯 가지의 고장을 대상으로 다양한 조건하에서 실험한 결과 기존 방법에 비교하여 우수한 결과를 나타냈다.

  • A new fault-tolerant control topology for open-loop motor-drive systems with Delta-connected stator windings is introduced in this paper. This new control topology enables the operation of a three-phase induction machine as a two-phase machine fed by a three-phase inverter upon a failure in one of the motor phases. This topology utilizes the "open-Delta" configuration to independently control the current in each of the two remaining healthy phases. This new control technique leads to the alleviation of any torque pulsations resulting from the consequences of the asymmetrical conditions associated with this class of faults.

  • This paper presents the effects of rotor time constant variation and the on-line tuning algorithm of the rotor time constant. If the value of the rotor time constant is set incorrectly, the IFOC (Indirect Field Oriented Control)scheme exhibits deteriorated performance according to the wrong slip command. These variation effects of the rotor time constant are caused by the slip calculator where it is known that the rotor time constant play an important role in the aligned rotor flux. Using the two torque angles (stationary torque angle, rotating torque angle), the variation of the rotor time constant is identified, and the rotor time constant of the controller is tuned to the proper value of the machine. As the result, with the proposed algorithm, the dynamics of the deteriorated IFOC system, where the rotor time constant is varied, is improved. For the purpose of the validity of this proposed algorithm, the computer simulations and the experiments have been performed and the explanation of the results is presented.
