여대생의 체질량지수에 따른 Glycemic Index, Glycemic Load와 급원식품에 관한 연구 (A Study of Glycemic Index, Glycemic Load and Food Sources according to Body Mass Index in Female College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate nutrients intakes, glycemic index (GI), glycemic load (GL) according to body mass index (BMI) in female college students (n = 320). The study subjects were divided into 3 groups based on their body mass index, an underweight group (BMI < 18.5 kg/$m^2$, n = 55), a normal group (18.5 kg/$m^2$ ${\leq}$ < 23 kg/$m^2$, n = 231), and an overweight group (23 kg/$m^2$ ${\leq}$ BMI < 25 kg/$m^2$, n = 34). The food and nutrition intake data obtained by administering a 3-day food record and were analyzed by using Can pro 3.0 software. Anthropometric measurements were collected from each subject. Body weights and BMI of the underweight group were 45.9 kg, 17.6 kg/$m^2$, those of the normal group were 53.8 kg, 20.5 kg/$m^2$, and those of overweight group were 62.6 kg, 23.8 kg/$m^2$, respectively. The mean daily dietary GI of underweight, normal and overweight groups was 66.2, 65.8 and 66.5, respectively. These differences were statistically non-significant. The mean daily dietary GL of underweight, normal and overweight groups were 159.2, 149.4, and 148.9, respectively. The major food source of dietary GI and GL was rice in the three groups. Dietary GI and GL were not significantly correlated with obesity when adjusted for energy, carbohydrate and dietary fiber intake.

DETERMINANT OF INCIDENCE MATRIX OF NIL-ALGEBRA

  • The incidence matrices corresponding to a nil-algebra of finite index % can be used to determine the nilpotency. We find the smallest positive integer n such that the sum of the incidence matrices Σ$\_$p/$\^$p/ is invertible. In this paper, we give a different proof of the case that the nil-algebra of index 2 has nilpotency less than or equal to 4.

시판된장의 리올로지(Rheology) 특성에 관한 연구 (Flow Properties of Doenjang)

  • Flow properties of doenjang samples at various total solid contents (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40%) were evaluated in this study. Flow properties of doenjang samples was determined by using Haake concentric cylinderical viscometer and Instron testing machine with capillary extrusion viscometer, and consistency index(K), and flow behavior index(n) was also determined from power models, and yield stress was derived form Casson models and vanes methods. Doenjang samples showed shear-thinning (pseudoplastic) fluid with small magnitude of flow behavior index(n) (n=0.30-0.55). Casson yield stress was from 2.11 to 64.02(Pa). Vane yield stress was more effective than casson yield stress in property of reactivation. Apparent viscosity was decreased with the increase in temperature and activation energy was in the range of 6.58 to 10.70 kJ/mole. From the capillary extrusion method, K and n was increased with the increase in solid content with good correlation with. The result revealed that capillary extrusion method is useful for measuring the flow properties of doenjang.

최적 설계를 위한 3점 탐색 알고리즘의 제안 (A Proposal of 3 Point Search Algorithm for Optimal Design)

  • 最適 設計를 위한 최적치 탐색 알고리즘으로 직접 탐색법의 일종인 3점 탐색 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 알고리즘은 N차원 탐색 범위 내에 있는 수공간의 3N 점에서 함수의 최소차를 탐색하고 점차로 탐색 범위를 축소하여 동일한 타색과정을 반복수행하는 방법이다. 그러므로, 1회 탐색시에 성능 지표의 계산횟수는 3N이다. 도한 3N점 탐색법을 대산히나 3N점에 대한 탐색법으로 단순 3N탐색법을 기술하였으나, 이것은 서로 다른 매개 변수가 乘서항을 갖는 성능지표의 경우에는 불확실함이 발견되었다. 제안된 알고리즘은 2차 형식이나 선형함수로 구성되는 성능 지표에 적용이 가능하며, 안정하고 신회도가 높은 특성을 갖고 있음이 확인되었다.

  • This work is a continuation of our investigations for p-adic analogue of the alternating form Dirichlet L-functions $$L_E(s,{\chi})={\sum\limits_{n=1}^{\infty}}{\frac{(-1)^n{\chi}(n)}{n^s}},\;Re(s)>0$$. Let Lp,E(s, t; χ) be the p-adic Euler L-function of two variables. In this paper, for any α ∈ ℂp, |α|p ≤ 1, we give a power series expansion of Lp,E(s, t; χ) in terms of the variable t. From this, we derive a power series expansion of the generalized Euler polynomials with negative index, that is, we prove that $$E_{-n,{\chi}}(t)={\sum\limits_{m=0}^{\infty}}\(\array{-n\\m}\)E_{-(m+n),{\chi}^{t^m}},\;n{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$$, where t ∈ ℂp with |t|p < 1. Some further properties for Lp,E(s, t; χ) has also been shown.

