The objectives of this study were to investigate the followers's perception of the behavioral characteristics of middle managers' leadership styles and the relationship between middle managers' behavioral characteristics by leadership style and followers' trust in middle managers. The data were collected from the officials of the Rural Development Administration(RDA) of Korea in September, 2001. A total of 215 questionnaires out of 232 distributed were collected and 211 valid ones analyzed. The results from the study were as follows: First, on the leadership styles of the middle managers of RDA, the perception points of the staffs of offices/divisions were 3.56 points in servant leadership style, 3.48 points in transformational leadership style and 3.51 in transactional leadership style from the possible 5.0 points scale. Second, the mean point of the trust level of the staff to the middle managers was 3.64 points indicating that the directors in general tried to treat the staff of offices/divisions with equitably and to communicate with them openly. Third, the correlation between the trust of followers and several variables showed that the subordinate behavioral characteristics of servant leadership, transformational leadership and transactional leadership had positive effects on the trust. Especially 'individualized consideration' and 'contingent rewards' were highly correlated.

The research aims to examine the impact of leadership style on accountants' commitment with FDI firms in Vietnam based on theory of Bass and Avolio (2004). A survey with 110 accountants in FDI firms was conducted. The total of 110 respondents with full information were used for data entry and analysis. Through quantity methodology, we used Cronbach's Alpha, EFA and correlation analysis to determine the relationship between leadership style and three dependent variables including affective, normative and continuance commitment. The results showed that the leadership style had positive relationships with accountants' commitments. In particular, normative commitment with FDI firms of accountants is the most strongest. In addition, there is no statistically difference in the level of three commitments with FDI firms of accountants for three groups of job description. From the findings, this study suggests several recommendations to improve accountants' commitments such as intellectually stimulating, individualized consideration, inspirational motivation, idealized influence, and idealized influence behavior. The results are considered as a useful reference for establishing policies to attract talent personnel toward to sustainable development of firms. Commitment with the organization is a crucial factor to gain a competitive advantage and guide the success of organizations by satisfying customers, maintaining productivity and efficiency.

The study aims to identify the role of transformational leadership toward work performance through intrinsic motivation in pharmaceutical field by a survey of 220 pharmacists in Vietnam. The pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam is experiencing rapid growth, accompanied by the need for a change in leadership for managers. The transformational leadership creates a proactive, positive attitude, passion, interest or an increase in intrinsic motivation of employees, thereby affecting work performance. This study performed reliable verification by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, then the factors are analyzed by EFA before conducting multivariate regression analysis. The results showed that the transformational leadership style includes such factors as: idealized influence (attributed and behavior), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration have a positive impact on intrinsic motivation and thereby positively affecting work performance. It confirms that employees will have a higher intrinsic motivation level when working under transformational leadership from their leaders. It makes employees work more efficiently. According to the research results, the pharmacist has an intrinsic motivation to work hard on tasks that contribute to the group overall goal of. That requires managers to have a task assignment strategy to connect the goals of the members together as well as of the members to the group.
Purpose: This study was conducted in order to investigate the incidence and associated factors of suicidal ideation among the elderly according to residence area. Methods: This cross-sectional study used secondary data from the 2011 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES V-2). A representative sample of 1,464 men and women aged 65 and over was selected. Rao-scott $X^2$-test, multiple logistic regression models based on sampling scheme of the data were used. Results: Of the 1,464 respondents, 22.4% had experienced suicidal ideation during the past year. Higher incidence of suicidal ideation was observed in rural seniors (23.7%) than in urban seniors (21.1%). The incidence of suicidal ideation showed correlation with age, education level, depression, stress, lying in a sick bed, and current smoking status among elderly living in urban areas. However, among elderly living in rural areas, the incidence of suicidal ideation showed correlation with household income, depression, stress, and daily activity. Conclusion: Based on the results, nurses should manage effective and individualized nursing interventions for elders in planning suicide prevention programs with consideration for residence areas, because there were differences in the factors affecting suicidal ideation among elders according to residence area.
The study intended to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity of cooks with transformational leadership as antecedent variable. Transformational leadership has been assessed positively in variable studies as a leadership to improve employee's creativity. The authors also tried to explore structural relationships among transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and creativity by identifying the meditating role of intrinsic motivation in the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity of cooks. The study subject was CJ FOODVILLE, which is a representative company with its size, sales, and recognition as a domestic restaurant business. A survey was conducted with employees who were working as a cook in restaurants operated by CJ FOODVILLE in metropolitan areas. The results of the study showed that charisma and intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership positively influenced intrinsic motivation, but inspirational motivation and individualized consideration did not significantly influence intrinsic motivation. In addition, the four elements of transformational leadership did not significantly affect creativity. The findings of the study show that intrinsic motivation played a role as a mediation among charisma, intellectual stimulation, and creativity of transformational leadership. Therefore, the findings of the study suggested intrinsic motivation as an important factor affecting creativity of cooks.
The purpose of this study is to analyze whether leadership of team leaders and trust of team members have an effect on job commitment and satisfaction in fashion companies. A survey was conducted from December 8 to 22 in 2008, among team members of fashion companies. The data was collected with 464 subjects, the statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows; first, contingent reward, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration of leadership had an effect on all factors of trust. Charisma of leadership had an effect on calculus-based trust and identification-based trust, but management by exception had an effect on knowledge-based trust. Second, calculus-based trust and identification-based trust about team leaders had an effect on job commitment and satisfaction of team members. Third, charisma, contingent reward and intellectual stimulation of leadership had an effect on job commitment and satisfaction of team members.
This research is designed for studying between transformational leadership and behavior of subordinate. We took a practical analysis with conception of leader acceptance to search function between transformational leadership and self-efficacy. For practical proof of this research, we look hypothetical inspection with collected data after posing a question with medical Staff of 459. The practical analysis of this research is as below. First, We could know that transformational leadership affect partially positive effect to self-efficacy of subordinate. That is, as a result for researching into the influence of subordinate to self-efficacy, setting each element which forms transformational leadership as hypotheses, charismatic behavior and intellectual stimulation of leader's have an positive effect on self-efficacy of subordinate. However, there is no relation between individualized consideration and self-efficacy of subordinate. Second, we analyzed effect of subordinate's acceptance of leader between transformational leadership and acceptance degree of leader, we could know that all of them which is Two subordinate purpose of transformational leadership have a controling effects as there must be existed differences on self-efficacy before and after interaction. It is also another suggestion of this research to provide a clue to next research which is related with the importance of acceptance and it, conception, because we find the fact there could be existed the difference according to acceptance degree of leader.

