  • Polysiloxane SE-54 liquid phase was immobilized on the support surface as coated in thin film via in-situ cross-linking. The cross-linking between liquid molecules was initiated by dicumylperoxide. Among the supports investigated, only Chromosorb W provided the cross-linkable surface. The optimal in-situ cross-linking was achieved when Chromosorb W was coated with 5% (w/w) SE-54 and cross-linked with 1% (w/w) dicumylperoxide. The cross-linked support was useful for the trace analysis as well as for the trace enrichment.

  • Although there is an increase in demand for free-form buildings, there are several problems such as increased cost and duration and decreased constructability arising from difficult member production and installation. To solve these problems, a technology to produce free-form panels using CNC machine was developed. According to the technology, the information on free-form buildings designed is delivered to the CNC machine, a form is shaped using the delivered information and free-form concrete panels are produced using the form. The limited construction site, duration and project cost as well as interferences with other work types should be considered upon in-situ production of free-form concrete panels. Thus, the purpose of this study is to conduct a base study on in-situ production layout of free-form concrete panels by system dynamics. With this study, we will discover the causal relationship of influence factors on in-situ production of free-form concrete panels, and improved productivity is expected through the production layout.

  • In this study, surface-adsorbed species of 1,2-dichlorobenzene (1,2-DCB) on mesoporous $V_2O_5/TiO_2$ catalysts synthesized by spray pyrolysis were investigated through the adsorption/desorption performed using in situ FT-IR cell. Also, the comparison of adsorbed species with $TiO_2$ and $V_2O_5/TiO_2$ synthesized by the incipient wetness was carried out.

  • Since the degradation caused by corrosion is restricted to the surface of materials, conventional ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation methods based on ultrasonic bulk waves are not applicable to characterization of the corrosion degradation. To take care of this difficulty, a new nondestructive evaluation method that uses ultrasonic backward radiation has been proposed recently. This paper explores the potential of this newly developed method for nondestructive characterization and in-situ monitoring of corrosion degradation. Specifically, backward radiated ultrasounds from aged thermo-mechanically controlled process (TMCP) steel specimens by corrosion fatigue were measured and their characteristics were correlated to those of the aged specimens. The excellent correlation observed in the present study demonstrates the high potential of the backward radiated ultrasound as an effective tool for nondestructive characterization of corrosion degradation. In addition, the potential of the backward radiated ultrasound to in-situ monitoring of corrosion degradation is under current investigation.

  • A real-time monitoring system for in-situ soil remediation technologies is developed and then applied to electrokinetic remediation technique in the field trial tests during 150days. The developed system is consisted the controlled program based on internet web page, data logger, measurement instruments and so on. In the measured items there are pH, temperature, electrical current and potential, vacuum pressure. The results indicated that the system is successively applied to electrokinetic remediation technique, and further research considering economic view and multi purpose system for in-situ soil remediation technologies is needed.

  • We propose a new in-situ fluorine passivation of poly-Si TFTs using excimer laser annealing to reduce the trap state density and improve reliability significantly. To investigate the effect of an in-situ fluorine passivation, we have fabricated fluorine-passivated p-channel poly-Si TFTs and examined their electrical characteristics and stability. A new in-situ fluorine passivation brought about an improvement in electrical characteristic. Such improvement is due to the formation of stronger Si-F bonds than Si-H bonds in poly-Si channel and $SiO_2$/Poly-Si interface.

  • A Green Frame is a composite Rahmen precast concrete structure that utilizes the advantages of the steel frame and the reinforced concrete. Compared to bearing wall structure, the precast concrete structure may raise construction cost If the precast concrete members are produced in plant. Thus, if the precast concrete members can be produced in site, the cost-effectiveness and quality shall be increased. Various site conditions must be considered and reviewed to ensure a space for the in-situ production. Therefore, this study focuses on the basic study on the arrangement of in-situ production module of composite precast concrete members.

  • On site, In situ soil remediation technologies are very important among the remediation technologies and in general efficiency of these technologies are turned to site characterization and environmental condition. specially using of only one technology has so many limitation factors. for example, existing state of tailing and channeling and so on. actually, filled land have high concentration cation exchange capacity because of existence in abundance soil organic matter. Therefore we used various on site in Situ technologies by phase for overcome the limitation factors. Target site is petroleum (diesel) impacted filled land and using technologies are SVE(Soil Vapor Extraction), BV(Bioventing), Bioremediation, Soil flushing, Chemical oxidation.

  • This paper describes the mechanical properties of poly (Polycrystalline) 3C-SiC thin films with $N_2$ in-situ doping. In this work, the poly 3C-SiC film was deposited by APCVD (Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition) method using single-precursor HMDS (Hexamethyildisilane: $Si_2(CH_3)_6)$ at $1200^{\circ}C$. The mechanical properties of doped poly 3C-SiC thin films were measured by nono-indentation according to the various $N_2$ flow rate. In the case of 0 sccm $N_2$ flow rate, Young's Modulus and hardness were obtained as 285 GPa and 35 GPa, respectively. Young's Modulus and hardness were decreased according to increase of $N_2$ flow rate. The crystallinity and surface roughness was also measured by XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), respectively.

  • In-situ particle monitors(ISPMs) are widely used for monitoring contaminant particles in vacuum-based semiconductor manufacturing equipment. In the present research, the performance of a Particle Measuring Systems(PMS) Vaculaz-2 ISPM at subatmospheric pressures has been studied. We created uniform upstream conditions of particle concentration and measured the detection efficiency, the lower detection limit, and the size response of the ISPM using uniform sized methylene blue aerosol particles. The effect of particle size, particle velocity, particle concentration, and system pressure on the detection efficiency was examined. Results show that the detection efficiency of the ISPM decreases with decreasing chamber pressure, and with increasing mass flow rate. The lower detection limit of the ISPM, determined at 50 % of the measured maximum detection efficiency, was found to be about $0.15{\sim}0.2{\mu}m$, which is similar to the minimum detectable size of $0.17{\mu}$ given by the manufacturer.