R.F. PACD에 의하여 증착된 TiN의 경도와 밀착력에 미치는 모재 경도의 영향 (Effects of Substrate Hardness on the Hardness and Adhesion of TiN Deposited by R.F. PACVD)

  • This study was to investigate the influence of the substrate hardness on the hardness and adhesion of TiN thin film deposited by R.F. PACVD. Although the substrate hardness changed, chemical composition, stoichiometry and structure of TiN thin film did not change. ISE index was 1.96-1.99 for the substrate and was 1.57-1.79 for TiN thin film. And ISE index of TiN thin film was inverse proportion to the substrate hardness. When the substrate hardness was low, TiN thin film had many cracks around the indentation. But as the substrate hardness increased, TiN thin film had a few cracks and the deformation was limited within indentation. In having measured the adhesion of TiN thin film by SAT, the critical load (Lc) generally increased as the substrate hardness decreased.

Thin Film Characterization on Refractive Index of PECVD SiO2 Thin Films

  • Silicon oxide thin films have been deposited by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition in SiH4 and N2O plasma along the variation of the gas flow ratio. Optical emission spectroscopy was employed to monitor the plasma and ellipsometry was employed to obtain refractive index of the deposited thin film. The atomic ratio of Si, O, and N in the film was obtained using XPS depth profiling. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy was used to analyze structures of the films. RI decreased with the increase in N2O/SiH4 gas flow ratio. We noticed the increase in the Si-O-Si bond angles as the N2O/SiH4 gas flow ratio increased, according to the analysis of the Si-O-Si stretching peak between 950 and 1,150 cm-1 in the wavenumber. We observed a correlation between the optical emission intensity ratio of (ISi+ISiH)/IO. The OES intensity ratio is also related with the measured refractive index and chemical composition ratio of the deposited thin film. Therefore, we report the added value of OES data analysis from the plasma related to the thin film characteristics in the PECVD process.

Effect of Taekwondo Training on Physical Fitness and Growth Index According to IGF-1 Gene Polymorphism in Children

  • This study analyzed the effect of regular Taekwondo training for 16 weeks on physical fitness and growth index depending on different IGF-1 gene polymorphisms. The subjects of the study were 44 male students who were 8 year years old. The IGF-1 gene showed the highest frequency of 18 CA repeat (190 bp) in 50% of subjects, and was found in the homozygote (n=11), heterozygote (n=22) and non-carriers (n=11). The results of the physical fitness and growth index among the gene polymorphism groups indicated no significant differences but the expected height of the non-carrier group was significantly high (p<0.05). After Taekwondo training, the homozygote group and the non-carrier groups demonstrated significant (p<0.05) increase in grip strength and in time in the standing with one leg while closing eyes test, respectively. Only the homozygote group had a significant (p<0.05) increase in thigh circumference. IGF-1 concentration significantly (p<0.05) increased in the heterozygote group, while HOMA-IR significantly (p<0.05) decreased in the homozygote group. Furthermore, there was a significant (p<0.05) decrease in glucose in both the homozygote and the non-carriers groups. The difference between physical fitness and growth index depending on the IGF-1 gene polymorphism after Taekwondo training did not show consistent impact.

Ion assisted deposition of $TiO_2$, $ZrO_2$ and $SiO_xN_y$ optical thin films

  • Optical and mechanical characteristics of $TiO-2, ZrO_2 \;and\; SiO_xN_y$ thin films prepared by ion assisted deposition (IAD) were investigated. IAD films were bombarded by Ar or nitrogen ion beam from a Kaufman ion source while they were grown in as e-beam evaporator. The result shows that the Ae IAD increases the refractive index and packing density of $TiO_2 films close to those of the bulk. For $ZrO_2$ films the Ar IAD increases the average refractive index decreases the negative inhomogeneity of refractive index and reverses to the positive inhomogeneity. The optical properties result from improved packing density and denser outer layer next to air The Ar-ion bombardment also induces the changes in microstructure of $ZrO_2$ films such as the preferred (111) orientation of cubic phase increase in compressive stress and reduction of surface roughness. Inhomogeneous refractive index SiOxNy films were also prepared by nitrogen IAD and variable refractive index of $SiO_xN_y$ film was applied to fabricate a rugate filter.

GF($2^n$) 위에서의 다항식 일수분해 (The polynomial factorization over GF($2^n$))

  • 공개키 암호법은 정수 인수분해의 어려움에 바탕을 둔 RSA와 이산대수문제의 어려움에 근거한 EIGamal 암호법을 대표된다. GF(qn)*에서 index-calculus 이산대수 알고리즘을 다항식 인수분해를 필요로 한다. 최근에 Niederreiter에 의하여 유한체위에서의 다항식 인수분해 알고리즘이 제안되었다. 이 논문에서는 정규기저(normal basis)를 이용한 유한체의 연산을 c-언어로 구현하고, 이것을 이용한 Niederreiter의 알고리즘을 기반으로 유한체위에서의 다항식 인수분해 알고리즘과 구현한 결과를 제시한다. The public key crytptosystem is represented by RSA based on the difficulty of integer factorization and ElGamal cryptosystem based on the intractability of the discrete logarithm problem in a cyclic group G. The index-calculus algorithm for discrete logarithms in GF(qn)* requires an polynomial factorization. The Niederreiter recently developed deterministic facorization algorithm for polynomial over GF(qn) In this paper we implemented the arithmetic of finite field with c-language and gibe an implementation of the Niederreiter's algorithm over GF(2n) using normal bases.
