Today, the company is trying to improve for business performance through the optimization of corporate resources. Most companies set up new strategy for obtaining competitive advantage for survival in rapid changes of the global business environment. IT has an important role to reduce cost and to increases business performance such as increasing sales, improving business skills and corporate image, etc. in the corporate environment. The development and use of IT resource is recognized as essential in connection with the business strategy. Most companies tried to establish the strategic use of information systems to gain competitive advantage. IT resource management is not clear in a tangible result of the business. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between IT competency and organizational performance through the mediating effect of strategic use of IS. IT competency consists of IT human resource, IT infrastructure, and IT vendor management. In direct relationship between three IT competence factors and organizational performance, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that IT human resource and IT vendor management are important determinants to influence organizational performance. The additional analysis for mediating effect of strategic use of IS showed that it has mediated the relationship between IT competency factors and organizational performance. This results give us an implication, not only the importance of IT competency development, but also the importance of strategic alignment of strategic use of IS with business strategy.

The aim of this study was to establish research hypotheses and conduct empirical analysis to clarify the relationship between self-leadership, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job performance of researchers in the energy and environment fields. Data were extracted from questionnaires returned by 165 researchers in the field of energy environment among 200 questionnaires collected for approximately three weeks. The reliability, frequency, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and sobel-test were examined using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The self-leadership of the researcher has a positive (+) effect on self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job performance, and the researcher's self-efficacy has a positive (+) influence on both job satisfaction and job performance. In addition, the self-efficacy and job satisfaction mediated the relationship between self-leadership, and job performance. Therefore, to improve the job performance of the researchers, it is important to establish a system for the human resource management of the affiliated institutions and revitalize the education for the self-leadership and self-efficacy improvement. In addition, it is necessary to provide an appropriate compensation system to satisfy the researchers' enjoyment, satisfaction and trust in their jobs. In particular, because self-efficacy is a very important factor for job performance, it is important to prepare an institutional strategy for strengthening the self-efficacy of researchers.

Wireless LAN(WLAN) is a rather mature communication technology connecting mobile terminals. IEEE 802.11 is a representative protocol among WLAN technologies. With the rising popularity of delay-sensitive real-time multimedia applications(video, voice and data) in IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN, it is important to study the MAC layer delay performance of WLANs. In this paper, performance for packet delay that recently have been proposed schemes is analysed in wireless LAN and proved performance results via simulation.

Emergency shut-on valve was developed to shut off natural gas at the front of a gas meter in the house. The shut-off flow rate and differential pressure of this valve was controlled by adjusting the distance between the spool and magnet. Also the spool shape was an important factor in the performance of this valve. The experimental and computational results will be useful for the design having better performance.

The present paper discusses the current status of outsourcing of service encounter in department stores. We attempt to find if there is any significant relationship between outsourcing motive and business performance. The 30 department stores under analysis show that they vary in the degree to which they appreciate the necessity of outsourcing and also the which they employ outsourcing. It is also found that firm size influences the portion of outsourcing. The two main motives of outsourcing seem to be (i) cost saving and (ⅱ) better customer satisfaction. We find that the latter plays a more important role. However, there seems to be no significant connection between outsourcing and performance and between motives of outsourcing and performance.

In the recent, the size of hardware is smaller and the structure is simpler, without reducing the performance of the digital controller. Accordingly, the fixed-point arithmetic is very important in the digital controller. This paper presents simulation to apply the robust control algorithms to DVDR servo controller using the floating-point and fixed-point arithmetic from the matlab. Also, it analyses and compares the performance of control algorithms in the each of point calculation and presents a method for improvement of drop in the performance, quantization error and overflow/underflow from using the fixed-point arithmetic

Base Station Controller which belongs to IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunication - 2000) network has several types of structure for efficient control protocol. This difference of structure occurs two different protocols for call handling. Recently the need of IMT-2000 is highly increasing, so it is important to analyze the performance of processors and IPC(Inter-Processor Communication) module with structure of BSC and protocol difference. This paper presents the performance comparison of different types of BSC in view of processor utilization, waiting time, queue length and QoS(Quality of Service) through the simulation model.

This study aims to identify the major recent research trends on person-organizational fit, and uses SCOPUS, an academic database, to identify research trends on person-organizational fit over the past 24 years (2000-2023). Frequency analysis showed that organizational was the most important term with 2,789 articles, followed by effectiveness with 2,714 articles, management with 850 articles, performance with 689 articles, organizations with 632 articles, and leadership with 597 articles. The trend analysis shows that research on fit, organization, and job is steadily increasing. The LDA analysis showed that fit, personorganization(po), and job are important topics, which shows that fit, i.e., the alignment of an individual's goals or values with the organization's goals or values, is important in the operation of an organization. The results of this study can be used as a useful guideline for organizations to establish measures to attract and cultivate excellent human resources and create organizational performance.

Technology is the most important determination factor on firm`s competitiveness. It helps firms to secure sustainable competitive advantages. Therefore Korean electronics part firms have increased their R&D investment since the 1990s. But their R&D management capabilities seem to be low level. Empirical study was undertook to verify factors that effect on R&D performance with enhancing R&D management capabilities. To accomplish the purpose, data collected valid samples in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. Using SPSSWIN 10.0package, regression analysis was used to verify hypotheses. This study verify that important factors of 4th R&D generation effect on improving R&D performance. Therefore Korean electronics firms must learn advanced firms in developed countries. Based on learning and accumulating R&D management capabilities, Korean electronics part firms should establish their firm-specific R&D management model.

Virtual Private Network (VPN) is commonly used in business situations to provide secure communication channels over public infrastructure such as Internet. This is important matters because these networks can be set-up with a lower cost of ownership compared to other means of securing communications. VPN is a proven technology that does provide security strong enough for business use. However, performance of these networks is also important in that lowering network and server resources can lower costs and improve user satisfaction. We analyzed network performance analysis of VPN protocols.