This paper raised the need to examine how the online education environment triggered by COVID-19 and the smart learning environment can be established in consideration of the improvement of education and learning through learning analysis. Many studies are being conducted in Korea, and the Ministry of Education is continuously striving to build a smart school by promoting strategies for promoting smart education on the way to a talent powerhouse. Nevertheless, there is no unified definition of smart learning, and it can be seen as customized (individualized) learning using smart devices. However, most of the discussions on the construction of smart schools so far have limitations in that they are limited to physical spaces. Accordingly, the opinions of teachers and learners were not sufficiently reflected in the establishment of the facility. This study intends to study smart learning in various departments. In addition, the subjects students in charge of the co-researcher of this study were analyzed. The total number of subjects was 951, and 434 responded to this study survey. In addition, students were well accepting the online environment, and in the future, regardless of COVID-19, research will be presented to improve mutual communication between professors and students in smart learning.

Online Word-of-Mouth communication, or eWOM, has dramatically changed the way people network, interact, and share knowledge. Studies have examined why consumers choose to share knowledge online, especially online product reviews, as well as the motivations of individuals to share product ideas online. However, the role of gender in shaping the motivation and types of knowledge shared online has been given little consideration. Using concepts from Social Exchange Theory and the Theory of Reasoned Action, we address this research gap by developing and testing a model of gender's influence on knowledge sharing in a social media context. A PLS analysis of survey data from 257 students indicates that reputation, altruism, and subjective norms are key motivators for knowledge sharing intention in social media. More importantly, that gender plays a moderating role within the motivation-knowledge sharing relationship. We also find that subjective norms have a greater impact on knowledge sharing with women than with men. Collectively, our research results highlight individualized factors for improving customer participation in external facing social media for marketing and product innovation.
Contemper nursing literature place much importance on human- centered and individualized care. Nursing research has related stress during hospitalization of adolescent patients to adaptation to a new environment, isolation from friends, limitation due to illness, over protection of parents and communication with member of the medical team. The investigator conducted this study in the hope that an understanding of adolescents responses to hospitalization, their perceptions, the kinds and levels of stress, and the relationships between stressors and individual characteristics would contribute to the improvement of adolescent patient care. The objective of the study was to obtain informations related to the adolescents psychological stress experience during hospitalization, specifically stress from interpersonal relationships and communication, isolation from the family, social or economic problems, illness and from the treatment environment and nursing care. An interview schedule adopted from Holmes and Rahe's Social Readjustment Rating Scale and selected items from Voicer's instrument on stress-producing events was used with 120 adolescent inpatients aged 13 to 18 years three general hospitals in Seoul during Aug. 10, to Sep. 30, 1975. 1. The sample consisted of 66 male and 54 female patients. Sixty-six percent were late adolescents, aged 16 to 18 years: 4% were early adolescents, aged 13 to 15 years. The primary cause for hospitalization was for orthopedic problems (35.8%). More than half of these (54.4%) were due to injury or accident. 2. Stress eclated to illness revealed the highest score (4.97), followed by stress related to treatment environment and nursing care (4.34) , isolation from family and social or economic problems (4.01) and interpersonal relationships and communication (3.96). 3. The perceived indifference of doctors and nurses was a serious cause of stress (mean=4.83). Fellow patients and visitors caused least stress (mean=2.06). 4. Discontinuation of education or unemployment were major stressful events (mean=4.71). Least stressful was isolation from the family (mean=3.47). 5. More than 94% of the respondents expressed fears related to body image (mean=4.97) 6. Within the category of treatment environment and nursing care, items related to restrictions because of treatment, discomfort because of treatment, inadequate explanation from nurses about procedures were rated as severe stress events (mean=4.6). Items related to the ward environment and to having a relative stay with them were seen by the group as less serious events (mean=3.7). 7. Stress related to interpersonal relationships and communication was correlated positively with female patients and those preferring passive activities. (P〈0.05) 8. Stress related to family problems was positively related to female and early adolescent patients (P< 0.05). Stress related to social problems was positively , elated to students and those preferring active pursuits (P< 0.05). 9. There were no correlation between the high stress related to disease and any of the characteristic items. (P> 0.05) 10. Stress related to treatment environment and nursing care was positively related of early adolescent and female and student patients. (P< 0.05) This group of hospitalized adolescents reported high level of stress related to treatment environment and nursing care, due to lack of consideration of normal growth and development and individual characteristics. The findings have important implications for the planning of effective, individualized, comprehensive nursing care of adolescents during hospitalization.
