This study aims to improve the Korean Farmers' Occupational Disease and Injury Survey (KFODIS), using the questionnaire improvement model, and systematic appraisal tools. The questionnaire improvement model comprises three stages: pretesting, redesign, and field-testing. The survey was evaluated by 13 expert reviewers, using a modified version of the Questionnaire Appraisal System (QAS-99). Based on the results of pretesting, survey questions were modified at a group meeting of experts. To identify potential issues with the improved survey questions, data were collected from 20 interviews and 31 respondents before behavior coding analysis was conducted. The questionnaire improvement model and systematic appraisal tools were useful in identifying, evaluating, and correcting miscommunication and other similar issues in the KFODIS.

The shortage of R&D personnel and the lower productivity of SMEs are critical issues in strengthening SMEs. Government provides various policies to deal with these issues. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, our lives are changing in innovative ways, but at the same time, new ethical issues are emerging. In particular, issues of discrimination due to algorithm and data bias, deep fakes, and personal information leakage issues are judged to be social priorities that must be resolved as artificial intelligence services expand. To this end, this paper examines the concept of artificial intelligence and ethical issues from the perspective of artificial intelligence ethics, and includes each country's ethical guidelines, laws, artificial intelligence impact assessment system, artificial intelligence certification system, and the current status of technologies related to artificial intelligence algorithm transparency to prevent this. We would like to examine and suggest institutional improvement measures to strengthen artificial intelligence ethics.

This study analyzed the practical issues in the Serious Accident Punishment Act (SAPA) for construction sites and proposed measures to improve provisions that are detached from reality. The Act aims to prevent major accidents across various industries, with a particular emphasis on the construction sector. While the Act's intention is commendable, several significant legal flaws have emerged during its implementation. These issues were critically analyzed and strategic recommendations were proposed. Key issues include ambiguous legal definitions, the differential impact of the law on small and large businesses, and the increased administrative and managerial burdens. This study proposed specific measures to enhance the clarity of legal terminology and technology, balance the responsibilities between small and large businesses, and streamline administrative processes. Additionally, methods for effectively revising the regulations and reasonably complying with them on-site were proposed. By addressing these issues, we aim to improve the effectiveness of the law, ensure fair application, and ultimately create a safer working environment in the construction industry. The recommendations are expected to serve as valuable resources for future revisions and improvements to SAPA and contribute to the broader goal of sustainable industrial safety and development.

We often overlook the importance of several safety issues such as identification of patients, timeout procedure, hand hygiene, handoff communication, and many others. This ignorance, along with many other issues, leads to medical error being ranked as a third leading cause of death in the U.S. Consequently, quality improvement (QI) has become one of the major subjects in healthcare despite a relatively short history. Improving quality is about making healthcare safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. Understanding the need and methodology of QI as well as participation is now essential for physicians. Although basic QI methodology has not changed, one of the most fascinating changes in recent QI is conducting large-scale QI projects through multicenter networks. Prospective multicenter QI projects utilizing the Korean Neonatal Network are a substantial initiation of pediatric QI in Korea. The Korean Pediatric Society should set ambitious goals for QI activities for every primary care pediatrician and pediatric subspecialist.

Nowadays liquid manure can no longer be regarded as a waste product, but as a compound fertilizer, which should be used as efficiently as possible, especially on the farm. Additionally, there is the intensified public discussion about environmental issues. With respect to the ecological effects of the proper application of liquid manure, administrative regulations in the form of guidelines, decrees and ordinances have been established in region. It is questionable though, if such quantifying restrictions bring a reduction of ground water pollution, or if not through these measures new problems will be created, i. e. be temporarily postponed. Moreover, in this Study, possible Operation and technical Improvement are presented.

The recent introduction of BIM technology has raised the interest on the BIM quality assurance and management more than ever. This study aims to consider the ways of BIM quality improvement by analyzing the most frequent issues rising from multiple BIM projects. For this purpose, the 12 test models from BIM education program hosted by buildingSMART Korea are investigated based on the requirements in the public BIM guidelines. All the BIM issues generated are categorized by the criteria applied and analyzed for each kind of building element. The results showed that more than half of the issued at least could be cleared out by improving modeling habits and technical guides.

The introduction of the BIM into the architectural service industry is currently not being conducted smoothly. The purpose of this research is to, considering the current state of the market, establish long-term strategies that will enable the BIM to successfully settle. The survey has been conducted in target of architects in order to understand pending issues. Additionally, the articles regarding BIM have been researched for the purpose of better understanding the current societal demands. Indicated by survey results, the architects agree to a certain extent upon the need of BIM for architectural designs, yet also express concerns that the BIM introduction does not guarantee betterment in efficiency. The problematic aspects of BIM introduction that have already been discussed in some policy-related studies include a multitude of complicated issues that are unable to be resolved within a short period of time: underdeveloped BIM infra, the limit of BIM software itself, political issues regarding licensing and lack of social awareness. Based on the issues mentioned above, three main areas of focus along with their respective practical strategies and tasks have been designated. Finally, this research has analyzed the current situation and its issues along with the political solutions of 12 projects, amongst which include the standard for plan drawings, licensing system improvement, cost standard and BIM introduction support. The maintenance and improvement of housing become more important than quantitative supply. So this paper suggests the directions to solve the current issues of housing improvement policies. In 2015, the housing improvement for the low-income has been expanded with the revision of housing benefit policy. And each related government departments are steadily carrying out various housing improvement programs. Under the current improvement policies, individual houses are being repaired according to the criteria of the target selection. And the repair allowance of the housing benefit is limited to the ownership households except the rented. Hereafter, it has to considered the review of the detailed goal setting and application problems in housing improvement policy and to consider the extension to the rented households and the raise of the income criteria of targets. Also, it needs to carry out the improvement of several neighboring houses at the same time for synergy effect other than individual house, to change the selection way of repair contractors and to secure the quality and advancement of the improvement.
